Ellen DeGeneres supports Rosie O'Donnell after Trump threatens to revoke her citizenship
It all began Saturday when the 79-year-old Republican politician vowed on Truth Social: 'Because of the fact that Rosie O'Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her citizenship.
'She is a threat to humanity, and should remain in the wonderful country of Ireland, if they want her. God bless America!'
On Sunday, the 67-year-old canceled comedian - who boasts 293.1M social media followers - shared Donald's post and gave a shout-out to the 63-year-old comedian: 'Good for you @rosie.'
Ironically, the lesbian funnywomen have never shared more in common - being former TV titans who both left the States for the UK following Trump's re-election last November.
'I've never really known Ellen to say anything political in her life, so I was surprised to read that she left because of President Trump. Like, that shocked me, actually,' Rosie (born Roseann) marveled to Us Weekly last April.
'I've been a political person my whole life, not better or worse, it's just a different way to be in the world. I was very clear about the reason why I was leaving.'
O'Donnell continued: 'It's not like we're tenaciously opposed to each other. We're just very different people. We have had some stuff in the past that we never resolved. And not in any way as, as partners or lovers or anything like that, just as friends and comedians, but I wish her the best. I seriously do.'
The Long Island native's 'past' comment was referring to when DeGeneres told the late Larry King that she didn't know Rosie and was not her friend, which deeply upset her because they were close in the nineties.
'Ellen wrote [in a text], "I'm really sorry and I don't remember that,"' Rosie recalled to THR in 2023.
'It would never occur to me to say "I don't know her" about somebody whose babies I held when they were born. It wouldn't be in my lexicon of choices to ever say. When she was in a perplexing situation and people were saying things about her, I said, "Let me stand next to you and say that I'm Lebanese, too." When it was a downward media time for me, she didn't do anything.'
The 34-time Emmy winner is reportedly 'never coming back' to the States after moving to a farmhouse in Cotswolds, England where she and her wife Portia DeGeneres are raising chickens and goats.
Last Thursday, Ellen and the 52-year-old retired actress enjoyed seeing the 'amazing' Billie Eilish at The O2 Arena in London, and they'll celebrate their 17th wedding anniversary on August 16.
DeGeneres notoriously got 'kicked out of show business for being mean' after her former self-titled daytime talk show ended following 19 seasons after being hit with racism, workplace bullying, and sexual harassment claims in 2022.

The New Orleans-born funnywoman now keeps busy running her age-positive skincare company, Kind Science By Ellen, as well as her lifestyle brand, ED Ellen DeGeneres.

Four Moscow airports shut as Ukraine blasts capital with massive drone blitz for fourth night as explosions rock city
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) UKRAINE unleashed chaos at Moscow's four airports with a fourth successive drone blitz rocking the city. Hundreds of passenger planes had to be diverted as waves of flying bombs converged on the Russian capital. Ukraine has stepped up assaults since Donald Trump reportedly told Ukrainian president Volodymr Zelensky it was time to make Russians feel 'the pain' of war. Russia's defence ministry claimed to have downed 93 Ukrainian drones overnight across nine regions - 19 of them over the Moscow area alone. Authorities were forced to twice close airspace over Moscow, hitting airports Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, Vnukovo and Zhukovsky. A total of 134 planes were diverted, as confusion and frustration gripped passengers caught up in the escalating fallout of the war. State airline Aeroflot was forced to adjust its schedule, while regional airports in Kaluga, Yaroslavl and Nizhny Novgorod were also thrown into disarray. Frustrated passengers - including tourists on summer vacations - were hit by delays, diverted flights and numerous cancellations in an apparent new tactic by Ukraine to paralyse air travel in Vladimir Putin's capital. Passengers — many travelling for summer vacations — were left bedding down on the airport floor. 'The restrictions are necessary for ensuring the safety of civil aircraft flights,' announced Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency. In Zelenograd, a district on the northwestern edge of Moscow, explosions were heard as air defences intercepted drones. 'Really p****d' Trump gives Putin 50-day ultimatum as he unveils major plan Debris sparked fires that damaged buildings and set vehicles alight, according to local reports. In nearby Golube, residents described powerful blasts that shattered windows and shook homes, The Kyiv Post reported. While Russian officials claimed success in intercepting the majority of drones, the repeated closures of Moscow's airspace suggest Ukraine is successfully placing pressure on the capital - targeting not just military assets but the daily functioning of civilian infrastructure. In a separate blow, anti-Kremlin partisan group Atesh claimed responsibility for sabotage on a key rail line in Tula region. They set fire to a relay cabinet, causing what the group described as 'serious disruptions in railway communication'. Atesh said the attack had critically crippled the movement of weapons and military gear from key defence factories. It was a hammer blow to Putin's logistics — and a taste of the chaos Ukraine and its allies are now willing to unleash. Elsewhere, drone strikes were reported on Russian-occupied Donetsk, with footage showing what appeared to be an attack near a regional trauma hospital. In Ukrainian-held Sloviansk, one person was killed in a Russian drone strike. The Kremlin continued its own strikes in response, targeting the Sumy region in Ukraine's northeast after scoffing at Trump's 50-day peace ultimatum. A 78-year-old woman was killed in Shostka, close to the Russian border, while in the Zaporizhzhia region a 69-year-old woman was wounded in another attack. Putin's war machine, ever indiscriminate, continues its campaign of terror against civilians. 