Rockslide closes Boulder Canyon
Denver (KDVR) — A rockslide Saturday night has closed Boulder Canyon from the base of the canyon nearly to Nederland.
The Boulder County Sheriff's Office reported the slide at 11 p.m. on X, saying it happened just below Boulder Falls. The canyon and Colorado Highway 119 is closed from the base to Hurricane Hill.

The sheriff's office said the Colorado Department of Transportation was going to the slide to assess the situation.
As of 9:30 a.m. Sunday, CDOT's traffic map is still showing the roadway closed.

Thousands without power Tuesday night in Denver metro: Xcel Energy
DENVER (KDVR) — Thousands of residents in the Denver metro area were without power on Tuesday night, but the reason was unknown. According to the Xcel Energy outage map, almost 12,000 customers in the Denver metro area were without power at about 10 p.m. on Tuesday night. Low temperatures will fall to the upper 50s, which is about 5 degrees above normal for this time of year.
