Did you know Shah Rukh Khan once made Priyanka Chopra cry on the sets of Ra One? 'I profusely apologised...'
On
Priyanka Chopra
Jonas' birthday, a delightful throwback from the sets of Ra.One has resurfaced, revealing an unexpected emotional moment involving
Shah Rukh Khan
and
Sanjay Dutt
. While the film was packed with action and special effects, what happened behind the scenes was just as memorable.
A Last-Minute Dash to Set
In an episode of Live My Life for UTV Stars, Priyanka recalled arriving straight from the U.S. to shoot for Ra.One. With no time for fittings, she headed directly to set in a complicated costume. Designer
Manish Malhotra
quickly stepped in, took her measurements, and rushed the outfit for alterations.
The actress went on to share that while her costume was being altered, she checked in with director Anubhav Sinha and Shah Rukh Khan, who appeared unfazed and continued shooting.
However, by the time she was ready, she was three hours late. Though she apologized to them, they told her to apologize to Sanjay Dutt instead. 'I didn't want to go because I'm scared of him,' she admitted, but they insisted she do it.

She also recalled breaking down after Sanjay Dutt responded harshly to her apology, prompting him to call Shah Rukh Khan. Laughing as she revisited the memory, the Heads of State actress said Shah Rukh amusingly hid behind someone to watch the drama unfold from a distance. Despite the chaos, she confirmed the shoot wrapped on time and assured, 'No one is upset!'

Shah Rukh Khan's most expensive film became India's biggest flop, earned Rs 9 crore, budget was Rs..., name is... Shah Rukh Khan continues to be one of the biggest and influential Indian stars over the last three decades. He has consistently proved his mettle as an actor with numerous box office hits and captivating performances. But like every other superstar, there are some box office bombs amid his superhits. In 1995, Shah Rukh Khan had seven film releases, and among there were massive hits like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge and Karan Arjun , along with semi hits like Guddu and Ram Jaane . However, it was his final release of the year that proved to be the biggest flop of his career. The film was Mukul Anand's Trimurti , that saw Jacky Shroff and Anil Kapoor too in pivotal roles. Bankrolled by Subhash Ghai, the film was mounted on a budget of Rs 11 crore, the biggest for an Indian film at the time. Moreover, it even surpassed the record of Shanti and Ajooba for being the most expensive Indian film. Released on December 22, 1995, the film had earned Rs 1 crore on day 1 at Indian box office, a record-breaking opening for any Indian film. However, bad reviews and negative word of mouth led to the film's downfall and impacted overall collections. In the end, Trimurti's final earnings were just Rs 9 crore, less than its budget. Despite the massive star power, the film couldn't be saved and was disappeared from theatres in just two weeks. Trimurti was the last release of filmmaker Mukul S Anand, who passed away due to heart attack while filming for Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt-starrer Dus in 1997. Anand is known for his previous hit directorial projects such as Agneepath, Hum, Khuda Gawah, Sultanat, and Insaaf.

Mamata Banerjee says she's ‘worried' about ‘brother' Shah Rukh Khan after King set injury: ‘Wish him speedy recovery'
After news surfaced online about Shah Rukh Khan getting injured on the sets of his upcoming film King, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee took to X (formerly Twitter) to express concern for the Chak De India actor's health. Mamata shared a note on X, admitting that she is 'worried' about his condition. Wishing Shah Rukh a speedy recovery, she wrote, 'Reports regarding my brother Shah Rukh Khan sustaining muscular injuries during shooting make me worried. Wish him speedy recovery. @iamsrk.' According to India Today, Shah Rukh Khan injured his back while shooting for King in Mumbai. The actor was later flown to the US for treatment, accompanied by his team and family members. The report also states that Shah Rukh sustained minor injuries and is recovering well. After receiving treatment in the US, he moved to the UK to rest and recuperate. However, due to his injury, the shooting schedule of King has been put on hold and is expected to resume in September. It is also reported that Shah Rukh's pre-planned trip to Sri Lanka has been postponed because of the injury. This isn't the first time Shah Rukh Khan has suffered injuries while filming. He previously injured his back during the shoot of his 2002 film Shakti. At the time, he was diagnosed with a prolapsed disc and underwent surgery at a hospital in the UK. He eventually opted for an anterior cervical discectomy and fusion surgery, during which a disc was inserted in his spine. The actor had also fractured three ribs and his left knee during the shooting of Darr. His knee injury worsened while shooting for the 2011 film for which he had to undergo surgery. In 2007, while filming an action scene in Dulha Mil Gaya, Shah Rukh injured his left shoulder. The same shoulder was injured again during the shoot of Karan Johar's 2008 film My Name Is Khan. King is directed by Siddharth Anand, who also helmed Shah Rukh's blockbuster Pathaan. The film is a special project as it stars Shah Rukh alongside his daughter Suhana Khan, who made her debut with Zoya Akhtar's The Archies. The film also features Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Anil Kapoor, and Abhay Verma in key roles.

Shah Rukh Khan's injury in sets of King is fake? The superstar is in US for...
Over the weekend, several media reports claimed that superstar Shah Rukh Khan had suffered a serious back injury while shooting an action scene for his upcoming film King. These reports said he was flown to the US for urgent medical treatment, sending fans into a frenzy. However, those reports now appear to be false. The real reason behind Shah Rukh Khan's US visit According to a fresh update by NDTV, there is no new injury. Sources close to the actor clarified that Shah Rukh is completely healthy. The visit to the US was part of a routine treatment for some old injuries he sustained during past shoots, not because of any recent incident on the King set. 'Shah Rukh is completely fine, and no serious injury happened during the shoot,' a source confirmed. 'Whatever is being said about a major back injury is totally false. The shooting schedule is on track, and the next leg will begin in September.' Why do these rumours keep popping up? SRK has had a few injuries over the years, be it during stunts or high-energy scenes. Some of these older injuries tend to flare up, requiring occasional treatment. But every time he steps out for a checkup, rumours of a major health crisis start flying around. What's the buzz around King? Shah Rukh Khan is set to return in King, a highly anticipated action-thriller where he's expected to appear in a never-seen-before avatar. While details are still under wraps, the excitement among fans is sky-high. With shooting resuming in September, expectations are building around what could be SRK's next big blockbuster.
