Canucks at Stars picks and predictions
Prediction
Stars 5, Canucks 3
PASS: Looking to the puck line for the best value on this one.
Dallas is 18-7-1 at home. The Stars are back on home ice after back-to-back road games; after 5 previous multi-game trips, they returned home with 4 wins (4-1-0).
When playing on 2-days of rest, Dallas is 6-1-0, scoring 4.14 goals per game against 2.86. The Stars are underperforming recent 5-on-5 expected-goals numbers. They own a 30.4% power play since Jan. 14 and are facing a Vancouver club that has logged more-than 15 penalty minutes per game since Jan. 16.
If Demko gets the call for the Canucks, he's been prone to some clunkers. The probability for some cushion here is worth a STARS -1.5 (+145) play.
Dallas owns some expected-goal numbers that indicate more lamps being lit in 5-on-5 play and at both ends. With the Stars' nice offensive numbers on 2-day rest and with some fade lean on Demko, BACK THE OVER 5.5 (-110).

Pennsylvania 2026 star offensive tackle Grayson McKeogh has Notre Dame as a finalist

Pennsylvania 2026 star offensive tackle Grayson McKeogh has Notre Dame as a finalist Notre Dame is one of three finalists for four-star Class of 2026 product Grayson McKeogh, but the Fighting Irish will have a tough act to beat after the offensive tackle enjoyed his visit to Penn State. The 6-foot-7, 275-pounder from La Salle College (Glenside, PA) will visit Notre Dame June 13-15 before heading to Texas June 20-22. It's not very often Texas recruits a Pennsylvania product either, which speaks to how impressive the offensive lineman has been. It's been quite the rise for McKeogh, who had never played on the offensive line for the Explorers until head coach Brett Gordon took over the program before his junior season. Now, the former defensive end is one of the most desirable left tackles in the country and the seventh-best prospect in his state, per the 247Sports Composite Rankings. His visit to State College reportedly went very well, so it's going to be difficult for the Fighting Irish to woo the star tackle, who could stay in-state and play for a strong Big Ten program. Additionally, Texas will get the chance to make one final impression. Can the Longhorns win this tight battle? McKeogh plans to make his decision July 1. MSU football predicted to land commitment from 3-star LB Charles Belser

MSU football predicted to land commitment from 3-star LB Charles Belser Michigan State football is trending for a three-star linebacker prospect from Philadelphia. Charles Belser of Philadelphia took an official visit this past weekend, and it apparently went so well that the Spartans are now the projected favorite to land his commitment. Michigan State picked up a 247Sports' crystal ball prediction in their favor for Belser on Tuesday morning. Belser is a three-star prospect, with a recruiting rating of 87 on 247Sports. He ranks as the No. 64 linebacker and No. 807 overall prospect in 247Sports' composite rankings for the 2026 class. Michigan State is one of nearly 15 schools to show interest in Belser by extending him an offer. Some of the other notable schools to offer Belser includes UCF, Virginia Tech, Florida State, Notre Dame, Penn State, Indiana, Pitt, Syracuse, UCLA and Duke. There is no known commitment date for Belser so we will need to keep our eyes peeled for any news surrounding his recruitment. I wouldn't be surprised if an announcement comes out shortly should he in fact elect to become a future Spartan. Michigan State football beats out Iowa, lands commitment from 3-star edge Cory House

Michigan State football beats out Iowa, lands commitment from 3-star edge Cory House Michigan State football has started the week by winning a big time recruiting battle and adding to their 2026 recruiting class at a position of need. Cory House, an edge rushing prospect from Memphis (TN), has committed to MSU. The Spartans won the commitment for House in a head to head battle with Big Ten rival Iowa. This decision comes off of official visits to both schools the past two weekends, with MSU coming out ahead. A 6-foot-5, 240 pound edge, House is a standout at Whitehaven High School in Memphis. He ranks as an 87-rated 3-star and No. 68 edge in the country by 247Sports. House had 28 total offers, with 12 of those offers being from power conference schools. Initially, he was also scheduled to visit Indiana and North Carolina, before the Spartans and Hawkeyes turned this into a two-man race. Michigan State rush ends coach Chad Wilt is credited with being the primary recruiter in this recruitment, doing what the Spartans needed him to do to win out with a commitment, especially over a Big Ten rival in Iowa.
