Dave Portnoy makes rare public appearance with 26-year-old girlfriend Camryn D'Aloia at Celtics' playoff win
Dave Portnoy and his girlfriend Camryn D'Aloia were locked in while sitting courtside during Game 5 of the Knicks-Celtics Eastern Conference semifinals series in Boston on Wednesday night.
The Barstool Sports founder, who is a diehard Celtics fan, and the 26-year-old Massachusetts native sported C's hats and sipped High Noons.
D'Aloia, who lives in Boston, is a community management associate for the hair growth company Nutrafol, according to her LinkedIn page.
Emotions were high at TD Garden in Boston, where the Celtics were fighting for their season while down 3-1 in the series.
Without their superstar leader Jayson Tatum — who underwent surgery for a ruptured right achilles tendon suffered in Game 4 — the Celtics beat the Knicks, 127-102, to force a Game 6 on Friday at Madison Square Garden.

Portnoy was excited after the triumph.
'Our best player is hurt, what a disaster,' Portnoy said in an X video. 'Then you see tonight, the team rallies.'
It's unclear if Portnoy and D'Aloia will be at Game 6 back at Madison Square Garden.
The couple had a viral moment during last year's NBA Playoffs when they were featured on the live broadcast while sitting courtside during Monday's Game 4 of the Celtics-Heat first-round playoff series.

Portnoy and D'Aloia — who sat behind the broadcast table where Brian Anderson and Stan Van Gundy called the game — were clearly camera shy as they avoided looking straight ahead.
During an episode of the 'BFFs' podcast at the time, Portnoy told hosts Josh Richards and Brianna LaPaglia that the two were friends and that it wasn't a 'boyfriend-girlfriend' situation.
Portnoy confirmed they were dating during an April appearance on the 'Drop A Pin' podcast.
It came six months after Portnoy split with influencer Silvana Mojica in late 2023 following three years of dating.
Portnoy was previously married to Renee Portnoy from 2009-17.

Report: Boston Celtics seeking first round pick, reduced cap hit in Jrue Holiday trade
Report: Boston Celtics seeking first round pick, reduced cap hit in Jrue Holiday trade The Boston Celtics are widely seen as a team likely to make substantive moves this offseason to get ahead of an unprecedented payroll and tax bill set to hand Boston more money in luxury tax penalties than actual salary. And while there have been but sparse rumbles to that end since the Celtics' season ended at the hands of the New York Knicks in the 2025 NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals, things seem to be heating up on the trade rumor front. Fresh on the heels of a report from the Stein Line's Marc Stein that Boston has been fielding calls regarding veteran guard Jrue Holiday, Hardwood Paroxysm's Matt Moore relates that the Celtics are not just looking for "whatever reduced salary comes back in the deal," but also a first round draft pick. This appears to fly in the face of some reports making the rounds earlier in Boston's offseason that the Celtics might need to attach draft capital to get off of Holiday's substantial remaining salary, but with teams often negotiating through the media at this point in the league calendar, the truth is likely somewhere in the middle. Holiday still has considerable value as one of the best perimeter defenders in the league, and while his offensive game has slipped a bit with age, he can still deliver a punch on that end of the court when his number is called. The UCLA alum is owed $32.4 million next season, $34.8 million in 2026-27, and has a team option for $37.2 million in 2027-28, a substantial financial commitment even considering what Holiday brings as a player in this cap environment. We have heard reporting tying the Boston guard to the Los Angeles Clippers and Dallas Mavericks in recent weeks, and that field might expand further pending what other moves are made (or closed off) as we get closer to the 2025 NBA draft on June 25.

Pat Riley admits he wasn't sure about drafting Dwyane Wade: "I've always preferred coaching 25 or 26-year-olds"
Pat Riley has left his imprint on the NBA as a player, coach and executive. Still, he has had an even bigger impact on the Miami Heat, playing a big part in each of the organization's three NBA title runs. Pat signed with the Heat in 1995. He spent his first years with the organization developing talents like Alonzo Mourning and Tim Hardaway, who eventually became the franchise's cornerstones. Advertisement Riley stepped down as coach in 2003 and became team president — he passed the baton to assistant coach Stan Van Gundy. That year, the Heat made arguably the biggest decision in franchise history, selecting Dwyane Wade as the fifth pick in one of the most iconic draft classes ever. However, Pat wasn't initially sold on the idea of drafting the Marquette product. "I've always wanted to coach veterans. I've always preferred to coach 25 or 26-year-olds who had some experience. I also never believed that our team was ever going to be bad enough to think we'd get a high pick. But that year we ended up with No. 5, and I was looking at point guards and centers; that's what we needed," he said. "I had guys like Kirk Hinrich, T.J. Ford and Chris Kaman high on our list, and I was interested in them. Dwyane was on there, but at the start of the process, I wasn't sure," Riley added. Miami Heat's finest: Dwyane Wade and his impact Had Pat passed on Wade, that probably would've been the biggest mistake in franchise history. The history would also look very different. Advertisement Wade displayed great potential from the go, helping the team reach the Eastern Conference Finals in his sophomore season. However, the star guard took his game to the next level once Miami acquired Shaquille O'Neal from the Los Angeles Lakers. A year later, Riley returned to coach the Heat and guided O'Neal and Wade to the championship, with the latter putting up one of the best Finals performances in the history of the NBA. Two years later, Riley announced he would step down as head coach while remaining team president. He named Erik Spoelstra as his successor. But Pat still continued his magic. Advertisement In 2010, the Heat signed LeBron James and Chris Bosh to form arguably the greatest Big 3 the NBA has ever seen. They led the franchise to four straight Finals appearances from 2011 to 2014, winning back-to-back titles. Related: "I got the easier part of Shaq" - Dwyane Wade credits Shaquille O'Neal for his rise to NBA superstardom The ultimate tribute to D-Wade Honoring his contributions to the Heat franchise, Riley and Co. decided to build a Wade statue outside their home arena in Miami. This was an emotional moment for the veteran guard, who gave Heat Nation countless moments to cherish during his 16 seasons with them. The final product didn't meet expectations, with fans feeling the Heat did their icon dirty. Aware of the backlash, the legendary guard defended the bronze sculpture, stating it didn't need to look like him. Advertisement Regardless, it was a sign of respect for Wade, who became the greatest Heat player ever. It's crazy to think that he almost didn't join Miami in the first place, and that Riley, who made all the right moves during his time with the organization, could've been the guy behind that decision.
