Lotto winner is third Kerry player to secure major cash prize in one week
A Kerry player has become the third person from the Kingdom to win a lotto prize in less than a week by securing more than €250,000 on Saturday.
The lucky player won a prize of €259,089 after matching five numbers and the bonus in the main Lotto draw on Saturday night.
The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased from Daybreak in Kenmare on June 5.
On Friday (June 6), a Kerry player won the Telly Bingo Snowball prize worth €60,019.
The winning ticket was sold in Cahill's SuperValu in Ballybunion, where former post mistress and Asdee woman Mairead Doyle purchased a Quick Pick ticket that won €30,570 in January.
Last Tuesday (June 3), another Kerry player won €500,000 after matching all five numbers in the Euromillions Plus draw.
The winning Quick Pick was sold on June 1 in Healy's Shop, New Street, Killarney.

A lucky Lotto player has revealed how a quick trip to the shops to grab an ice-cream led to them landing a life-changing EuroMillions prize. The Wexford woman bagged the €500,000 EuroMillions Plus jackpot in Friday's (August 8) draw after purchasing the winning ticket from Gala Express in Courtown Harbour, Courtown.
