Manchester United and Newcastle United are in talks to sign Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani, according to reports in France. United have been frustrated in their search for a new striker this summer with Viktor Gyokeres, who thrived under Ruben Amorim at Sporting CP, preferring to join Arsenal instead. The report adds that United have 'accelerated' their interest in Kolo Muani after they were rejected by Ekitike and view the PSG forward as an 'ideal' signing to bolster Amorim's attacking options. More Trending Kolo Muani spent the second half of last season on loan at Juventus, scoring 10 goals in 22 appearances. Juve are keen to sign the France international on a permanent deal but have yet to reach an agreement with PSG. The Champions League holders are open to selling Kolo Muani this summer but are demanding a €40 million (£34.6m) transfer fee for the 26-year-old.
