Football fans are accustomed to changing channels if they want to watch games. After all, the NFL eagerly slices up its schedule to sell matchups to CBS, FOX, and NBC. With the popularity of streaming video services, there's room for another company to get in on the gridiron competition. And few companies are more powerful than Amazon.
Prime Video has the exclusive rights to stream Thursday Night Football until 2033. Prime Video costs $8.99 per month, or you can get it as part of your larger Amazon Prime subscription for $14.99 per month or $139 per year (there are no extra fees for NFL streaming). If you want to see the new NFL rookie class in action or the Philadelphia Eagles' attempt at a Super Bowl repeat, check out everything you need to know about streaming Thursday Night Football.
Finding streaming-exclusive NFL games shouldn't be too complicated for most viewers. Instead of hopping to a specific traditional broadcast channel, simply fire up the Prime Video app downloaded to your smart TV or media streaming device.
You can also watch Thursday Night Football on Twitch, the Amazon-owned live-streaming platform (unfortunately, the app isn't available on Roku TVs). You can stream the games live or check out the replay afterward.
Amazon's Thursday Night Football covers the 16 games listed below, as well as an undisclosed NFL Wild Card game on either January 10 or 11, 2026.
9/11 Washington Commanders versus Green Bay Packers
9/18 Miami Dolphins versus Buffalo Bills
9/25 Seattle Seahawks versus Arizona Cardinals
10/2 San Francisco 49ers versus Los Angeles Rams
10/9 Philadelphia Eagles versus New York Giants
10/16 Pittsburgh Steelers versus Cincinnati Bengals
10/23 Minnesota Vikings versus Los Angeles Chargers
10/30 Baltimore Ravens versus Miami Dolphins
11/6 Las Vegas Raiders versus Denver Broncos
11/13 New York Jets versus New England Patriots
11/20 Buffalo Bills versus Houston Texans
11/28 Chicago Bears versus Philadelphia Eagles
12/4 Dallas Cowboys versus Detroit Lions
12/11 Atlanta Falcons versus Tampa Bay Buccaneers
12/18 Los Angeles Rams versus Seattle Seahawks
12/25 Denver Broncos versus Kansas City Chiefs
You can also enjoy pregame, halftime, and postgame entertainment led by broadcasters Al Michaels and Kirk Herbstreit. The pregame starts at 7 p.m. EST, and you can view cool matchup details via Prime Vision with Next Gen Stats once the game starts. Naturally, Amazon's stream encourages you to buy plenty of NFL merchandise from the Amazon store.
A VPN lets you virtually travel the world by spoofing your geographic location. So, if you want to watch Thursday Night Football from outside the US, perhaps from a country that calls the NFL American football, a VPN is theoretically your best bet. However, Prime Video is one of the many major streaming services that block VPN traffic due to licensing deals. Watching Thursday Night Football on Twitch may be a workaround worth investigating.

You probably missed this rom-com gem when it debuted — but it's on Prime Video now

Catching "A Guy Thing" for the first time changed how I feel about settling on random movies. I had no idea what it was about, didn't read its plot summary and had no idea what to expect. I'm glad I went in blind, though, because it's now a huge favorite of mine. Why? It's a simple rom-com that doesn't take itself too seriously, and it's all the better for it. When I was in the mood for something light and romantic, it called to me like a siren's song in a sea of samey romance movies. Jason Lee? A screwball premise? I was in immediately, and I'm glad I gave it a chance. Directed by Chris Koch, this early 2000s comedy follows a straight-laced groom-to-be who wakes up next to his fiancée's cousin after a wild bachelor party. What follows is a chain reaction of increasingly absurd cover-ups. And of course, it has that same kind of breezy pacing you'd expect as a product of the time. "A Guy Thing" is exactly the sort of under-the-radar comfort movie that doesn't get talked about much anymore, but probably should. If you're curious, you're in luck: It's streaming right now on Prime Video. Paul (Jason Lee) is a groom-to-be who wakes up the morning after his bachelor party next to Becky (Julia Stiles), a woman he doesn't recognize. No problem, right? Wrong. Becky is his fiancée Karen's (Selma Blair) cousin. But instead of coming clean like any upstanding man might do, Paul decides to try to hide what happened. As you can imagine, that goes absolutely terribly for him. And in true rom-com fashion, this one faux pas kicks off a chain of unnecessary cover-ups, lies and awkward situations that make it all even worse in the end than if he had tried to be upfront about the situation. One bad decision snowballs into a full-blown mess that involves Paul's nosy friends, his suspicious in-laws and a wedding date that's coming up fast. The more Paul tries to fix things, the more hilariously off the rails everything goes. And you want to feel bad for him. You really do. But you really can't just write this transgression off, especially given Becky's proximity to Paul's betrothed. Surely Paul is aware of the family members surrounding the woman he's about to marry. Of course, Becky plays a role in all this as well, as you'd think she has some sort of grasp on who her dear cousin is marrying. But those are questions we shouldn't think about while watching Paul spiral out of control, hilariously so. Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. Most of "A Guy Thing" is a series of scenes involving bad luck and slapstick comedy. If that's your thing, you'll settle right in. You'll watch Paul scramble to hide a stray thong from his fiancée, bluff his way through an excruciating dinner with her parents, and survive a Hawaiian-themed dance lesson without blowing his cover. Then you'll check the calendar, because are these things actually happening in a movie you're watching in 2025? No, because this is the power of the classic 2000s rom-com. And you should let it wash over you. The idiocy expands to grocery store chases, public proposals, and encounters with a very determined (and annoying) private investigator. Still, there are some more introspective moments where Paul and Becky connect over the fact that neither of them really fits into the boxes people have built for them. "A Guy Thing" might seem like another wedding-week rom-com, but it has a knack for squeezing some feel-good humor out of specific, escalating disasters instead of silly, tired clichés. Hopefully, however, it'll convince someone out there to tell the truth instead of raking themselves over the coals. If that's the kind of vibe you're looking for instead of weepy drama and love lasting over time immemorial, park it and take in this fun little flick. It's free, after all. Bears Witnessing Shocking Development At Left Tackle Spot

The Bears knew they had to improve the offensive line this offseason after Caleb Williams got sacked a league-high 68 times in 2024. As a result, the team made several moves, including letting Teven Jenkins leave in free agency while adding Joe Thuney, Drew Dalman, and Jonah Jackson to start at the interior spots. At right tackle, former first-round pick Darnell Wright remains entrenched, but the left tackle spot is up for grabs. Braxton Jones started at that spot in 2024 and delivered mixed results. Jones earned a solid Pro Football Focus grade, but was penalized seven times and allowed five sacks. As a result, the team is holding an open competition at the spot, and several guys are in the mix. 2025 second-round pick Ozzy Trapilo has seen some first-team snaps, and many were expected 2024 third-rounder Kiran Amegadjie to factor in as well, but that hasn't really happened due to Amegadjie having some injury issues this summer. Instead, a surprising player has recently been getting some starter snaps at left tackle- Theo Benedet. The Canadian offensive lineman has been a star of camp, and rotated with the starters on Wednesday with Jones. Trapilo, meanwhile, was at right tackle with the second-string offense. Offensive line coach Dan Roushar offered a glowing review of Benedet's work. 'There's a lot of things to really like about Theo. He's had probably as much improvement as any player we have in the group,' said Roushar. 'With that, there's a lot of things for him to improve on and he knows that and we've gotta work on it. He is working his tail off. He has put himself in a position to go compete for a job somewhere in this group.' Jones should still be viewed as the favorite to start due to how raw Benedet is. However, Benedet is now the favorite to land the backup left tackle spot, while Trapilo should be the backup right tackle. As a result, Amegadjie could find himself on the chopping block soon unless he quickly gets healthy and regains favor. Bears offensive coordinator defends Caleb Williams amid recent criticism

Caleb Williams is entering a pivotal second season with the Chicago Bears. The 2024 No.1 overall pick had an underwhelming rookie campaign, but is in a better situation this year with Ben Johnson at head coach. With Williams under a lot of pressure heading into 2025, fans and media are watching his every move. For instance, the USC product received some criticism from multiple national media members for not playing in Chicago's preseason opener versus the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. 'My take is everybody but Tom Brady played this weekend and Caleb Williams didn't,' FOX Sports' Colin Cowherd said of Williams not playing in the preseason. 'He's not quite there. We're asking him to do stuff under center, and it was strategic in not playing him. ' Williams has also caught some heat due to a viral video of him struggling in a drill at practice, which caused him to get frustrated with himself. Though Williams has a lot of doubters and adversity to face this year, his offensive coordinator still has confidence in him. First-year Bears offensive coordinator Declan Doyle defended his quarterback during a recent interview and praised him for his work ethic. 'He [Williams] works at. He works at it really hard,' Doyle said on the NFL Spotlight With Ari Meirov. 'It's important to him, and I've seen him progress from spring to right now. He's going to continue to progress as he continues to stress himself and grow.' 'He's very attentive in media roomings. He wants to get it right. He wants to be a great quarterback.' It's great to hear Doyle defending Williams and instilling a vote of confidence in his young quarterback. Doyle served as the tight ends coach of the Denver Broncos in 2023 and 2024, so he was around quarterback Bo Nix during his spectacular rookie season in 2024. If Williams can continue and progress, he'll take a step in the right direction in 2025. The 23-year-old has all the talent and tools necessary to be a franchise quarterback, and just needs to block out the noise.
