Kajol is all set to come back with a bang on the big screens. Her performances are loved on screen, and this time the actress will be seen in a whole new avatar in a horror movie. The movie Maa is set to hit the big screens on June 27. As the promotional events of the movie kick-started, Kajol opened up about several anecdotes which shook everyone and at the same time made them laugh too. The actress revealed the pros and cons of working with husband Ajay Devgn.
In another conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Kajol jokingly said, 'What should I say about this producer? He has harassed and troubled me a lot! No one will believe it (laughs).' However, after this fun joke, she immediately became serious and said, 'No, he was a great producer. I have to say this.'
Kajol recalled a special conversation with Ajay, where they talked about gender roles. She said, 'My husband Ajay ji once told me that you are very lucky. You don't know how lucky you are. You can become Nysa's friend. You will also become a grandmother one day. You are a mother. You have been my wife. You have played all these roles very well and naturally. You did not have to make any special effort. But today, being a man, I have to work hard to play all these roles.' Kajol further said, 'Women are taught this since childhood. We adjust so easily.'
Coming back to the trailer of Maa, this is the first horror movie of Kajol. Interestingly, the film is a mythological horror film. Kajol stars alongside Ronit Roy, Indraneil Sengupta, and Kherin Sharma.
Directed by Vishal Furia and written by Aamil Keeyan Khan and Saiwyn Quadras, Maa is produced by Kajol's husband, Ajay Devgn. Kajol is also involved in other projects, including The Trial Season 2.
