Recent photo shows Kristen Cabot wearing a wedding ring cozied up to booze company CEO

The woman who was caught canoodling with her boss on the big screen at a Coldplay concert appeared to be madly in love with her apparent booze company CEO hubby in a photo from just last year.
Kristin Cabot, the now-on-leave HR executive at Astronomer, flashed a wide smile and hefty wedding rings alongside Privateer Rum owner Andrew Cabot and two young kids, according to a Facebook post from May 2024.
It's not clear when they were married — or where the relationship stood as of this week — but the couple bought a home in New Hampshire together just five months ago.

CEO of Astronomer resigns after viral kiss cam video

(Reuters) -The CEO of the technology firm Astronomer Inc. has resigned after being caught canoodling on camera at a rock concert with a woman who was not his wife, the company said on Saturday. The company posted a written statement on its LinkedIn profile stating that its leaders "are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met." The statement said that Andy Byron had offered his resignation as CEO and that the board of directors had accepted it. Byron had been placed on leave on Friday, and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy is serving as the interim CEO. Byron and Astronomer's chief people officer Kristin Cabot were caught on camera at the Coldplay concert on Wednesday in Massachusetts in an awkward clip that quickly went viral. A spokesman for the company said that the pair were the only employees of the firm caught on camera. The spokesman did not respond to a request for comment on Cabot's job status. Once Byron and Cabot realized they were being shown on a jumbo screen inside Gillette Stadium as they embraced, Byron ducked out of sight and Cabot covered her face with her hands and spun around. Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin responded by saying "either they're having an affair or they're just very shy." Internet sleuths immediately went to work and identified Byron and Cabot by their social media profiles before the company confirmed their identities. Solve the daily Crossword

US tech CEO in viral Coldplay concert video resigns

The CEO of an American tech company resigned Saturday after a video of him embracing an alleged colleague at a Coldplay concert went viral and fueled relentless memes. "Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met," New York-based Astronomer said in a statement shared on LinkedIn. "Andy Byron has tendered his resignation," the firm said, after previously launching an investigation. During a Coldplay concert in Foxborough, Massachusetts on Wednesday, the jumbotron zoomed in on a man and a woman embracing in the stands. But the canoodling pair appeared shocked and horrified when they spotted themselves on the big screen, with the man ducking out of frame and the woman hiding her face. "Uh-oh, what? Either they're having an affair or they're just very shy," joked Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. Within hours, internet sleuths tracked down the man as Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and said the woman was the company's chief people officer, Kristin Cabot, alleging that the two were having a not-so-discreet affair. The video has garnered millions of views on TikTok and other social media, giving rise to memes discussing everything from the folly of having an affair at a Coldplay concert, to the hypocrisy of an HR representative seemingly caught in a workplace relationship. "The craziest thing is about the Astronomer CEO cheating scandal is it was the HR lady," said one X user. "The person who would warn you against fraternizing with coworkers." Furry mascots of the Philadelphia Phillies Major League Baseball team jumped on the trend and recreated the scene for the jumbotron at a game after the video went viral. However an apology statement attributed to Byron which spread rapidly online was fake and appeared to have originated from a parody account. aks/acb Solve the daily Crossword

Andy Byron's Wife Megan Kerrigan Byron Was Deluged With Facebook Comments

Tech CEO Andy Byron has found himself at the center of an unexpected social media firestorm. According to Newsweek, Byron is married to Megan Kerrigan Byron. His wife, who also goes by the name Meg Kerrigan, found her Facebook page deluged on the morning of July 17 with comments from strangers upset about a kiss cam video that went viral at the Coldplay concert. And it went very viral, being viewed many millions of times. Kerrigan Byron's Facebook page was filled with photos showing her with her husband and kids in seemingly tranquil family scenes. The page has now been deleted. Men's Journal reviewed it before it was taken down, and verified that she was not limiting comments to the page. Some observers have noted that she did not use the last name Byron on the page; it was under the name Meg Kerrigan before it was deleted. Other comment writers chastised people for writing about the Coldplay video on Kerrigan Byron's page. City public records in Massachusetts show that Astronomer CEO Andy Byron owns a more than $1.178 million four-bedroom home in Massachusetts through a trust with Megan Byron. Real estate records show it is now valued at more than $1.4 million. Both Byron and his wife are 50, public records showed. Andy Byron's personal net worth is not known; the company he leads, Astronomer, was "valued at over $1.3 billion since 2022," according to Live Mint. Men's Journal is withholding the name of the community where they live, but it's not far from the Boston area and Foxborough, where Coldplay held a concert that propelled Byron into the middle of a social media Coldplay video shows a man and a woman in an embrace on the jumbotron. When they see they have been spotted, they duck for cover. It has not been verified that the man and woman are Byron and Kristin Cabot, a member of his company, Astronomer's, leadership team, as many people on social media are alleging. However, both have become the focal point of an Internet firestorm. Men's Journal has reached out to Astronomer seeking comment. "Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability," the company wrote in a July 18 statement posted to X and LinkedIn. The company also wrote that the Board of Directors has initiated an investigation. Newsweek noted that it's not known "whether Byron's wife also attended the concert," as well, but her Facebook photos indicate that she is not the woman in the video. Distractify published one of the family photos. "Oh, look at these two," Coldplay's frontman Chris Martin said once the man and woman were shown on the jumbotron. "All right, come on, you're OK," Martin speculated. "Either they're having an affair or they're just very shy." That, of course, has not been proven, and neither Byron nor Cabot has even confirmed they are the people in the video. But that didn't stop the power of social media controversy from being unleashed on his wife's Facebook account. Megan Kerrigan Byron's Instagram page was also deleted, although it's not clear Byron's Wife Megan Kerrigan Byron Was Deluged With Facebook Comments first appeared on Men's Journal on Jul 17, 2025 Solve the daily Crossword
