20 Civilians Killed by Israeli Toxic Gas at Aid Distribution Center in Rafah

DaysofPal-The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) killed at least 20 Palestinian civilians, most of them children, and injured dozens more on Wednesday morning after firing teargas canisters at the starving crowds while they were waiting for humanitarian aid near the American aid distribution center in Al-Teenah Street, northwest of Rafah city, in southern Gaza.
Medical sources confirmed that at least 20 people were killed at the scene, while many others were transported to makeshift hospitals amid a severe shortage of medical supplies. The death toll is expected to rise.
Eyewitnesses reported that American soldiers stationed at the main gate of the aid center deliberately closed the gate as thousands of civilians arrived and then began firing large amounts of toxic and tear gas, causing mass suffocation, particularly among women and children.
According to the Government Media Office in Gaza, the total number of victims near what it described as 'death traps', referring to the American-Israeli aid centers, has now reached 805 martyrs, 5,252 injured, and 42 missing persons.
This incident comes as part of the ongoing genocidal war waged by the Israeli army on Gaza, now in its 649th consecutive day, marked by systematic targeting of displaced families, starving civilians, and those seeking humanitarian assistance, especially children and women. The siege on Gaza has continued for over four months, amid international silence and U.S. support.

Israeli Settlers Slaughter 117 Sheep in Northern Jordan Valley Attack

In a violent escalation overnight, extremist Israeli settlers killed 117 sheep and stole dozens more in the northern Jordan Valley, specifically in the Al-Sheq area near the village of Al-Malih, according to local sources. The settlers reportedly used knives and live ammunition to slaughter the animals, in what residents described as a deliberate and brutal attack targeting both their livestock and their livelihoods. The village of Al-Malih witnessed a night of extreme tension as armed settlers stormed the area, attacking the tents of Palestinian residents, assaulting them, and looting their herds. A large number of animals were either killed or taken during the raid. Local residents say the attack is part of a broader campaign of intimidation and forced displacement carried out by settlers across the Jordan Valley. Shortlink for this post:

15 Palestinians Killed on the 651st Day of Israeli Genocide in Gaza

DaysofPal-At least 15 Palestinians were killed and dozens more wounded in ongoing Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip since early Friday morning, as the Israeli occupation forces continue their relentless assault for the 651st consecutive day—a campaign widely described as a genocidal war against the besieged population of Gaza. According to Safa News Agency, four civilians were killed and several others injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting the Jabalia al-Nazla area in northern Gaza. Meanwhile, Mohammad Jamal al-Sabbagh succumbed to injuries sustained days earlier when Israeli warplanes bombed his home in the Al-Zarqa neighborhood of eastern Gaza City. In southern Gaza, rescue teams recovered two unidentified bodies from under the rubble in the al-Shakoush area, northwest of Rafah. In Khan Younis, five people were killed and more than 10 others injured after Israeli forces targeted the home of the Abu Sahloul family in the refugee camp. Additionally, five civilians were killed and others injured when Israeli forces bombed tents sheltering displaced families west of Khan Younis. In another attack, Abdul-Mu'ti Musab Yassin and his mother, Yasmin Yassin, were killed when an Israeli drone struck Al-Hanawi School, near the Asda'a prison in northwest Khan Younis. Local sources also reported that Israeli forces demolished several homes in eastern Gaza City for the second time, as part of a broader policy of widespread destruction. Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation has been waging a devastating war on Gaza, resulting in over 195,000 Palestinians killed or injured, the majority of whom are women and children. More than 10,000 people remain missing, while hundreds of thousands have been displaced amid a worsening humanitarian catastrophe and famine that has claimed the lives of many, including dozens of children. ICC Rejects Israel's Plea to Cancel Arrest Warrants for Netanyahu

DayofPal— The International Criminal Court (ICC) has rejected a formal request by Israel to cancel arrest warrants issued for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. The plea also demand ICC to suspend the court's ongoing investigation into alleged war crimes in the occupied Palestinian territories. In a decision released Wednesday, the ICC's Pre-Trial Chamber I dismissed Israel's dual petition, submitted on May 9, 2025. The petition had sought either the withdrawal or invalidation of the arrest warrants against Netanyahu and Gallant, and a halt to the Office of the Prosecutor's investigation into alleged crimes committed in Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem. The Chamber reaffirmed the court's jurisdiction over the Palestinian territories, rejecting Israel's central claim that the ICC lacks legal authority over the matter. The judges emphasized that the court's prior determinations on jurisdiction remain valid and unaltered by an April 24 ruling by the Appeals Chamber, which had remanded an earlier procedural decision back to the Pre-Trial Chamber for further consideration. 'The Appeals Chamber's judgment of 24 April 2025 cannot be interpreted as undermining the Court's jurisdiction,' the ruling stated. The Chamber also clarified that under Article 19(7) of the Rome Statute, suspension of an investigation is only applicable when a state formally challenges the admissibility of a case, not merely its jurisdiction. The judges noted that Israel had not initiated such a challenge. In addition, the court denied Israel's request to exclude the State of Palestine from submitting views in the proceedings. It ruled that no additional submissions were necessary at this stage, as sufficient information had already been provided. The ruling marks a significant reaffirmation of the ICC's authority in investigating crimes in the Palestinian territories. The court first established its jurisdiction in a February 2021 decision, recognizing Palestine as a State Party to the Rome Statute and confirming that its jurisdiction extends to Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem, territories occupied by Israel since 1967. The ICC Office of the Prosecutor opened a formal investigation into the situation in Palestine on March 3, 2021. On November 21, 2024, the Pre-Trial Chamber issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Gallant, citing reasonable grounds to believe they bear responsibility for war crimes and crimes against humanity. The warrants were the result of a years-long investigation into Israel's conduct in the occupied territories. Israel had challenged the court's jurisdiction under Article 19(2) of the Rome Statute on September 23, 2024, but an earlier ruling dismissing the objection was annulled by the Appeals Chamber in April 2025. That decision paved the way for the substantive judgment delivered this week. Israel, which is not a party to the Rome Statute, has consistently rejected the legitimacy of the ICC's investigation, calling it politically motivated and legally baseless. The latest ruling, however, signals that the court will continue moving forward with its examination of the situation in Palestine. Shortlink for this post:
