Mentioning that although people say getting married is the best thing, Salman Khan pointed out that he has seen quite a few who aren't as happy in married life as they appear. He even joked about his father, legendary screenwriter Salim Khan, who married twice, mentioning that Salim might be the only person he knows who's actually happy with two wives. 'My dad is really happy because he has two wives. And they're both happy too. They get along with each other fine,' he said. While Salim Khan tied the knot with Salma Khan (née Sushila Charak) in 1964, he married actor Helen Richardson in 1981.
Salman is currently going through a rough patch in his career, with his movies not working at the box office. After the underperformance of Tiger 3, his most recent Sikandar, where he shared the screen with Rashmika Mandanna, had also bombed. Sikandar was helmed by AR Murugadoss.
