#Showbiz: Dayang Nurfaizah admits to close relationship

KUALA LUMPUR: Popular singer Dayang Nurfaizah has acknowledged that she is currently involved in a close relationship, though she remains tight-lipped about any immediate plans for marriage.
Quoting the 43-year-old songstress, Berita Harian reported today that Dayang said, "I don't deny that I'm now in the phase of getting to know this person."
"But as for whether marriage is on the cards, I'm neither confirming nor denying anything at the moment," she added, responding to media queries about speculation surrounding her romantic involvement with an undisclosed individual.
The report noted that while Dayang appeared somewhat reticent when addressing the personal questions from the press, her expressions conveyed a sense of joy and contentment.
"It may sound cliché, but I'm leaving this matter (of marriage) in God's hands. I hope everyone will pray for the best for me," Dayang said.
"Perhaps people assumed that something was already in the works because of my recent Raya song, 'Jodoh Di Hari Raya'," she said.
Dayang is scheduled to perform at Konsert MeleTOP TVS, which will be held at the Miri Indoor Stadium in Sarawak on May 17.

#SHOWBIZ: Fans shout for Hael to propose to Dayang during concert

KUALA LUMPUR: "Propose to her!" and "marry!" were the chants from fans at the Hael Husaini & Repertoire Concert last night, as Dayang Nurfaizah joined the singer and composer on stage for a duet. The crowd at Zepp Kuala Lumpur erupted in cheers for Dayang. Excitement had been building for months amid rumours of a special relationship between the 'Di Pintu Syurga' singer and Hael Husaini. Adding to the 'drama', Dayang appeared on stage as Hael sang his solo track, 'Hari Ini', a song about a bride and groom celebrating their happy day. This seemed to fuel speculation about their relationship. The audience was captivated by their harmonious duet, cheering loudly when Hael and Dayang shared a moment, especially during the line, "Today I am a man beside a woman, I will call her wife." Dayang and Hael then performed 'Haram', the winning song at the 33rd Anugerah Juara Lagu (AJL), before Dayang sang Hael's latest single, 'Lemah'. Dayang also took a moment to share her experience of working with Hael. "It's fun working with Hael. I really appreciate this opportunity. When he's working, he's very serious, easy to talk to, and incredibly talented," she said. "Hael works really hard. Even when he's joking, he jokes really hard," Dayang quipped, which was met with more cheers from the fans. The concert also featured a surprise appearance by Malaysian legend Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza, who performed 'Anta Permana', a song composed by Hael and Ezra Kong. Other artistes who joined Hael on stage included Nadeera, Wany Hasrita, and Nabila Razali. At the post-concert press conference, Hael dismissed the fan chants as playful teasing aimed at both him and Dayang. "Actually, they were shouting for the people up there because there were a lot of couples present tonight," he said. "For me, it's fine to be teased like that. My songs cover all kinds of themes. Some are about happiness. So, when people offer prayers for others, that's one of my biggest achievements tonight," he said. Hael's debut concert drew support from many fellow artistes, with popular couple Fattah Amin and Amira Othman among the most notable attendees. Other celebrities spotted in the crowd included Wani Kayrie, Dottie, Bella Dowana, and Watie of Elite. The show, which lasted over two hours, saw Hael perform 27 songs, including the duets. His setlist included hits like 'Jampi', 'Diam', 'Penjuara', 'Hajat', 'Hati', 'Sama Seperti Dulu', and 'Kejora'.

Singer Dayang Nurfaizah tight-lipped on engagement rumours

Dayang Nurfaizah will be staging two concerts soon: one in Penang on Aug 23 and another at Menara Kuala Lumpur on Sept 27. Photo: Dayang Nurfaizah/Instagram Malaysian singer Dayang Nurfaizah is choosing to keep her personal life private amid growing rumours that she is engaged and preparing to walk down the aisle soon. The 44-year-old singer, whose full name is Dayang Nurfaizah Awang Dowty, denied that any date has been set for a wedding ceremony despite the ongoing speculation. For now, she said her focus remained on her music career, specifically two exclusive concerts under the Janji With Dayang banner, set to take place in Penang on Aug 23 and at Menara Kuala Lumpur on Sept 27. 'The only dates I'm focused on are for my exclusive shows, because I haven't released a full album in a long time. The last one was in 2017, so this is something very special,' she said at a press conference on Monday. When asked about the possibility of marriage, the singer replied with a smile and said 'Pray for the best for me.' Previously, Dayang was rumoured to be romantically linked to popular singer and composer Hael Husaini, with social media speculating that the two were secretly engaged. However, Hael had publicly denied the claims. On her upcoming shows, the Sarawak-born singer said she intentionally chose to stage mid-scale performances to create a more personal and intimate experience for fans. She also expressed gratitude for the strong support, as tickets for both shows sold out quickly. – Sinar Daily

#SHOWBIZ: Hael Husaini praises Siti Nurhaliza as his all-time role model

KUALA LUMPUR: Award-winning singer-songwriter Hael Husaini Razmi has long been an avid fan of Biduanita Negara Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza, considering her his ultimate role model. In a recent interview with Berita Harian, Hael said that Siti has always set a high benchmark for him and his fellow artistes, and he constantly strives to achieve her level of excellence in music. "I always look up to the best, and Tok Ti isn't just the best at singing and entertaining; she also carries herself with the grace of a superstar," Hael said. "What I've learned from her is to push myself to be better every day, work extremely hard, always connect with my fans, maintain a wholesome image, and remain humble." Hael added that another important lesson he learned from Siti was the importance of looking after one's health. For this reason, he has ensured he is in peak condition for his upcoming concert on Saturday. "While I push myself to be better than I was yesterday, I never forget to stay fit and strong so I can give my fans my absolute best," he said. Hael is set to perform at his concert, 'Hael Husaini & Repertoire', at Zepp KL this Saturday (Aug 9). The following day, he will travel to Kota Kinabalu to perform at the Konsert Festival Tentang Cinta in the Sabah International Convention Centre.
