Strengthening Partnerships between Sports Clubs
The cultural competition is part of the SSC summer vacation activities. It coincides with Dibba Al Hisn Club's commitment to supporting purposeful knowledge initiatives and strengthening partnerships between sports clubs in the emirate by providing interactive platforms that combine education and entertainment, instilling in participants the concepts of teamwork, belonging, and individual and collective excellence.
The competition was held in an atmosphere brimming with energy and positive competition. The event saw an outstanding level of attendance and organisation, with the Al Hamriyah Sports and Cultural Club team winning first place and the championship title.
Big Turnout
Al Batayeh Sports and Cultural Club came in second, and Al Madam Sports and Cultural Club took third place. This followed a series of intellectual and competitive rounds that combined general culture, sports knowledge, and collective intelligence.
The event saw a remarkable attendance, led by Sheikh Khalid bin Faisal Al Qasimi, member of SSC Supervisory and Implementation Committee; His Excellency Mohammed Hassan Al Dhahouri, member of the Federal National Council (FNC) and member of the Arab Parliament; His Excellency Ahmed Abdullah bin Yarouf Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Dibba Al Hisn Municipal Council; His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Al Tarban, Chairman of the Dibba Al Hisn Football Club; His Excellency Bakhit Saeed Saif Al Qurs, Director of the Sports and Community Events Department at the Sharjah Sports Council; and Ahmed Al Salman, Director of the "Our Holiday is Different" programme. Also present were several SSC members, the club's board of directors, and the company, as well as community and sports figures from Dibba Al Hisn.
Developing Youth Capabilities
His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Al Tarban emphasised that organising this competition embodies SSC vision of developing the capabilities of young people and honing their intellectual and athletic skills. He noted that the club always prioritises improving the quality of summer programs and creating a stimulating and safe environment that makes a difference in building confident and creative generations. Al Tarban added that Dibba Al Hisn Club is proud to host this unique event, which reflects the spirit of cooperation and integration among the emirate's clubs. The club believes that excellence lies not only in the playing fields, but also in developing minds and unleashing the latent potential of our youth.
Recognition
The participants and club representatives expressed their appreciation for the excellent hosting and organisation, commending the pioneering role played by Dibba Al Hisn Club in supporting summer events and community activities that contribute to strengthening relationships between clubs and raising the level of cultural interaction among youth, which positively reflects the clubs' presence in the educational and social arena.

Through these activities, Dibba Al Hisn Club continues to promote its vision of creating a safe, educational, and engaging summer environment—blending culture, learning, and sport to nurture a generation with strong community values and a sense of belonging. The week's events included an art workshop titled 'Cup Painting' led by artist Maryam Abdulrahman Al Hammoudi, in collaboration with the Sharjah Institute for Heritage – Dibba Al Hisn branch. Participants explored the beauty of Emirati folk art and learned how to use traditional symbols in their creative expression, while decorating cups with personal and cultural motifs. In addition, a Quran recitation workshop was held in the club's mosque, in collaboration with the Sharjah Islamic Affairs Office. Delivered by Sheikh Mohammed Oglad, the session taught participants correct pronunciation, articulation rules, and the fundamentals of Tajweed, aiming to deepen their religious understanding and Quranic knowledge in an interactive setting. The week also included traditional and sports activities such as football, swimming, chess, and carrom. These not only developed the children's physical and mental skills but also encouraged teamwork, healthy competition, and cooperation in a safe and motivating space. At the end of the week, His Excellency Dr Mohammed Ahmed Al Matoua, Chairman of the Dibba Al Hisn Cultural and Sports Club, honoured a number of outstanding and committed participants in recognition of their active engagement and consistent attendance. He praised the organising team for their efforts in ensuring the success of the third week and achieving its educational and cultural goals.

A Visit to Sharjah Classic Cars Club The Dibba Al Hisn Club's Summer Activities Department organised a unique cultural visit to the Sharjah Classic Cars Club and the Sharjah Heritage Museum. These activities embody the Dibba Al Hisn Club's commitment to integrating educational and cultural values within a purposeful entertainment framework that consolidates national identity and enhances community belonging, contributing to the development of generations aware of their history, proud of their heritage, and committed to their ethics. During the tour, participants were introduced to the treasures of Emirati heritage. At the Classic Cars Club, they viewed a rare collection of classic vehicles that embody the development of transportation in the UAE. They were also briefed on the importance of these collectibles in preserving the nation's memory and the history of its civilisation. Sharjah Heritage Museum At the Sharjah Heritage Museum, participants embarked on an interactive cultural experience, exploring traditional Emirati environments and learning about ancient customs, traditions, and everyday life, enhancing their deep understanding of national identity.
