Mountain lion caught on Fairfield doorbell Ring camera
(FOX40.COM) — The Fairfield Police Department shared a few reminders after a mountain lion was caught on a Ring doorbell camera early Monday morning.

The mountain lion appeared at the home around 2 a.m., police said.
They assured the community that Animal Control and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife were notified.
They remind the community to:
Pay special attention to pets kept outdoors
Refrain from antagonizing, chasing or attempting to take photos of the animal
Remember that wild animals will return to where they came from
Police also ask that the community refrain from calling dispatch unless the animal behavior becomes a safety concern.

Vehicle crashes into southside Des Moines home
DES MOINES, Iowa — Police are investigating after a car crashed into a house Tuesday afternoon on Des Moines' south side. The crash happened around 12:15 p.m. at the T intersection of Army Post Road and SW 18th Street, just east of the Des Moines International Airport.
