Clipse Dish On The Neptunes Breakup: 'Whenever We See Each Other, It's Always Still Love'

Pusha T chimed in, saying that despite Chad Hugo missing from the fold, the work continues. 'Everybody knows my favorite album is Hell Hath No Fury. Pharrell did that alone. That's it,' he stated. 'Chad's my guy. I love Chad. Pharrell's my guy, love Chad, too. We're brothers, we came up together. But, you know, when you say missing in the music, there is no missing in the music when it comes to the Clipse. And if it's just P, it don't matter—we find what we find.'
The Hip-Hop world wept when they learned that Pharrell and Hugo were no longer on speaking terms due to a legal battle over ownership of The Neptunes' name and trademarks, as they initially had an agreement to split everything evenly. Skateboard P wished his former partner-in-crime all the best in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. 'I'm very grateful for our time together,' he said.
The legendary producer is handling Clipse's upcoming album, Let God Sort Em Out, all on his own, and so far they have shared the singles 'Ace Trumpets' and 'So Be It.' The latter song was incendiary, as Push targeted Travis Scott.
He added more context to his diss in an interview with GQ, recalling how the Houston artist interrupted one of their recording sessions in Paris to play his 2023 album Utopia. The London, Ontario, Canada artist reposted Frost's post to his Instagram story; however, he did so in a way where it is not initially visible that someone else wrote the post unless they wait to see Kerwin Frost's name pop up. Frost reposted Bieber's reposted and added 'Birds of a feather crash out together,' with a purple heart emoji, feather emoji, and hug emoji. Nonetheless, it is unclear whether Bieber shared this to acknowledge the love for Swag or because he agrees with the thoughts about the legendary duo. Regardless, it stirred up many feelings online. 'This what happens when you got goofy ni**as telling you your soul black,' one X user wrote, referring to one of Druski's interludes on Swag. 'Yukon a good song but wtf is this. Come [on Biebs],' another fan wrote. Pusha T hasn't shied away from addressing his issues with anyone while rolling out Let God Sort Em Out, so it is possible fans will hear something about this moving forward. What Are Clipse's First-Week Sales Projections For Their New LP ‘Let God Sort Em Out'?
Clipse reuniting for their new album Let God Sort Em Out has been one of the hottest topics of 2025, in large part due to a highly active rollout, Malice returning to Hip-Hop, and Pusha T dissing multiple rappers. The first-week sales projections for their fourth studio album have hit the timeline to a myriad of reactions. The popular Billboard-tracking X page Chart Data reported, via Hits Daily Double, that the duo's latest LP is set to sell 90,000 album-equivalent units in its first week and debut at No. 4 on the Billboard 200. If that comes true, this album would tie their 2002 debut album Lord Willin' for reaching the No. 4 spot, but fall behind it at the No. 2 spot on their list of first-week sales performances throughout their career. Willin' sold 122,000 album-equivalent units in large part due to their classic single 'Grindin'.' The internet has been loving this LP, largely due to the presence of Kendrick Lamar on 'Chains & Whips,' the reunion of Clipse and Pharrell, and seeing a veteran group still performing at a high level. Sales have rarely been their metric of success, but their recent venture into independence has many people thrilled about these projections. 'Clipse selling 90K first week units 16 years after their last album is an incredible feat,' one X user wrote. '90k first week sales for Clipse? Huge W. Their biggest first week since Lord Willin' in 2002. The press takeover worked — media STILL matters in 2025, don't let anyone tell you different,' another user wrote.
