Woman found dead inside Shelby Township apartment; 1 arrested
A person has been arrested after a woman was found dead inside a Shelby Township, Michigan, apartment Saturday morning, police said. Officers responded to the Lakeside Park Apartments on Lakeside Park Drive around 6:30 a.m. for a "suspicious circumstance" after someone called 911 and abruptly hung up. Police said officers at the scene found a woman who was dead inside one of the apartments. Someone has since been arrested, though details of the arrest weren't immediately known. Detectives are investigating the incident as a homicide. There is no threat to the public, according to police. 4 killed, 13 hurt in Chicago weekend shootings, police say
At least four people were killed and 13 others were hurt in weekend shootings across the city as of Saturday, according to police. The ages of the victims range from 13 to 47. In the first shooting of the weekend, a 17-year-old boy was walking down the street in the 300 block of North Lavergne Avenue shortly before 6 p.m. when a red sedan fired multiple shots in the victim's direction before fleeing the scene. The teen was hit in the right arm and was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in good condition. Later in the evening, a 29-year-old man was outside in the 6600 block of South Marshfield Avenue shortly before 10 p.m. when he was shot in the rear. He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition. The victim was not able to provide any further details. Minutes later, around 10:04 p.m., in the 2800 block of West Arthington Street, a 22-year-old man was outside when he was shot by another man who was on foot. He was taken to Mt. Sinai, where he was pronounced dead. Shortly after, around 10:08 p.m., police officers responded to a report of a person shot and found a 21-year-old woman in the stairway of a residential complex in the 7200 block of South Yates Avenue. She was hit in the neck and taken to The University of Chicago Medical Center in fair condition. Chicago police responded to another shooting victim at Holy Cross Hospital, where people inside a black SUV dropped off a 17-year-old boy. The victim was shot multiple times in the body and was pronounced dead at the hospital. In other shootings from 5 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday: Unless otherwise noted, there is no one in custody in either incident. CBS News Chicago will continue to update throughout the weekend.

Chicago police seek 4 suspects in armed robbery at CTA station in River North
Mass Transit detectives are searching for four suspects they said robbed a passenger on a CTA platform in the River North neighborhood earlier this month. They said the suspects approached a passenger on an escalator on July 12, around 12:47 a.m., inside the CTA Red Line-Clybourn Station in the 1500 block of North Clybourn Avenue. They allegedly took the passenger's wallet, money, and hit him in the face. When the victim approached them to retrieve his property, one of them showed a gun. The first suspect was described as a Black man between 18 and 20 years old, standing between 5-feet-8 and 5-feet-11, weighing between 175 and 180 pounds, last seen wearing a black stocking hat, a black short-sleeved shirt, and black pants. The second suspect, a Black man between 18 and 20 years old, stands 5 feet 10 and 6 feet tall. He was last seen wearing a grey/green camouflage stocking hat, a black-colored hoodie with one camouflage sleeve, and light-colored ripped jeans. The third suspect is a Black male between 16 and 18 years of age, between 5-feet-7 and 5-feet-9. He was last seen wearing a black balaclava mask, a black T-shirt, and light-colored jeans with ripped knees. The fourth suspect was described as white/Hispanic, with long dark hair, last seen wearing a black t-shirt and light-colored jeans.