8 The aftermath of a Ukrainian strike on the Russian-occupied Donetsk region on July 19 Credit: East2West 8 Explosion of a Geran-2 drone next to a Yak-52 aircraft that was acting as an interceptor Credit: East2West 8 Shostka in Sumy region, Ukraine, was attacked with drones and aerial bombs on Saturday Credit: East2West The Russian Defence Ministry, desperate to project strength, released footage of a MiG-31K jet launching a hypersonic Kinzhal missile, a menacing display as the Kremlin signals no intent to back down. And in a chilling twist, a Russian Shahed drone exploded dangerously close to a Yak-52 aircraft used as an interceptor. Despite Moscow's bluster, president Zelensky continues to push for peace - on Ukraine's terms. 'The pace of negotiations must be increased. Everything must be done to achieve a ceasefire,' he said. 'And the Russian side must stop hiding from decisions. 'Prisoner exchanges. Return of children. End to the killings. 'And a meeting at the level of leaders is needed to truly ensure peace – a really lasting one. Ukraine is ready for such a meeting.' But Kremlin is showing no signs of backing down. According to German General Christian Fröding, Russia is now preparing to swarm 2,000 drones at Ukraine, launching them simultaneously to try to overwhelm its defences. He warned of growing Chinese support behind the scenes. 'The current situation is such that China is effectively exporting exclusively to Russia, while Ukraine is excluded from this market,' Fröding said. And while Kyiv has not officially commented on its role in the latest strikes, officials have repeatedly insisted that 'Ukraine consistently adheres to international humanitarian law and targets only legitimate military objectives.' According to Ukraine's military: 'All actions by the Armed Forces of Ukraine are conducted in accordance with the Geneva Conventions, with a clear distinction made between civilian and military targets.'

Katie Price shares her motherly pride as she reveals son Harvey has finished college - after her daughter Princess moved out
Katie Price has revealed her son Harvey has finished college as she shared a gushing post. The former glamour model, 47, took to Instagram on Saturday night to share her pride with a sweet photo of her and Harvey. Announcing Harvey had officially completed school, Katie went on to tease that he has plans for the 'next chapter'. 'College done ✅ so proud of my boy. Onto the next chapter xx,' Katie wrote. Pals of Katie were quick to congratulate Harvey, with Ru Paul's Drag Race star Michelle Visage commenting: 'CONGRATS HARV!!!!' Meanwhile Jedward said: 'Wow congratulations Harvey you should be so proud.' It comes after Katie revealed her daughter Princess has moved out of her home. The 18-year-old, who she shares with ex Peter Andre, has embarked on her own career, with Princess currently filming her very own reality show. And speaking to sister Sophie on the latest episode of The Katie Price Show podcast, Katie told how her eldest daughter is no longer living with her due to filming her ITV programme - which Katie is not allowed to appear on. But as she discussed the situation, the former glamour model, 47 - who was recently banned from her girl's 18th birthday - couldn't help but make a dig at Peter and his management company, Can Associates, who are making the show. She told Sophie: 'Princess was living with me but because she's doing her documentary, and I'm not even allowed to breathe near the documentary, she has been predominantly staying at her dads while she is filming.' The subject came up as Katie spoke about her hunt for a new home amid the sale of her £5k-a-month rental property, with Sophie suggesting that Katie only needs a three-bed home for her and her youngest children, with a sofa bed for when the other kids visit. However, Katie was quick to insist that Princess would soon be back, while also noting that second eldest son Junior and his girlfriend Jasmine may move back in too as they do not like renting. She shared: 'It's's only because she has been filming that she has been at Pete's because obviously I'm not allowed anywhere near it. She has only got about two weeks left of filming.' She added: 'I'm that kind of mum where I have to make sure my kids have bedrooms if they want it, you never know do you.' Katie's words comes just weeks after she blasted Peter's management, The Can Group, after she was banned from their daughter Princess' 18th birthday. The TV personality went on a rant about the awkward snub with her sister Sophie in a recent episode of the podcast. MailOnline's Katie Hind revealed Katie was unable to attend Princess' celebrations because the event was being filmed for her forthcoming fly-on-the-wall ITV television series - which Katie has been banned from appearing on. In the episode, Katie said: 'Princess is now officially an adult so mummy and Princess can now go out together. If certain people would let her be seen with me.' Sophie said: 'I noticed in her 18th birthday pictures she was wearing the shoes you bought her for Christmas.' 'Oh did she? I love that', said Katie. Katie added: 'Everyone knows she's doing this documentary - and I'm not in it. Certain people don't think it's good for Princess to be seen with me. Certain people that used to look after me.' Her sister said: 'You aren't on brand Katie. You are too risky Katie that's why. Katie added: 'It's pathetic. I'm her mother. It's so sad. When certain people who used to look after me are now looking after...' Her sister Sophie then urged Katie to 'save it for another day.' Katie was allegedly referring to her old PR team, who now manage her ex husband Peter, 52, and their children Junior and Princess.

