Missing Freelton man has been found
Ontario Provincial Police say a missing Freelton man has been found safe.
The 25-year-old was reported missing on Saturday.
Police said his vehicle was found in Arthur on Monday, abandoned in a ditch.
They then issued a plea to the public for information on the man's whereabouts.
On Tuesday, the OPP said the 25-year-old was found safe 'thanks to public assistance.'

Woman threatened with a crossbow in Chatham: CKPS
The Chatham-Kent Police Service has made an arrest after they said a woman was threatened with a crossbow in Chatham. Police received the report on Thursday. When they arrived on scene, they secured the area, setting up a containment around the home on Tweedsmuir Avenue West. Officers told those inside the home to leave, for safety reasons. The suspect, a 24-year-old man, refused to comply, according to police. A Conducted Energy Weapon was used and the man later surrendered. A further investigation showed the man had allegedly made other threats to people in the home, including pointing a loaded crossbow at them. Police said the suspect is currently bound by conditions, prohibiting the possession of weapons. The man is facing charges for:

Lakeshore reminds of barbeque safety in parks
The Municipality of Lakeshore is reminding to be safe when barbequing in parks this long weekend. This warning comes after an unattended fire was found at Lakeview Park in Belle River this week. Lakeshore reminds that its park bylaw prohibits lighting of all fires and leaving barbeques alone, unattended. Cooking is only allowed on the permanent barbeque stands in the park. Once you are done, you are responsible to extinguish the flame and leave the coals for Lakeshore staff to clean up. 'Safety is our top priority for our parks and outdoor amenities,' said Frank Jeney, Lakeshore's corporate leader of community health and safety. 'Lakeview Park and West Beach are extremely popular destinations, especially on a hot summer day, and many visitors are there for the first time, so may not know what they can or cannot do. We're hoping everyone understands that the rules are designed to keep our parks safe for everyone who visits.' If you have any issues while at Lakeshore parks, you are asked to report issues online or call the Public Service Unit at 519-728-2700 during regular business hours. If you see an unattended campfire or open burn, please call the Lakeshore Fire Department.
