, who was last seen in Udaariyaan, has now joined the cast of Dhaakad Beera. He will be seen as Pankhuri Awasthy's husband, army captain Vikrant, in the show. Rakshanda Khan will be seen as the antagonist, portraying a village sarpanch in Dhaakad Beera.
While Karan remained unavailable, a source associated with the show informed us, 'Karan plays a crucial role in the storyline. He returns to avenge the death of his wife, portrayed by Pankhuri, who is killed on the orders of Rakshanda's character, and to reclaim custody of their daughter. The reason behind her murder will gradually be revealed in the show. His character fights for his wife's justice and for their daughter's safety.
The story explores themes like injustice, social disparity and honour killing. They also want to eliminate the child, and his character rises to protect his daughter and seek revenge for his wife's killing. This will be the first time he will be seen in a uniform.'
On the personal front, Karan married actress Pooja Singh in Mumbai on March 30 last year. The ceremony was attended by their families, close relatives and actor friends.

1 2 Ranchi : Schools affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) are gearing up for creative academic projects as the board has made art integrated projects compulsory for all students enrolled in Classes I to X, starting from the 2025–26 academic session. The initiative, aligned with the goals of the New Education Policy (NEP), aims to blend academic learning with art forms to foster experiential and interdisciplinary education. The guidelines mandate that every student should prepare creative projects by linking any academic subject such as Science, Mathematics, English, or Hindi with an Indian art form. The initiative is also a part of the 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat' programme, under which each state is paired with another to promote cross-cultural understanding. Jharkhand has been paired with Telangana, and students from Jharkhand are expected to develop their projects based on the art and cultural heritage of Telangana. The board stated that students of Class X will not be issued their admit cards unless they complete and upload the project. The project must be environment-friendly in design and execution.
