The summer motorsports schedule continues to be a hot ticket as both the NASCAR Cup Series and Formula 1 continue their respective seasons this weekend.
Starting with the Cup Series, a trip to Iowa Speedway is up next following a thrilling Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway which saw Bubba Wallace hold off Kyle Larson to break a 100-race winless streak.
Iowa is an ultra-crucial event for many as there's only four races remaining before the NASCAR Playoffs are set. Currently, Chris Buescher holds the final playoff spot with a 42-point advantage over teammate Ryan Preece.

Over in Europe, Formula 1 heads to Hungary for the Hungarian Grand Prix. It's still all McLaren as the two teammates of Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris continue their fierce battle for the drivers championship.
Piastri, who won last week's Belgian Grand Prix, holds a 16-point lead over Norris.
While both events air on separate TV stations, a subscription to Sling allows racing fans to tune into both.

The tour's current leader (as of Tuesday, Aug. 5) is the Chilean golfer Joaquín Niemann of Torque GC, who leads Spanish golfer Jon Rahm by over 37 points in the overall standings. The individual champion will be decided at the end of the 13th event, which will take place in Indianapolis on Aug. 17. The Michigan event will be a team championship, where teams will be matched head-to-head in a quarterfinal round on Friday the 22nd, before a semifinal round on Saturday the 23rd. Sunday the 24th, the final round of the 2025 LIV schedule, will feature traditional stroke play, with each player's score contributing to his team's overall total. The 2024 team champion, decided at the team championship in Dallas on Sept. 22, was the Australian outfit Ripper GC, which featured captain Cameron Smith and 2009 PGA Rookie of the Year Marc Leishman. This is the first time LIV golf is hosting a tournament in Michigan, and they're bringing a party to St. John's, with Imagine Dragons playing a post-round concert on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. ET and Swedish House Mafia playing a post-tournament concert on Sunday at 7 p.m. ET. Müller, who won the World Cup with Germany in 2014, will join the Whitecaps for the remainder of the season in an open roster spot. Terms of the deal were not released. The agreement includes a Designated Player option for 2026. "Whitecaps — let's make history," Müller said in a video he posted online Wednesday. The 35-year-old Müller has spent the last 17 years with Bayern Munich in the German Bundesliga, helping the club win 13 championships during that span. He scored 250 goals with Bayern across all competitions, but his contract was not renewed after last season. At the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, Müller scored five goals.
