Harry Maguire's wife throws support behind footballer husband as Man United WAG joins rowdy fans for beers in Bilbao ahead of Europa League final

Daily Mail21-05-2025

Harry Maguire 's wife Fern has posted an update from Bilbao, where she has flown to support her husband ahead of Wednesday night's Europa League final.
She flew out to the Spanish city prior to the game taking place, with it being held at Athletic Club's San Mames stadium.
Fern, 30, was seen in of the city's main squares along with a hoard of Manchester United fans who she joined for beers as she wore an Adidas bucket hat featuring the phrase 'I ❤️ Harry'.
She posted another image with the caption 'supporting bae always x'.
She was also pictured in a group photo posted to Instagram by Harry's sister Daisy, as many of the players' families convened before the match.
Former Red Devils captain Maguire married Fern (née Hawkins) in 2022 in a ceremony in the south of France, with the pair having been engaged since 2018.
Fern is a qualified physiotherapist but it was previously reported earlier that she was planning a career change due to her passion for floristry.
In April last year, The Sun reported that she was keen to arrange flower displays for weddings and parties organised by A-list celebrities.
A source close to Fern - who confirmed that she had undertaken private floristry tuition to aid her business goals, said: 'She's always worked and is a physio by trade, but she is really excited by this.
'She's always had an eye for creativity and a passion to build her own business.
'She wants to hit the celebrity wedding market as the go-to brand.'
She has also set up a private Instagram account for her business named @saintrosefloristry, which currently has 20 post and 387 followers.
Like Harry, she is from Sheffield, with the pair having met when they were teenagers - when Fern was 16 and Harry was played in Sheffield United's youth team aged 18.
The couple have two daughters together, Lillie, born in April 2019, and Piper, born in May 2020.
Outside of her relationship with Harry and being a mother to two girls, Fern also obtained a Bachelor's degree in science and physiotherapy, graduating in 2017 with First Class Honours.

Palace chief 'sets price' to sell stake as club sweat on Europa League fate

Crystal Palace shareholder John Textor is ready to offload his stake in the Londoners in order to ensure they are able to compete in the Europa League next season John Textor is said to be prepared to sell his stake in Crystal Palace for less than market value in a bid to ensure that the FA Cup winners are able to compete in the Europa League next season. The American, 59, holds a 43 per cent stake in Palace via Eagle Football Holdings but the company also holds a stake in Lyon, who have also qualified for Europe next term. Textor's involvement at both clubs has led to scrutiny from UEFA, who are set to rule on whether or not the Eagles can feature in the competition later this month. ‌ Textor and Steve Parish, the Palace chairman, met with Uefa officials last week in a bid to persuade them that the former's 25 per cent voting rights means he is not, in fact, a person of influence at Selhurst Park. ‌ But with Palace still facing the threat of missing out on Europe altogether it has now emerged that Textor is willing to offload his stake in the club for a lower price. The Times report that Textor offloading his stake is seen as the most viable way to resolve the matter with a potential sale to his Palace cohorts a possibility. American co-owners Josh Harris and David Blitzer have matching 18 per cent stakes and a sale to them, if viable, is seen as the 'simplest outcome' for all parties. The report adds that sources close to Textor feel the outlined price of £170million is significantly less than he would stand to recoup otherwise given the club's current market value. Textor's involvement at both Palace and Lyon has caused unrest in the Premier League, too, in light of Uefa's recent meeting over the former's Europa League fate. ‌ It emerged earlier this week that Nottingham Forest have written to the authorities to express concern given the multi-club ownership rules that are in place. Forest would stand to profit if Palace were expelled from the Europa League; they are currently set to participate in the Europa Conference League as a reward for their stellar 2024-25 campaign, where they finished seventh in the Premier League. Even if Textor is successful in selling his stake there are concerns that the case could make its way to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, further muddying the waters surrounding Palace and their fate. Textor did attempt to put his shares into blind a trust to enable Palace to compete in Europe next season - an act other club chiefs have done - but Uefa ruled their attempts were too late, citing a deadline of March 1.

Love Island stars are back together just one week after splitting for the second time as they 'can't live without each other'

Love Island stars Ronnie Vint and Harriet Blackmore have reportedly got back together just a week after calling it quits. Semi-professional footballer Ronnie, 28, and dancer Harriett, 25 - who initially met on Love Island last summer - split for a second time last week. The couple met during the 2024 summer series but split soon after being dumped from the villa. They then reunited on January's All Stars and gave their romance a second go. Last week it was reported the stars had deleted all traces of each other of social media, and Ronnie was linked to an influencer in Ibiza, in a sign they had broken up for a second time. But according to The Sun the stars are back on just a week later after rekindling their romance yet again. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. A source said: 'Harriett and Ronnie are speaking again and getting back together. 'They're so on and off - it's like they row when they're together but can't live without each other.' MailOnline has reached out to Ronnie and Harriet's representatives for comment. Ronnie had reportedly been getting to know social media influencer Lauren Watson - who boats 153k followers - after claims they were seen flirting in Ibiza earlier last week following the news he had split from Harriet. Ronnie was at the launch of the Unexpected Hotel on the Spanish island on Tuesday, and he is said to have spent most of it 'flirting with Lauren.' It's thought that the pair already follow each other on social media. A source told The Sun: 'Ronnie looked really into Lauren, and certainly wasn't spending his time pining over Harriett. 'He's always had an eye for the ladies, so it was no surprise that Lauren caught his attention.' Ronnie and Harriet deleted all traces of each other from social media following their shock split. They met on Love Island last summer but struggled to make their relationship work outside of the villa. It wasn't until Harriett surprised Ronnie as a bombshell arrival on All Stars in January that the couple reconnected, hoping to commit to each other for the long term. But after fiery rows in Ibiza, they have called it quits, just months after failing to make the All Stars final. A source told MailOnline: 'It's true that Ronnie and Harriett have ended their romance, they have tried to make it work but the arguments between them made it difficult.' An insider added: 'There has been a lot of love between Ronnie and Harriett, but they have always been a fiery couple and in the end, they struggled to see eye to eye. 'On Wednesday night, they flew back from a trip to Ibiza and decided they are better off not together and right now, they're not even prepared to be friends. 'They have unfollowed each other on Instagram, which isn't the first time, but the feeling is it's over now for good.' Ronnie, who's close friends with former Love Island star Olivia Attwood and her husband Bradley Dack, met dancer Harriett on the ITV2 series last summer. But the pair's romance was short-lived after Ronnie strayed, leaving Harriett devastated.
