Rose-Hulman hosts annual ‘Giving Day'
The school holds an event every year, giving alumni an opportunity to show their support and give back to the school.
On the day, students show their appreciation through writing down things that they are thankful for at Rose and placing them into a collage.
Students also get the opportunity to meet some of the generous alumni who have given support.
This year, the school's goal is $675,000.
Eathan Faust, a Rose-Hulman student, said the day is extra special for him because he wouldn't even be at Rose if it wasn't for alumni support.
'I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for alumni support through scholarships and giving', Faust said. 'I'm here on a scholarship or I wouldn't be at Rose. It's definitely something that directly affects students because a lot of us wouldn't be able to appreciate Rose at all if it wasn't for them.'
Since the first 'Giving Day' in 2020, there has been over $2 million raised on 'Giving Day' at Rose-Hulman.
