As close friends and family members of the late Hulk Hogan came together to say their final goodbyes to the famous wrestler, some of the most prominent names in sports entertainment, music and podcasting showed up to pay their respects. According to an insider who spoke exclusively to Us Weekly, Hulk (real name Terry Bollea) was honored via a funeral service in Largo, Florida, on Tuesday, August 5. Per photos obtained by TMZ, rocker Kid Rock, WWE superstar and current chief content officer of the organization Triple H, his wife, Stephanie McMahon, and popular podcaster Theo Von were all in attendance. Form CEO Vince McMahon, Ric Flair and Dennis Rodman were also reportedly present for the service. Hulk's wife, Sky Daily, as well as ex-wife Linda Hogan were also in attendance, per additional photos obtained by the outlet. Hogan's funeral service comes one week after the famed wrestler died on July 24 at age 71. According to court docs obtained by Us on July 31, Hogan's cause of death was ruled as acute myocardial infarction, commonly known as a heart attack. The same report revealed that Hogan had Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), a form of cancer that affects white blood cells. It is not publicly known when, if ever, the former WWE star was formally diagnosed. Huge news for base organisers and decorators, Minecraft's next drop will add shelves

In a recent snapshot shared to the Minecraft website, a couple of new features for the game's next drop have been revealed. Much like the Copper Golem, one of these additions is also designed to make organising your base a lot more convenient. Rather than sifting through a room of chests, you'll now be able to craft shelves to display your items, which is huge news for anyone who runs into their base, fills their pockets, and immediately leaves again. Or, those who just want to make their house feel a bit more like a home rather than relying on paintings to decorate the walls. Each shelf "block" can hold three items to start, and from the screenshot featured on the blog post, it looks like these can be crafted out of numerous materials too. So, don't worry, you'll be able to craft a shelf to suit the aesthetic of your base. Whether that's cherry wood holding your tools, or spruce wood holding all the monster parts you've collected from night time adventures. You can also power these shelves with redstone, which opens up a few more functions for you to utilise. When interacting with a powered shelf, you'll be able to swap out all three items at once rather than individually. Powered shelves next to each other will also connect to form much longer shelves, and yes, you'll be able to swap out all of these items at once with a single button press too. A new function for Copper Golems was also revealed, but there's less of an emphasis on organisation and more on decoration. Over time, your Golem will oxidise, and once they reach the maximum oxidation level they will turn into statues for you to decorate your base with. There are four poses your golem could hold for the rest of time too which yes, you can change if you interact with it. If you want to get a little more work out of them though, and you need the extra pair of hands sorting your chests, you can wax them to bring them back to life. Unfortunately, we still don't have a name or a release date for this drop. Although the new features are available for testing within Bedrock Edition, I imagine it will still be a while before we see them added to the game. If you're a Java player, these features will be coming to test soon, too.

Christina Applegate hospitalized with kidney infection
Actress Christina Applegate is in the hospital fighting an agonizingly painful, double kidney infection with intravenous antibiotics, she revealed Tuesday. The 'Married… with Children' alum first started feeling unwell while visiting family in Europe, she said on Tuesday's edition of the podcast 'MeSsy,' which she co-hosts with fellow actress and MS sufferer Jamie-Lynn Sigler, broadcasting from the hospital. While on the plane home, she said she decided to go straight to the hospital from the airport. Applegate, who revealed her multiple sclerosis diagnosis in 2021, jokingly calls the hospital her 'pied-à-terre,' given her frequent visits. Normally, she said on MeSsy, doctors give her meds and send her home. This time, Applegate demanded to be admitted. 'I'm staying here because I want answers,' Applegate said she told hospital personnel. 'I want every test that you can possibly think of or ones that you haven't even thought of, and I want them done.' Doctors at first suspected a urinary tract infection, and on a previous hospital visit had even gone so far as to quiz Applegate on her wiping technique, double-checking that she went front to back. 'Like, what am I, back-wiping?' Applegate said on the podcast. 'Like, seriously, I'm 53.' The 'Dead to Me' actress said she was painfully validated when she awoke with excruciating pain radiating from her right side — and thought her appendix was bursting. 'So much pain,' Applegate said. 'I'm screaming, and they ordered me an emergency CT at 2 in the morning.' That revealed an infection in her right kidney that later spread to her left side as well. Now, rather than trying to send her home, the hospital 'won't let me leave yet — because things are messy,' Applegate said. 'Because of this kidney infection, I have to have intravenous antibiotics right now. And that's where we're at.' Sigler noted that if Applegate hadn't advocated for herself, 'this could have been so much worse.' Applegate assured listeners she's going to be ok, even while admitting she was 'holding in a bag o' tears right now.'