The REAL victims of the Coldplay Kiss cam scandal: Andy Byron's wife and Kristin Cabot's husband take action after humiliation on screen
The Astronomer CEO and his HR boss whose affair was exposed on a 'kiss camera' at a Coldplay concert both appeared to be living perfect family lives before the scandal plunged them into chaos, sources have claimed. Tech tycoon Andy Byron, 50, yesterday resigned from his role after footage of him with his arms wrapped around Astronomer's HR chief Kristin Cabot, 52, spread like wildfire across the world. The co-workers were caught red-faced at the Coldplay concert in Boston, Massachusetts on July 16, with the pair immediately ducking and turning around in a desperate bid to hide their faces from the big screen. Coldplay front man Chris Martin then cracked a joke which stirred rumours over the pair's awkward reaction and sent the internet into a frenzy. 'Oh look at these two! Oh what? Either they're having an affair, or they're just very shy,' Martin said to the crowd. On Friday, after the video had gained millions of views on social media, New York-based Artificial Intelligence firm Astronomer addressed the viral moment and launched a 'formal investigation'. The billion-dollar company then announced the CEO's resignation on Saturday, saying: 'Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met.' The scandal has torpedoed the lives of Mr Byron and Ms Cabot, but the real victims are their respective partners, Megan Kerrigan and Andrew Cabot, who appeared to be living the American dream in huge suburban homes. Ms Kerrigan appears to have deleted joyful family photos with Mr Byron and their sons on Facebook. Among the photos she had posted was one of the family smiling on a hiking trip and at a graduation for one of the boys. In the hiking photo, the parents and their two children all have their arms around each other as they grin to the camera - all wearing caps - in front of a creek. And in the graduation snap, Mr Byron and his two sons are dressed smartly in suits with Ms Kerrigan wearing a dress for the milestone moment. One of the sons is wearing his graduation gown and a mortarboard. The photo was used as Ms Kerrigan's Facebook cover photo until she first removed 'Byron' from her name and then deleted her entire profile on Thursday, wiping all of the pictures she had posted, the New York Post reports. The outlet reports that Ms Cabot, meanwhile, is married to the CEO of a booze firm - and bought a massive $2.2million home in the seaside town of Rye, New Hampshire, with him less than five months ago. It is unclear exactly when the pair tied the knot, but documents confirm that Ms Cabot, whose maiden name is Stanek, was married at the time of selling a $1.8m property in Watertown, Mass, earlier this year. Property records show that the husband and wife purchased the two-story, four bedroom house in February. She has also shared a second home in the same town with her husband - the head of Privateer Rum - since at least 2023, according to the records. The Massachusetts-based company described Mr Cabot as its CEO and COO, adding that he is an 'ancestor, the original Andrew Cabot (1750-1791), was a merchant, rum distiller and successful American privateer during the American Revolution.' Public documents show that he has been married at least twice before, in 1993 and 2014. He shares two children with his first wife Maud, who shared a picture of her ex-husband with Cabot looking loved up at his daughters 25th birthday party on social media in April of last year. Mr Cabot even posed with his son Henry, 30, in the snaps, and was seen wearing a wedding ring at the event - which was missing during her cozy Coldplay date with Byron. Ms Cabot's LinkedIn profile showed that she has been an 'advisory board member' for her husband's company since 2020, but she has now deleted her account. Astronomer was also a booming company before the scandal hit, reportedly raising nearly $100 from big investors. In May, the company secured $93million in Series D funding from backers including Bain Capital, Salesforce, Venrock and Mertitech. Astronomer announced the CEO's resignation on Saturday following an internal investigation that put Byron and Cabot on leave on Friday Mr Byron's firm is valued at over $1 billion, with the company experiencing rapid growth since he became CEO in 2023. But the American dream quickly turned into a nightmare for both Astronomer and the families involved last week. The billion-dollar company announced the CEO's resignation in a statement on Saturday. 'As stated previously, Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met,' the statement said. 'Andy Byron has tendered his resignation, and the Board of Directors has accepted.' Co-founder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy will stay on as interim CEO. 'While awareness of our company may have changed overnight, our product and our work for our customers have not. We're continuing to do what we do best: helping our customers with their toughest data and AI problems.' Astronomer acknowledge the awkward situation in the statement announcing Byron's resignation. 'Before this week, we were known as a pioneer in the DataOps space, helping data teams power everything from modern analytics to production AI,' the statement read.
