Three American universities tied for 16th place in the ranking: Cornell University, Princeton University and the University of California, San Francisco.
New York-based Cornell — one of the Ivy League schools under the Trump administration's microscope — earned its rank through its diverse student population and programs.
On the other hand, Princeton and the University of California's wide variety of centers, programs and research opportunities were mentioned in their ranking.

Innovative Food Holdings Inc (IVFH) Q2 2025 Earnings Call Highlights: Revenue Surge and ...

Release Date: August 13, 2025 For the complete transcript of the earnings call, please refer to the full earnings call transcript. Positive Points Innovative Food Holdings Inc (IVFH) reported a 26.9% increase in revenue for Q2 2025. The company is exiting its cheese conversion business and selling its Pennsylvania warehouse, which is expected to improve cash flow and margins. IVFH's airline catering business grew by 26.1% in Q2, indicating strong performance in this segment. The company launched an AI-driven catalog management platform to accelerate vendor onboarding and catalog growth. IVFH is expanding its business into new regional markets and participating in national food shows to increase visibility and growth opportunities. Negative Points The cheese conversion business was unprofitable and required significant resources, leading to its discontinuation. Gross margin decreased by 294 basis points year over year, primarily due to the cheese conversion business. Selling, general, and administrative expenses increased due to higher payroll and office expenses. The digital channels business saw a 4.9% decline, although this was an improvement from a 6.8% decline in Q1. The company has deferred its name change and uplisting initiatives to focus on operational execution and integration efforts. Q & A Highlights Warning! GuruFocus has detected 5 Warning Signs with IVFH. Q: Why did Innovative Food Holdings decide to exit the cheese conversion business so soon after starting it? A: Bill Bennett, CEO, explained that the decision was difficult but necessary. The cheese business was not reaching the scale needed to justify the expenses of the Pennsylvania facility. Tariff pressures and the departure of a tenant compounded the challenges. The company decided to wind down the cheese conversion and sell the facility to focus on more profitable ventures. Q: How will the closure of the Pennsylvania facility affect the company's core strategy in the Northeast corridor? A: Bill Bennett, CEO, stated that the closure will not negatively impact the core strategy. The airline catering business, which was based there, can operate from anywhere and is actually cheaper to ship from Chicago. The digital channels business, a primary growth driver, will remain unaffected. Q: Is Innovative Food Holdings considering further acquisitions to meet growth goals after the cheese divestiture? A: Bill Bennett, CEO, mentioned that the company is still evaluating the integration of recent acquisitions like Golden Organics and Loco. Depending on the synergies and goals achieved, there may be opportunities for further acquisitions. The focus remains on supporting the broader strategy of being a drop-ship company. Q: What are the expected financial impacts of selling the Pennsylvania facility? A: Gary Schubert, CFO, noted that the sale will eliminate approximately $9 million in debt, significantly strengthening the balance sheet. The company expects some tax impacts, but these will be largely offset by net operating losses from previous years. The sale will also reduce interest expenses and improve cash flow. Q: Can you provide more details on the new AI-driven catalog management platform? A: Bill Bennett, CEO, explained that the platform is in a soft launch phase, allowing vendors to interact more efficiently. The focus is on accelerating item setup, which has already improved significantly. The platform aims to streamline processes and drive business outcomes, with ongoing development to enhance automation and efficiency. Mission 10K Aims to Deliver 10,000 Units at Startup Speed to Fight America's Housing Meltdown

FREMONT, Calif., Aug. 14, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The U.S. is in the midst of the worst housing affordability crisis in modern history—and it's getting worse, fast. Since 2020, American salaries have grown by 25%. But average mortgage payments? They've surged by an eye-watering 112%. That delta has frozen millions out of the dream of homeownership. Meanwhile, rents continue to rise, new supply remains anemic, and federal and state solutions are paralyzed by red tape and political gridlock. Into this widening gap steps Mission 10K, a startup with a radical goal: build 10,000 high-quality rental townhomes at startup speed. Powered by a 40-person globally distributed team, Mission 10K is applying Silicon Valley-style velocity to real estate—centralizing design, entitlements, capital, construction, and leasing under one tightly controlled platform. 'We can't wait for public policy to solve this crisis. It's private innovation or nothing,' said CEO Neal Bawa. 'Our model uses speed as a weapon. Every day we save is a day a family moves into an affordable, dignified rental townhome.' The company's approach flips the traditional development model on its head. Instead of reinventing the wheel for each site, Mission 10K deploys what it calls a Community Creation Engine—a standardized, AI-enhanced playbook that rapidly identifies suburban parcels near job corridors, accelerates entitlements, and rapid-builds townhome-style rentals optimized for modern renters. By stacking functions that are normally siloed across dozens of vendors, the team removes friction at every stage. Their in-house teams collaborate across time zones and software stacks to compress timelines and lower cost per unit—without sacrificing quality. With over 3,000 townhomes in the pipeline and 19 land sites already secured—many at deep off-market discounts—Mission 10K is scaling aggressively across many high-growth metros. Investors are paying attention, drawn by the rare fusion of real asset security and startup-style scale economics. In an era of mounting despair and disappearing affordability, Mission 10K is building what others say can't be built: fast, smart, and at scale. About Mission 10K Mission 10K is a full-stack real estate development startup on a mission to deliver 10,000 high-quality townhomes at startup speed. The company leverages a proprietary Community Creation Engine that integrates AI-driven site selection, vertically stacked operations, and standardized design to rapidly scale housing across the U.S. With over 3,000 units in the pipeline and 19 sites secured, Mission 10K is proving that housing can be fast, affordable, and dignified—without waiting on broken systems or red tape. Southwest is coming to Knoxville next March

Southwest Airlines has added Knoxville to its route map. Flights from the Tennessee city to Nashville, Orlando, Dallas Love Field and Baltimore will start on March 26 and are now on sale. Southwest will fly Knoxville-Nashville twice daily and daily on the other three city pairs. The airline will be the lone carrier connecting Knoxville with Baltimore and Nashville, according to Cirium flight schedule data. Southwest will also operate the only flight between Knoxville and Love Field, though American flies up to five times daily between Knoxville and Dallas-Fort Worth. For Knoxville-Orlando, Southwest will compete against Allegiant, which flies the route between two and four times per week. Allegiant flies to Orlando Sanford Airport, and Southwest flies to Orlando International. Knoxville is the second new destination Southwest has announced this summer following a near four-year pause in expanding its route map. The airline will begin St. Thomas service from Baltimore and Orlando in early February. A third new destination, "where the ocean wears two shades of blue and every landing feels like an adventure," will be announced before August, Southwest hinted on Thursday. The Knoxville announcement came as Southwest extended its flight schedule availability to April 6. Also noteworthy is the airline's planned expansion in San Diego, to be facilitated by the opening of a new Terminal 1 next month. The carrier will begin daily service on March 5 between San Diego and Maui; Puerto Vallarta, Mexico; Seattle; and the Oregon cities of Portland and Eugene. Southwest is already the largest carrier in San Diego, offering at least weekly service from the Southern California airport to 27 destinations this month. /Travel-News/Airline-News/A-new-Southwest-Airlines-takes-off-to-mixed-results /Travel-News/Airline-News/Southwest-will-begin-flying-to-St-Thomas-in-2026
