Rihanna reveals her sons 'both love music'

Rihanna's sons "love music".
The 37-year-old star has Riot, 23 months, and RZA, three, with rapper A$AP Rocky, and Rihanna admits that her sons have already developed a passion for music.
The chart-topping singer told E! News: "Both of them love music. Like it's insane because I'm like, 'Is that me or is that you, Rocky?' They love instruments. They love music."
Rihanna suggested that Rocky is the biggest musical influence on at least one of her sons, revealing that Riot has already developed a love of freestyling.
The Work hitmaker - who is currently pregnant with her third child - shared: "That's definitely a Rocky thing, not me."
Rihanna has relished the challenge of raising her sons, but she recently confessed that she's "always wanted" a baby girl.
The singer has remained tight-lipped about the sex of her unborn child, although she admitted that she'd love to have a little girl one day.
Asked about the sex of her unborn baby, Rihanna told Extra: "You have to wait and see. Oh, my gosh, are you guys going to be so hurt if it's a boy?'
Extra's Terri Seymour then replied: "I think we're secretly hoping you have a girl … because you've got your two sweet, sweet boys."
Rihanna subsequently admitted that she'd love to have a baby girl.
She explained: "I've always wanted a girl. God knows best, right? And I love my boys."
Rihanna also confirmed that her unborn baby's name will begin with the letter R, describing it as a family "tradition".
She said: "I mean, of course. It's tradition at this point."
Rihanna has enjoyed huge success with make-up and lingerie brands, having put her music career on the back-burner in recent years.
However, the singer confessed in 2024 that motherhood has changed her entire approach to fashion and style.
Speaking to Interview magazine, she explained: "It's more like I spend my time getting the kids dressed to death, and then I'm like, 'What's the most comfortable outfit to wear around them? What's not going to feel uncomfortable on their face or on their body or make me feel like I can't hold them properly?' Moms are lazy dressers in real life."

Mandy Moore and family 'doing well' after home was damaged in Los Angeles wildfires

Mandy Moore and her family are "doing well" after their home was left badly damaged in the Los Angeles wildfires earlier this year. The This Is Us actress' co-star Chrissy Metz has shared that although it was a "life-altering" experience for Mandy - who has Gus, four, Oscar, three, and Louise, 10 months, with musician husband Taylor Goldsmith - and her young family, fortunately, most of the structure of the property was "salvaged". She told Extra: 'She's doing well. I mean, thank goodness. 'A lot of the structure was able to be salvaged, which is great, but it's so jarring. It's so life-altering, and she has children and pets. It's just frightening because there's nothing you can do but hopefully get out of there.' Chrissy says she keeps in touch with all of her co-stars from the hit NBC drama - the cast of which also included Milo Ventimiglia, Justin Hartley, Susan Kelechi Watson, and Chris Sullivan. She said: "Oh, my gosh, everybody. We all are texting each other. I always text when any projects come out or Sterling with his nominations for 'Paradise.'' Chrissy added of Sterling K. Brown (her onscreen sibling): 'Oh, he's the best. I really feel like he's a big brother for me.' Chrissy's update on her co-star comes after Mandy recently paid tribute to her mother-in-law Kathy Goldsmith, describing her as the "silver lining" amid the devastating wildfires. As well as Mandy's home suffering damage, Kathy lost her abode. She wrote on Instagram: "It's been a hell of a year and my Mother-in-law, Kathy, has risen to the occasion in every way. Selfishly, I'm not sure what I would have done without her in the hours, days, weeks, and months since the fire. She suffered her own immense loss and has been by our side since the very beginning, without skipping a beat. I'm heartbroken that our 5 min walk to her house is no longer on the table BUT so grateful that we've been able to live under the same roof these last 6 months- if there's any silver lining in this whole thing, she's definitely ours. (sic)" Mandy heaped praise on Kathy for "absolutely mastering" the childcare of her and Taylor's three children, admitting the couple "couldn't be luckier that she's ours". She added: "From coffee in the morning as we let the dogs out, to tea after the kids go down and talking about our grief, funny things that happened in our day, etc…. To her absolutely mastering bath time, mealtime, playtime and everything in between- including moments like when Gus declared today- 'I have to GO POOP with Gaga now!', we couldn't be luckier that she's ours and we're never letting her go. "Seriously, she thinks she can move into her new place but that's not happening. Ha! I know you want this Birthday to just move right along, but those of us that know your friendship and heart are MORE THAN HAPPY to celebrate you today and always. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, @kathy_goldsmith!! We Love you, Gaga!! Xo (sic)" Mandy recently admitted she is "looking forward to rebuilding" her family home following the fires.

