WASHINGTON PARISH, La. (WGNO) — A woman is dead following a crash in Washington Parish.
On Wednesday, Jan. 29, deputies with the Washington Parish Sheriff's Office were called to the scene of a crash on Sie Jenkins Road near Rolling Oaks Ridge along with officials with Fire District 7, Northshore EMS.

SLIDELL, La. (WGNO) — A Slidell man pled guilty on June 5 following an investigation into the online sharing of child sexual abuse material. According to the United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Louisiana, back in January of 2020, FBI agents began investigating child sexual exploitation material being shared over an instant messaging mobile app, eventually identifying 27-year-old Brock Taylor Guillot as a suspect in the case. Person struck, killed by train: New Orleans police Later, in February of 2021, agents searched Guillot's home, seizing electronic items that belonged to him. His cell phone was found to have at least one image and 518 videos showing the sexual victimization of children, with some victims thought to have been under 3 years old. Similar content was also found on multiple social media instant messaging accounts. Guillot pled guilty to possession of images and videos depicting the sexual exploitation of children under the age of 12 years old. He faces sentencing of up to 20 years in prison as well as at least 5 years and up to a lifetime of supervised release. He may be fined up to $250,000 and a $100 mandatory special assessment fee, and may also have to register as a sex offender. HOUMA, La. (WGNO) — Four people have been arrested as the result of a multi-agency drug investigation in Terrebonne Parish. On June 4, Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division agents, in partnership with Louisiana State Police, DEA and members of Louisiana Patrol and Parole (P&P), executed search warrants at two Houma-area homes. Girlfriend of escaped New Orleans inmate Derrick Groves arrested: U.S. Marshals At the first home in the 200 block of Hanson Drive, reportedly linked to 32-year-old Kenya Patterson, authorities allegedly found: 750 grams of a Heroin/Fentanyl mix Over 300 pills of unprescribed medication Distribution amounts of Marijuana A rifle Numerous items of drug paraphernalia consistent with drug distribution Close to $1,400 in cash Kenya Patterson was arrested and booked into the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex on charges of: Possession with the intent to distribute heroin Possession with the intent to distribute CDS II Possession with the intent to distribute marijuana Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon Possession of a firearm in the presence of narcotics Illegal use of a CDS in the presence of juveniles Clandestine labs Possession of drug paraphernalia Transactions involving proceeds from drug offenses Additional outstanding warrants in an unrelated case He is currently being held on a $611,000 bond. Further investigation led authorities to a second home in the 200 block of Angelle Drive, also linked to Patterson, said TPSO authorities. P&P agents were conducting a compliance check for 28-year-old Keondra Patterson, who is currently on parole. That's when they reportedly discovered alleged signs of drug activity and a firearm. A search warrant was issued and TPSO agents arrested a 16-year-old unidentified male, who was found asleep with a gun visibly on him. Two killed in Jefferson Parish car crash He was booked on a charge of illegal possession of a handgun by a juvenile. Other people in the home were also arrested. The search allegedly led to the discovery of: Close to 35 grams of heroin Drug paraphernalia consistent with drug distribution Four handguns Over $4,200 in cash Keondra Patterson was arrested and booked into the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex on charges of: Possession with Intent to Distribute CDS I Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon Possession of a firearm in the presence of narcotics Possession of drug paraphernalia Transactions involving proceeds from drug offenses Outstanding arrest warrants in an unrelated case She is being held on a $65,000 bond. Also arrested on the scene was 24-year-old Jecell D.
