Auburn to host top ten QB Landon Duckworth for official visit Landon Duckworth led the Jackson Aggies to the AHSAA Class 4A state title last season
A recruit that could top Auburn's 2026 recruiting class has locked in a summer visit.
Landon Duckworth, a four-star QB from Jackson High School (Alabama), has revealed his upcoming official visit schedule, which includes Auburn. He will visit the Plains on May 16, followed by Georgia (May 30), South Carolina (June 6), Florida State (June 13), and Ole Miss (June 20).
For most of his recruitment, Duckworth's interest has been out-of-state. The one-time South Carolina commit has been courted heavily by Georgia and Ole Miss in recent months, but Auburn is the lone in-state program to lock in an official visit with Duckworth. The Jackson High School signal caller led the Aggies' high-octane offense by passing for 3,439 yards and 31 touchdowns last season, and was second in rushing with 648 yards and 12 additional scores.
Duckworth recorded at least 100 total yards in every game for Jackson last season, and gained at least 200 yards in 10 of 15 games. He gained 579 yards in Jackson's win over Mobile Christian in September and gained 347 yards in the Aggies' state championship win over Cherokee County.
Duckworth is not the only Jackson High product that Auburn has its eyes on. Jackson running back Ezavier Crowell has Auburn in his top schools, and is slated to announce his commitment in the near future.

Bengals go with big name in recent 2026 NFL mock draft

Bengals go with big name in recent 2026 NFL mock draft The 2026 NFL draft in Pittsburgh is still 11 months away, but that doesn't mean early mock drafts and big boards aren't already flooding the internet. Our friends over at Draft Wire did just that recently, posting a first-round mock as the NFL heads into Organized Team Activities. The Cincinnati Bengals had the 24th pick in this mock, as the order was set using reverse Super Bowl LX odds, giving the New Orleans Saints the No. 1 pick. RELATED: Bengals news: Jermaine Burton buzz, practice urgency and more The Bengals don't have too many cornerbacks entering a contract year, but one of them is former second-round pick Cam Taylor-Britt. The Bengals could be in the market for a starting cornerback next season, which makes the pick made by Curt Popejoy sensical. With the 24th pick, the Bengals selected Alabama cornerback Domani Jackson. Listed at 6-1, 195 pounds, Jackson started all 13 games last season in his first season with the Crimson Tide after two seasons at USC. He recorded 52 tackles, two interceptions, seven passes defended and had a forced fumble. In three seasons between the Tide and the Trojans, Jackson has recorded 87 tackles in 33 games with two interceptions and 11 passes defended. Auburn football lands commitment from three-star 2026 athlete

Auburn football lands commitment from three-star 2026 athlete After a going through a commitment drought, Auburn landed a quality back from Mississippi on Monday. It has been over two months since Auburn football has landed a commitment for its 2026 recruiting class. That changed Monday as a three-star athlete from Mississippi announced his pledge to Hugh Freeze and the Auburn Tigers. Eric Perry, a three-star athlete from Desoto Central High School in Southaven, Mississippi, made the announcement Monday after taking an official visit to the Plains over the weekend. Perry has received offers from Jackson State, North Alabama, and Sacremento State, among others. However, he could not turn down an offer from the program the caliber of Auburn, and jumped at the first opportunity. "I just wanted to play at the highest level in the SEC," Perry said in an interview with Auburn Undercover. "I really didn't want to play anywhere else. They had reached out to me and I was real excited because my cousin played at Mississippi State and so to me, that was the standard for where I had to be. It was really the first time I came here." Perry is an elite talent with the skill set to play multiple positions. He plays quarterback for Desoto Central, however, Auburn plans to use him as a running back. The 6-0, 195-pound speedster has rushed for 1600 yards and 18 scores over the last two seasons as a quarterback, while passing for 2,832 yards and 19 touchdowns in that same time frame. Perry is the No. 35 player from Mississippi according to 247Sports' composite rankings for the 2026 cycle, and is the No. 87 overall athlete from the class. He is the eighth player to commit to Auburn's 2026 class, and is the first running back to do so.
