What did Nick tell Paul in episode 3 of Ginny & Georgia season 3?
Ginny & Georgia fans, season three is *finally* here. After what seems like forever (specifically over two years), our favourite chaotic mother and daughter duo are back. And this time, things are a lot more intense.
For those who need a little refresher, season two ended with Georgia getting arrested for the murder of Tom Fuller... On her wedding day... Where she was marrying the mayor. Dramatic, we know. Which meant that season three was obviously going to revolve around the aftermath, and whether or not she's found guilty of the crime.
During episode three, there's a brief - but important - scene between Paul Randolph (the mayor and Georgia's new hubby) and Nick Throop, his assistant. While in Paul's office, Nick seemingly discloses some serious (and potentially incriminating) information about Georgia. Although viewers are intentionally not privy to the conversation, it's clear from Paul's expression that it's not the news he was expecting to hear.
Unfortunately, the exact discussion is never revealed. But for the ultimate Ginny & Georgia sleuths, it's not hard to figure out. Cast your mind back to the previous seasons, when Nick meets 'Jesse,' a real estate agent new to Wellsbury. The two embark on a relationship, but it's not long before Nick discovers Jesse's true identity: he's a private investigator named Gabriel, hired to infiltrate Georgia's inner circle and expose her secrets.
As the pair grow closer, Gabriel shares his findings with Nick, who becomes more sceptical of Georgia, and is eventually a key figure in her arrest.
Fast forward to season three now, and after Nick's bombshell, Paul has been acting distant with Georgia. Previously, he had been adamant his wife was innocent, working tirelessly to clear her name. So why have things now changed?
During the beginning of Georgia's trial at the end of episode four, Gabriel is called as a witness for the prosecution, much to her surprise. The scene ends with Gabriel declaring to the jury that he thinks they're dealing with a serial killer, having reason to suspect Georgia murdered her last two husbands. (If you remember, he was actually hired by Kenny's ex-wife - Georgia's second husband - to look into his death.)
So, when you think back to Paul's closed-off behaviour towards Georgia, it's obvious that Nick told him about the other husbands. Which led Paul to wonder: if she's capable of killing her other lovers, could he be next?

Love Is Blind UK trailer accidentally reveals major clue Bardha and Jed don't get married, fans theorise
Season two of Love Is Blind UK is in full swing, and it's almost time for the couples to say "I do" - well if they decide to, as it looks like one couple in particular won't be making things official, if the new trailer is anything to go by... At the end of episode eight, a teaser for the next two episodes were shown, and the show may have accidentally revealed that Bardha and Jed don't get married. In the clip, we see Bardha sharing her doubts with the other girls during their hen do. She says: "We did actually have an argument yesterday. Right now it does feel really uncomfortable." In the next clip, Jed reveals: "We were on two different pages. If I feel like I'm not heard, it will be a problem." The clip then skips to their wedding day with Bardha all dolled up in her lace gown complete with a long veil atop of her icy blonde locks. "Why do I need to rush into something if I don't know him enough?" she asks herself as she takes deep breaths in the mirror. But perhaps the biggest clue that they don't get married, however, is the final scene in the trailer. In the scene, one of Bardha's friends, who is wearing a burgundy gown, can be seen consoling a crying Bardha. Earlier in the clip, another bridesmaid, also wearing a burgundy gown, sobs heavily throughout the ceremony. And while we don't actually see any of Bardha and Jed's vows in the teaser, we do see a blonde bride in a veil walking back down the aisle while crying. Both Ashleigh and Bardha are blonde and have lacy dresses, however, Ash doesn't have a veil for her big day, so it's clear this is Bardha. Is it all over for these two? Hollyoaks star begs pals of 'murdered' East Lothian mum to avoid stepdad's funeral
