Michigan State schedules official visit with an offensive line prospect from New Jersey
Many prospects are gearing up for the most important time of their recruitments, including scheduling their spring visits to go along with summer official visits. Schools are also parcing through their recruiting boards, setting up visits with their top priorities.
The latest recruit the Spartans have locked in an official visit with is Roseby Lubintus, an offensive tackle from Sicklerville, New Jersey.
At 6-foot-5 and 300 pounds, Lubintus has a body perfect for a college offensive line. He is ranked as a high 3-star prospect in On3's rankings. He plays his high school football at Timber Creek High School.
Aside from Michigan State, the offensive line prospect has visits lined up with Penn State, Syracuse and West Virginia.

BOOM! Ohio State receives commitment from 2028 running back from Florida
BOOM! Ohio State receives commitment from 2028 running back from Florida While Ohio State is still putting the finishing touches on the 2026 class and has the framework in place for the 2027 class, the Buckeyes just got their first commitment for the 2028 cycle with the addition of Florida running back Elijah Newman-Hill. Out of Tampa, Florida, it's still too early for Hill to be ranked by the major recruiting services but you can bet if Ohio State offered and accepted a commitment from a kid that doesn't graduate until 2028, the coaching staff must be impressed with what it sees. And for Hill, the feeling must be mutual if he was ready to get on board shortly after attending one of the camps at Ohio State. Though Hill plays on both sides of the ball in high school, there's no doubt he's being looked at as a running back for OSU. This past season, he carried the ball 80 times for 829 yards for Blake High School. It's pretty early on in the 2028 recruiting class, and more than ever, in today's age, it'll still take a lot to keep him in the recruiting class. ontact/Follow us @BuckeyesWire on X (formerly Twitter) and like our page on Facebook to follow ongoing coverage of Ohio State news, notes and opinion. Steelers WR DK Metcalf praises 'jitterbug' Calvin Austin: 'He's explosive as heck'
Steelers WR DK Metcalf praises 'jitterbug' Calvin Austin: 'He's explosive as heck' Steelers WR Calvin Austin III could be in for a Year 4 breakout — and it wouldn't surprise DK Metcalf one bit. At mandatory minicamp, Metcalf wasted little time complimenting what makes Austin stand out (courtesy of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette): '[Calvin Austin III's] a jitterbug out there, but he's explosive as heck,' Metcalf said. 'Just looking forward to lining up with him for the rest of these last couple days of camp and then moving on to training camp, and then just starting to work off each other in different route concepts.' Steelers wide receivers coach Zach Azzanni also spoke highly of Austin at mandatory minicamp — saying the fourth-year wide receiver is slated for the WR2 role, and could potentially work as the primary receiver due to the differences between him and Metcalf. Here's to hoping Austin's explosiveness — a quality that had Metcalf in awe — will translate well with the addition of new Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers on offense. 5-Star LSU Commit Posts Two-Word Message After Massive NIL Deal Revealed
5-Star LSU Commit Posts Two-Word Message After Massive NIL Deal Revealed originally appeared on Athlon Sports. NIL deals are growing larger for college football athletes as brands and schools try to secure partnerships with some of the most talented young athletes in the country. One such deal was struck on Wednesday between five-star LSU wide receiver commitment Tristen Keys and athletic apparel and footwear juggernaut Adidas. Advertisement Keys, a native of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, will earn an estimated $536,000 under the agreement, according to On3's estimate. The exact total of the deal has not been disclosed. Adidas highlighted the deal with Keys on social media with a caption that read "Don't blink or you'll miss the future." Per 247Sports, Keys is the No. 3 player in the country, the top receiver and top player from Mississippi. In response to Adidas' social media announcement, Keys replied, "Gods Plan 🙏🏾." In March, Keys announced his commitment to LSU. He chose the Tigers over offers from Alabama, Tennessee, Auburn, Miami and several other big-time schools. Last year, the 6-foot-2.5, 180-pound receiver caught 40 passes for 839 yards and 12 touchdowns in 10 games played. Advertisement In explaining what would drive his commitment, Keys explained some of it had to do with a school's offensive scheme. In On3's NIL 100, Keys appears at No. 19 on their list of highest NIL valuations among high school athletes. The Tigers are No. 2 on On3's team recruiting rankings for 2026.
