Taylor Swift Is Reportedly Already Working On New Music
Taylor Swift is always hard at work on new music, no matter what else she has going on at the moment. The singer-songwriter is certainly gearing up for her next major musical chapter, and work on another collection of some kind seems to have already started – at least, if a recent comment from a Swedish DJ is to be believed.
In a new interview originally posted by Universal Music Sweden, Jacob Criborn, one-half of the production duo Nause, appeared to casually reveal that he's been involved in Swift's latest recording efforts. While discussing recent collaborations, Criborn mentioned working with multi-instrumentalist Erik Arvinder on a composition featuring a wide range of sounds, including both string and wind instruments. Then, almost as an aside, he added in his language, "Vi ska bara göra klart Taylor Swift's platta." For those who don't speak Swedish, that reportedly translates to, "We're just finishing Taylor Swift's album."
The quote was quickly flagged by fans on social media, as nothing connected to the superstar misses her eagle-eyed following. The X account TSUpdating – one of many fan-focused profiles on the site – shared the clip, turning it into a trending topic in no time.
It's unclear whether Criborn was referring to a full-length collection of brand new songs or if he might be contributing to one of Swift's forthcoming re-releases. At this point, she still has two left to unveil: her self-titled debut and Reputation.
Swift hasn't officially announced anything yet, and her team is staying quiet. That's typically the case. She has no need to confirm or deny anything until she's ready to roll out another masterful marketing plan – but even the possibility of new material is enough to send fans into a frenzy.
It's only been about a year since Swift released her most recent album, The Tortured Poets Department, but that doesn't necessarily mean she's taking a break. That set, which debuted to massive first-week numbers, appears to have largely wrapped up its promotional cycle. None of its singles are still charting in the U.S., though the project itself continues to do well.
If Criborn's comment turns out to be accurate, this could be the earliest confirmation yet that Swift is already deep into her next phase. Of course, the phrase 'finishing Taylor Swift's album' could mean a lot of things — especially in an industry where timelines are always shifting. Whether it's a new studio album, another Taylor's Version, or even just a cut for a separate soundtrack or feature, fans are, of course, excited to hear whatever it may be.

Trump Pits 'Woke' Taylor Swift Against Sydney Sweeney, Saying Pop Star Is for 'Losers' and Calling Sweeney's Ad the 'Hottest'
Hours after Trump learned that Sweeney is registered as a Republican, he took to Truth Social to contrast his appreciation for the actress with his "hate" for SwiftNEED TO KNOW Donald Trump pitted Taylor Swift and Sydney Sweeney against each other in a Truth Social post that praised Sweeney's career and slammed Swift as "no longer hot" After calling Sweeney's controversial American Eagle campaign the "hottest" ad, Trump wrote, "Being WOKE is for losers, being Republican is what you want to be" Trump previously expressed support for Sweeney in front of news cameras when a reporter informed him on Sunday, Aug. 3, that the actress is a registered RepublicanDonald Trump is pitting Sydney Sweeney and Taylor Swift against each other by casting them as opposing sides of the celebrity coin. When Trump discovered that Sweeney is a registered Republican while speaking with reporters on Sunday, Aug. 3, he praised the actress and her controversial American Eagle campaign, which has come under fire for its perceived problematic undertones. In a Truth Social post on Monday morning, the president took his newfound affection for Sweeney a step further by contrasting his appreciation for the actress with his "hate" for Swift, who backed Democrat Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election. "Sydney Sweeney, a registered Republican, has the 'HOTTEST' ad out there. It's for American Eagle, and the jeans are 'flying off the shelves.' Go get 'em Sydney!" he wrote on Aug. 4. After slamming ads from other companies like Bud Lite and Jaguar — which Trump described as "woke" — the president then shifted the conversation to Swift, who has become a frequent target of his anger over the past year. "Just look at Woke singer Taylor Swift," he wrote in the post. "Ever since I alerted the world as to what she was by saying on TRUTH that I can't stand her (HATE!). She was booed out of the Super Bowl and became, NO LONGER HOT." He continued: "The tide has seriously turned — Being WOKE is for losers, being Republican is what you want to be. Thank you for your attention to this matter!" The president's modern criticism of Swift escalated after she endorsed Harris for president in September 2024. The endorsement prompted Trump to post: "I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!" Despite Trump's attempts to turn his MAGA followers against Swift, the president's granddaughter Arabella remained a fan of the "Blank Space" singer, even celebrating her 13th birthday with mom Ivanka at the Eras Tour in October. Sweeney's party preference was first reported by Buzzfeed News amid the backlash from her controversial new partnership with American Eagle, though the actress has not commented on her political affiliation or spoken publicly in support of Trump. The AE ad campaign — called "Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans" — played off the word "genes," with critics claiming that it suggested she was genetically superior in the way that it highlighted her blonde hair and blue eyes. The jeans campaign also drew comparisons to Brooke Shields' controversial Calvin Klein ad from 1980. Shields' age (she was 15 at the time) ruffled feathers due to the commercial's provocative tagline: "You want to know what comes between me and my Calvins? Nothing." It also featured similar messaging about passing down characteristics from generation to generation. Read the original article on People