The family of an East Lothian woman who was found dead in a French home in a suspected murder-suicide have issued a statement urging people not to attend the funeral of their stepdad. Andrew Searle and his wife Dawn Kerr were tragically found dead at their property in Les Pesquiès, south of Villefranche-de-Rouergue. A neighbour grew concerned and discovered the bodies of Andrew, 62, and Dawn, 56, earlier this year. Mr Seale was found hanged with a gag in his mouth and it was initially believed the couple had been attacked in a staged robbery. Detectives later suspected, however, that the husband killed his wife before taking his own life. Now Callum - who has appeared in Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks and in Virgin River on Netflix - has issued a statement alongside his sister Amanda, where they urged people not to attend the funeral. In a lengthy statement shared online, the pair said: "In the absence of any evidence suggesting third-party involvement in the tragic death of our mother, Dawn Kerr, the prevailing hypothesis remains that of a murder-suicide. "Our mother was killed by multiple blows to the head, and Andrew was found deceased by hanging. His injuries are consistent with self-hanging, and no defensive wounds were found on his body. There is also no evidence whatsoever of any third party's involvement at this stage. "While the official investigation is still ongoing, we cannot ignore the circumstances as they stand. For this reason, we must respectfully but firmly request that our mother not be included in any way in the funeral arrangements being made for Andrew. Please do not share photographs of them together." They added: "Please do not attend Andrew's service if you were a friend of our mother. It would be inappropriate for her memory to be associated with a service honouring the man who, based on all available evidence, may have been responsible for her death. We ask for understanding, privacy and respect as we continue to grieve and seek justice for our mum." Dawn and Andrew Searle married in September 2023 and were originally from Musselburgh, in East Lothian. Callum was beside his mother as she tied the knot with Andrew just two years ago. Sharing photos from the big day online at the time, he wrote: "Not many people can say they walked their own mother down the aisle. What a pleasure!! I love you mum. Congrats to Dawn and Andy on their wonderful wedding day and here's to a tremendous life together for the happy couple." Dawn and Andrew had moved from Scotland to Les Pesquies, near Toulouse, southern France, 10 years ago to start a new life. The pair were retired but Dawn worked from time to time as a project manager and Andrew did freelance financial work. Netflix Accused Of Being 'TV Tourists' Over ‘Adolescence' By Channel 4 News Boss
Channel 4 news boss Louisa Compton has accused Netflix of behaving like 'TV tourists' over the streamer's breakout hit Adolescence. During the opening debate at the Edinburgh TV Festival, Compton described Channel 4 as 'proud parents' of Adolescence because of the way in which the network blooded Adolescence co-creators Jack Thorne and Stephen Graham over many years and multiple shows. Thorne has made a number of Channel 4 shows down the years, including This is England '86 and Help, both of which Graham appeared in. 'Without us that wouldn't have happened.' 'We nurture where the streamers don't,' added Compton. 'Where are the investigations on the streamers into Gaza or Trump? There's no current affairs on the streamers. Everything is retrospective. [Current affairs] is a unique thing PSBs offer.' Adolescence is Netflix's second most-watched English-language show of all time. Execs from the broadcasters have previously said that the show would have been too expensive for them to make without co-pro money. Line of Duty EP Simon Heath, who runs World Productions, said there is a risk that 'you stop making shows like Adolescence' if UK producers become too tempted to only make internationally-facing shows, which need their budgets topped up from outside the UK. 'What happens is you change the nature of the show you are trying to make with more than half an eye on the international market,' added Heath. 'The risk is that the chase for international funding fundamentally alters the kinds of stories we can tell.' World Productions recently made splashy BBC-Netflix Lockerbie drama The Bombing of Pan Am 103 but Heath said this kind of co-pro is a 'rarity.' 'More and more streamers want to pursue their own shows, they don't want to be in a co-pro situation,' he added. World Productions launched three decades ago with a remit to 'make low cost drama that gave us creative control,' according to Heath, and he said the ITV Studios-backed indie is now thinking about returning to those low-cost roots. 'But you're in a world where audiences are seeking the production value of cinemas because of what the streamers are putting out there, and that's a challenge,' he said. Locking horns over in-house Compton also locked horns with John McVay, the outgoing CEO of producer trade body Pact, about the controversial new Channel 4 in-house productions unit. McVay called the unit 'wrong' and a 'waste of time and executive attention,' as he posited: 'I'm not sure it will make the difference that Channel 4 needs.' But Compton reminded McVay Channel 4 'did not ask for it' – the unit was in fact gifted to them by the government – and she said 'everything we do is for the indie sector, and a robust and healthy Channel 4 is good for the indie sector.'