The week is over, July is halfway done, and wouldn't you know it—it's time for another round of our Staff Favourites! Each week, we try to show off some things that have brought us some joy in the hopes it'll help you find your own, and this week we're showcasing some delicious Tasmanian whiskey, a pint-sized collectable car, an ape wearing a tie, and some custom Adidas. Hot Wheels 1990 Acura NSX Brick Set | Image: Mattel Hot Wheels 1990 Acura NSX Brick Set John Guanzon – Head of Creative & Production When we posted about the news of Mattel dropping collector-focused brick sets on Man of Many's Instagram, the response was huge, so I took it as my sign to grab a set for myself. I told myself it was for the kids over the school holidays, but let's be real: I'll be the one building it while they watch (and honestly, I'm not mad about it). The build quality is surprisingly impressive. This one features 876 pieces and pays tribute to the iconic '90s ride with incredible attention to detail, from its scissor doors to the classic wedge profile. It's part of Mattel's new Brick Shop range, which also includes the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL and 1963 Corvette Grand Sport. All three are loaded with authentic touches and feel way more premium than you'd expect from a brick set. It's definitely got that collector energy, and now I'm tempted to grab the others and complete the set (or quietly drop hints between now and Father's Day wink). Favourite Article this Week: Our First Look at Link and Zelda in 2027's 'Legend of Zelda' Movie Donkey Kong Bonanza | Image: Nintendo Donkey Kong Goes Bananza Dean Blake – Entertainment & Tech Writer Donkey Kong has finally been let out of his cage, and he's literally tearing the scenery apart. In DK's big return to a starring role, he's diving deep into the bowels of the planet in Bananza, the first major single-player system-seller for Nintendo's new Switch 2 console. I got a chance to play a few hours of the game recently, and it was fantastic. DK feels great in the hands (which is no surprise if you've played this studio's prior game, Super Mario Odyssey), and has a number of new abilities in store: he can break the world apart around him, for one, but also climb most surfaces and, when the mood strikes just right, turn into an ostrich. No, I'm not kidding. He can also turn into a zebra and an even bigger ape with bananas in his hair, which is strange but you know, who cares? Doing so gives the big man access to some new abilities, like gliding, sprinting, and bashing things even harder. Oh, and he does it all with a human child on his shoulder. Confused yet? Well, that's just the beginning of where things get whacky with this one, but I don't think I want to spoil much else. Really, if you've already picked up a Switch 2 for Mario Kart you'd be doing yourself a disservice not to check out Bananza—and if you've been on the fence, this is a pretty damn good reason to make the jump to Nintendo's new system. Image: Scott Purcell / Man of Many Kicking It with the Three Stripes: Our Night with the adidas Superstar Scott Purcell – Co-Founder This week, Harry and I had the opportunity to head out to the adidas flagship store on Pitt St in Sydney to celebrate the return of a true icon: the adidas Superstar. The new 'Superstar: The Original' campaign is bringing back the legendary sneaker in two classic colourways, alongside the equally iconic Firebird Tracksuit. The global campaign features a star-studded cast including the likes of Missy Elliott, Jennie from BLACKPINK, and is narrated by the one and only Samuel L. Jackson. The event was a super fun getting to customise our own sneakers, and they even offered to embroider the back of our new jackets ahead of the night. In a moment of questionable genius, I opted for 'Man of Many' on mine, which made for some interesting conversations. Others were more clever, with one person getting 'It wasn't me' stitched on the back. While I'm not sure my attempt with a metallic scourer was a complete success as you can see in the photo, I can confirm these shoes are ridiculously comfortable. I've been wearing them all week since and this was my first proper foray into the world of adidas Superstars footwear. I think it's safe to say I'm a convert. Rosevears Batch 1 delivers a bold, grain-forward profile that proudly wears its local ingredients on its sleeve. The nose is rich with sweet corn and toasted cereal, backed by a punch of rye spice and oak. On the palate, it leans into classic bourbon notes – vanilla, caramel, and a touch of char. While it doesn't quite rival the depth of some seasoned Kentucky counterparts, Rosevears impresses with its authenticity and craftsmanship. As a debut, it sets a promising foundation for what's to come from this Tasmanian distillery. Tom Cruise 'has been a mentor for Ana de Armas'

Tom Cruise has been an "incredible mentor" to Ana de Armas. The 63-year-old actor and Ana, 37, have a "special work relationship" and the actress has "prepped" all summer for their first project together - a supernatural ocean thriller called Deeper. A source told People: "Tom is crazy hardworking and she's very excited to work with him. She calls it an opportunity of a lifetime." Tom and Ana have been romantically linked to each other over recent months. However, an insider has insisted that their relationship is "not romantic" and that they are simply friends and work partners. The source shared: "Tom is an incredible mentor to Ana. She has nothing but amazing things to say about him." Tom is still one of Hollywood's most bankable stars, and he's never lost his passion for filmmaking. The actor recently admitted that he's fulfilling a "life-long dream" by working in the movie business. He told Extra: "It's such a privilege to do what I do. "It's been a life-long dream of mine to be able to do this and to make movies ... I truly, I love it. That is my, I don't know, it's not what I do, it's who I am. "It is my honour to entertain." Tom is willing to put his body on the line in order to make the best movies possible. The actor - who has suffered various injuries during his career, including a broken ankle while shooting 2018's Mission: Impossible - Fallout - explained: "I fly aerobatic airplanes, I fly jets, I fly helicopters, and this took all of our ability and all of our skill to be able find the camera angles to tell this story." Tom needed to be in tip-top physical shape to shoot the Mission: Impossible movies, and he felt particularly proud of the action scenes in Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning. He said: "Physically, what I had to do to prepare for this thing was quite extreme, and I can tell you this - whatever people see in the trailer or on TV, it is not even a taste of what they have in store for them when they see this film."
