Jake LaMotta was the middleweight boxing champion known as 'The Bronx Bull' and 'The Raging Bull' during his brief reign. LaMotta had early lessons in life: to steal and to fight. He channelled his tough childhood into the ring, where his aggression became a way of combating deep-seated anxieties and emotional fears. This determination and rage turned him from a young hoodlum into a champion. But his drive for the title, his brutality outside of the ring and his almost-psychotic sexual jealousy will destroy his marriage, his deepest friendships and the career he fought to build.

Alien: Earth Viewership Numbers Prove It's an Instant Fan Favorite
Alien: Earth viewership surged with a strong debut, highlighting the series' impact within the franchise. The premiere episode attracted millions of viewers across multiple platforms in under a week. Alien: Earth amasses 9.2 million global views after last week's debut Disney measured the viewership across Hulu and Disney+ by dividing total streaming hours by the episode's runtime. FX's linear channel reportedly added more viewers. Alien: Earth is the first television series in the Alien franchise, created by Noah Hawley and produced by FX Productions. For context, Disney reported that Agatha All Along premiered to 9.3 million views in its first seven days. The Acolyte reached 11.1 million in five days. Zombies 4 hit 9.3 million in 10 days. The Bear Season 3 Episode 1 drew 5.4 million views in the first four days of its release. The numbers for its Season 4 debut have not surfaced. Comparisons remain limited because Disney rarely reports FX-specific streaming data. Nielsen, a media audience measurement company, is expected to release data on how many people streamed Alien: Earth about a month after its debut. (via Deadline) The story takes place in 2120, when five corporations (Prodigy, Weyland-Yutani, Lynch, Dynamic, and Threshold) rule Earth. Cyborgs, synthetics, and hybrids live alongside humans. Sydney Chandler's Wendy is the first hybrid prototype with human consciousness in the show. After a Weyland-Yutani spaceship crashes into Prodigy City, she and other hybrids face terrifying new life forms. The cast includes Timothy Olyphant, Essie Davis, Babou Ceesay, Adarsh Gourav, Alex Lawther, Moe Bar-El, Adrian Edmondson, Kit Young, David Rysdahl, Erana James, Diêm Camille, Lily Newmark, Jonathan Ajayi, Samuel Blenkin, and Sandra Yi Sencindiver. Episode 3 premiered on August 19 (Tuesday), following the team as they return home and confront an unsettling experiment. Future episodes of the eight-part season will air weekly on FX and stream on Hulu and Disney+. Originally reported by Anubhav Chaudhry on SuperHeroHype. Nicole Kidman's Model Daughter Shares Exciting Life Update
Nicole Kidman's Model Daughter Shares Exciting Life Update originally appeared on Parade. Sunday Rose, the 17-year-old daughter of and , is saying goodbye to her busy summer of fun and modeling as she goes back to school. The eldest daughter of Kidman and Urban took to her Instagram account on Aug. 18 to look back on the past few months as she said in the caption, "schools back so time to reminisce the vacay." The first photo in the bunch was a snap of Sunday's shadow on the ground, while the second featured a spread of delicious-looking food. Other photos showed off a book Sunday was reading, an idyllic-looking body of water, the teenager wearing a hat that read "Ciao" over wet hair, and her 17th birthday cake. The last snap was of a white cat walking by. Sunday is likely starting her final year of high school before she graduates. The young model hasn't publicly made any concrete plans yet for after graduation. The biggest lesson I've learned from my experience is to enjoy each moment as it comes, be grateful for the opportunities as I get them, and focus on bettering myself each time I get hired." She also shared an interest in possibly going to school for filmmaking, saying it "has actually been my dream career since I was 5, so I hope I'm able to study that in college." Kidman and Urban Share Two Daughters Sunday isn't Kidman and Urban's only daughter, as they also share a younger daughter named Faith Margaret, who is 14 years old. Both Sunday and Faith appear to be very close to their actress mother. In an interview early this year, Kidman referred to herself as their "guide," declaring to Allure, "If they want to tell me to be quiet, they can. I'm able to apologize to them. I'm able to stand up to them. I very much like the relationship we have. It's nice to be able to say that." Along with Kidman's two kids with Urban, she also shares two adopted children, Bella and , with her ex-husband Tom Cruise. Rumor Roundup (Aug. 20, 2025): Chris Jericho WWE return, Naomi pregnancy, LA Knight move, ADR, more!
Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill. Important reminder: Rumors are just that — rumors. None of this has been confirmed as fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. We track rumor accuracy in a weekly feature called Rumor Look Back you can find here. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt. Rumors for the Day: On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said there has been a lot of talk within WWE of Chris Jericho making his return when his contract expires at the end of the year. There is apparently a belief that his return is inevitable. Per Fightful Select, Naomi's pregnancy has led to 'huge creative shifts' within WWE. It's still not clear, however, how WWE will determine a new women's world champion. Folks have noticed that LA Knight's profile on the website now appears on the Raw roster, signifying his official switch. On Lucha Libre Online, Hugo Savinovich claimed there are many people in WWE who want Alberto Del Rio to make his return, and Roman Reigns is apparently one of those people. A fun one: TC at WrestleVotes says The New Day personally wrote the news article that appeared on the T-shirt Corey Graves showed on Raw this week. If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such.
