KUALA LUMPUR: His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, was today presented with briefings on the achievements and agenda of Legal Reform as well as the Auditor-General's Report in two separate sessions at Istana Negara.
According to a post on Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar's Facebook page, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Law and Institutional Reform) Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said presented the briefing on the achievements and agenda of Legal Reforms to His Majesty.
His Majesty was then presented with the Auditor-General's Report 2/2025 by Auditor-General Datuk Seri Wan Suraya Wan Mohd Radzi.
Each briefing lasted about an hour.

Sultan Ibrahim was briefed on the manufacturing process and the latest technologies used in producing multi-purpose helicopters for commercial, military and search-and-rescue operations. The King also toured the facility to observe assembly operations and quality testing procedures. The Kazan Helicopter Plant is one of the world's largest helicopter manufacturers. Kazan is the capital of Tatarstan, which is one of Russia's most prominent autonomous republics and is known for its cultural diversity and Muslim-majority population. Sultan Ibrahim arrived in Kazan on Friday morning for the second part of his state visit to Russia at the invitation of President Vladimir Putin. Previously, the King said he was pleased with the growing cooperation between the peoples of Malaysia and Tatarstan in economic, institutional and cultural sectors.

KAZAN: His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, has visited the Kazan Helicopter Plant (KHP), one of the world's largest helicopter manufacturers. Accompanied by the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, His Majesty was welcomed by KHP general director Nikolai Yakovlev. Also present were Defence Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin, who is also Minister-in-Attendance, Foreign Ministry secretary-general Datuk Seri Amran Mohamed Zin, and Malaysian Ambassador to Russia Datuk Cheong Loon Lai. During the visit, His Majesty was briefed on the plant's operations before touring the assembly facilities and the showroom. Sultan Ibrahim was also introduced to a range of helicopters produced by the Kazan enterprise, including the Mi-38 with a high-comfort cabin, the Mi-8MTV-1 in transport and premium configurations, and the light Ansat helicopters in police and medical variants. His Majesty also inspected the interior of several helicopters at the showroom. Before concluding the programme, Sultan Ibrahim viewed an exhibition highlighting Tatarstan's industrial capabilities at the new flight test building. The visit to Kazan, the capital of Tatarstan, is part of His Majesty's state visit to Russia, undertaken at the invitation of President Vladimir Putin. – Bernama
