The Sun is keeping the identity of the axed cast quiet to preserve the surprise for viewers, but can reveal that the mass dumping included two OG stars.
The scenes will play out over the next few episodes.
A source said: 'Everyone knows a dumping comes after a public vote but no one expected it to be a double eviction.
'The four Islanders have already left the villa but will be much missed by the cast and viewers alike, as they have all been a big part of the drama.
'Viewers haven't played it safe with their choices either and have really swung the axe.'
It comes as some of the show's strongest couples have hit the rocks weeks before the final.
Last night Meg exploded at Andrada for listening to her chat with Dejon, after the pair got very flirty in Casa Amor.
And Casa Amor girl Lauren was in floods of tears when Harrison snuck off to the terrace with Toni.
But Love Island fans were completely obsessed as Toni recreated an iconic Ekin-Su moment.
She crawled across the terrace to speak to Harrison after the dramatic movie night twist.

She also admitted she was "happier" with Harrison - despite being in a romantic couple with Cacherel 'Cach' Mercer.

Love Island bosses have also been clearing the decks as the ITV2 show final draws closer.
Last week Maya Jama hosted a very dramatic evening as SIX Islanders ended up being brutally dumped in the wake of Casa Amor.
Rheo, Emily, Gio, Yaz, Chris and Martin pack their bags after failing to find lasting connections during Casa.
During the cull, host Maya Jama was praised for calling out Harry and Helena for laughing at Harry's Casa Amor antics.

Love Island's Lauren Wood hits out at critics of relationship with Harrison
The star spilled the goss on her relationship with Harrison, who left the villa to be with her. Love Island's Lauren Wood has taken part in her first interview since her dramatic exit from the villa which ended in the star convincing Harrison to leave the series. The 26-year-old dog walker bid farewell to the villa on Friday July 18 after an unexpected turn of events saw her partner Ty Isherwood snatched away by newcomer Angel Swift. Despite enduring a chaotic relationship with 22-year-old footballer Harrison, Lauren attempted to rekindle their romance as she prepared to leave, urging him to exit the show with her. Following a good long think, Harrison decided to follow Lauren out of the villa after a 10-minute speech that took up a sizeable chunk of the episode. Lauren has since spoken out about their relationship, expressing that she is "100 per cent" willing to give their love another chance, despite Harrison's past indiscretions, reports OK! "I see myself being with him long-term as I haven't had a connection like that with someone in such a long time," she revealed. "I know what we had was real despite what everyone else thinks. He has done wrong and made stupid mistakes, but he knows that and believes it was the wrong thing to do." Lauren also mentioned that before her departure, Harrison took the time to sit with her and Toni to openly discuss his feelings. Regardless of residing in Miami, the reality star expressed his dedication to maintaining a long-distance romance with Lauren after walking from the show. "We'll make the distance work! It will be no issue. We left on good terms but the two days prior to leaving we weren't talking properly so it would be good to have a conversation, get everything out in the open and hopefully move forward from there," he explained. "I feel very strongly about the girl, I wouldn't have left if I didn't. I have no doubt in my mind that she'll be my girlfriend one day. I'm buzzing to see her and reunite! She's such a great girl."

Love Island villa heats up as racy snogging challenge returns TONIGHT and tensions erupt
THE villa gets steamy tonight as Love Island's annual Snogathon challenge returns. And the fallout from all the kissing creates some serious divisions between the islanders. 9 9 9 9 As seen in the first look snaps from the action, which airs this evening (Sunday) on ITV2, the lads are blindfolded and wearing headphones while the girls make their way down the line and smooch each of them in turn. The boys then rate each snog out of ten, leading to inevitable jealousies erupting. The action begins when Emma gets a text informing the islanders about the impending challenge, "Islanders, pucker up and prepare to bring the passion. It's time to find out who's the ultimate snogger in today's kissing competition #LipsDontLie #SnogLikeYouMeanit," reads the message, After each boy is kissed, he must rate the smooch out of ten, with the highest score determining the winner. Between rounds, the music in the headphones is stopped so the boys can hear how each other scored the snogs. Toni hosts the game and takes note of the scores on a blackboard, while Yasmin is first off the mark. But while she is well-received by most of the lads, Dejon's feedback stops her in her tracks. 'That kiss was two words… no good. Zero out of ten," he says, brutally, leaving everyone reeling. 'Are you not participating in today's game?' Toni fires back, taking Dejon to task. While The Sun won't spoil the results of the task, we can reveal Yasmin is not only upset over Dejon's feedback, but also Jamie getting handsy with the other girls. 'What the f*** am I watching?' she exclaims, clearly unimpressed. And she's not the only one who's unhappy, as Helena is less than pleased too. Later, Yasmin dissects Dejon's upsetting remarks at the firepit with pals Toni and Shakira. Yasmin fumes: 'We all saw what happened in the challenge today with Dejon. In a lot of these scenarios he goes on the attack straight away. 9 9 9 9 "His comments were just rude and he didn't need to be that nasty. He's obviously trying to play things safe because he's exclusive with Meg… I'm going to speak to him.' She then takes Dejon to one side for a chat, but will they be able to resolve their issues? Meanwhile, Emma is also frustrated with Cach after the kissing task. She vents: 'Why does he behave like that? I just don't get it, he's such bad vibes all round.'