Beyoncé May Be Just One Tour Away From Making History
Beyoncé has once again shown that she's not only one of the biggest names in music, but also one of the most formidable forces in live entertainment. With the Cowboy Carter Tour now officially finished, the superstar is even closer hitting one of the rarest milestones in concert history. The Cowboy Carter Tour Grosses Over $400 Million According to Billboard Boxscore, Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter Tour brought in $407.6 million from 1.6 million tickets sold. The country trek was a commercial juggernaut, and its closing sum pushes her career touring gross to more than $1.75 billion. With less than $250 million to go, she's within arm's reach of becoming one of the only artists in history to cross the $2 billion mark in reported touring revenue. Several names, including Taylor Swift, have already managed to pass that massive figure. Back-to-Back Blockbuster Tours The Cowboy Carter Tour ranks as Beyoncé's second-highest-grossing run, trailing only her previous venture, the Renaissance World Tour. That run closed with a record-breaking $579.8 million. Together, the two back-to-back treks have become career-defining moments, and some of the most successful concert tours of all time. A Member of Touring's Most Elite Club With her latest success, Beyoncé becomes the first woman and just the fourth artist overall—t have multiple tours pass the $400 million mark. She joins the exclusive ranks of The Rolling Stones, Coldplay, and Ed Sheeran, cementing her place among the most bankable live acts of all time. Solo Tours Power Her Rise While Beyoncé has certainly found success in collaborations, especially her joint tours with Jay-Z and early career outings with Missy Elliott and Alicia Keys, it's her solo headlining treks that have generated the majority of her touring revenue. From Dangerously in Love to Renaissance, her six solo tours have ranked among her highest-grossing and most far-reaching. The Final Push May Be Coming Soon Bey's Cowboy Carter is the second installment in a planned album trilogy that began with Renaissance. With the third act expected as early as 2026, fans are already wondering whether she'll embark on another stadium-filling tour. If such a venture – which has not been announced – performs on par with her last two, another $300–$400 million in grosses could be enough to push Beyoncé past the $2 billion milestone, possibly by 2027.

The father of Travis, 35, and Jason Kelce, 37, shared a throwback picture of himself posing with Taylor Swift and Maguire, who died on Aug. 1 at age 74. Uploaded to her obituary page, the image pictured Ed and Maureen smiling alongside Travis' girlfriend Swift. The trio are decked out in Kansas City Chiefs attire in support of the star tight end's team. Swift, who wore a Chiefs crewneck sweatshirt, is seen holding up a friendship bracelet in one hand and a card that reads "Taylor Swift" in the other. Ed and Maureen, who were standing next to the pop superstar in the photo, wore jerseys with Travis' number 87 on them. In February 2024, Ed shared in an interview with the Los Angeles Times how Maureen had been getting to know Swift. He revealed a funny interaction between the pair shortly after they met. While Swift, 35, was posing for a picture with Ed, Maureen joked, "Hey, that's my boyfriend," to which the singer laughed. In January 2024, Ed revealed on Audacy's 92.3 The Fan in Cleveland how he couldn't recall Swift's name during an early interaction at Travis' home and Maguire had to remind him of who she was. "When Travis has a lot of friends coming into town to go to the game, everyone meets at his house, although he's not there,' Ed said on the show, noting that there can often be up to 20 people there before a home game. 'They have a shuttle that comes and picks everybody up and takes them to the game," said Ed, who went on to say that he had probably met some of those in attendance "but cannot for the life of me picture, remember who they are." "And Taylor comes in, walks in with a security guard and I look at her ... and I had my girlfriend with me and I mention to Maureen, 'Oh, my God, I know this kid but I don't know what her name is.' Geez, you know, like a real idiot,' he shared. Maureen then said to him, he recalled, "'You don't know her? This is Taylor Swift, you idiot.' " On Aug. 2, Ed announced the news that Maureen had died by sharing a link to an obituary on his personal Facebook page. According to the obituary, Maureen "passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones" and described her as a 'devoted mother' with "impeccable taste." Ed was described as Maguire's "beloved friend," with the obituary noting how she would attend games with the devoted football dad. "She also grew an unexpected love for football later in life, sharing many laughs and adventures with her beloved friend Ed Kelce and her loyal dog Butch," the obituary from Stretch Funeral Home in the suburbs of Philadelphia read. "Together, they traveled often and attended football games and concerts, and embraced every opportunity to enjoy life to the fullest," it continued. Maureen was also described as a "natural hostess," per the obituary. "She was famous for throwing the best parties, always full of warmth, laughter, and unforgettable food." Ed was married to Jason and Travis' mom Donna Kelce for 25 years after they wed in the late '70s. They divorced in 2011, and Ed explained that they had stayed together for their sons. 'If we had split as we probably both would have preferred, that would have been a nightmare with the logistics, getting kids where they had to be and providing all the support,' Ed explains in the 2023 documentary Kelce. Per the obituary, Maureen leaves behind three children, six grandchildren, her brother John and her sister Loretta. Read the original article on People
