Denver Broncos announce 2025 training camp schedule
The Denver Broncos have announced their 2025 training camp schedule, and 13 practices will be open* to the public this summer.
The team's first open practice of the summer will be on Friday, July 25.
*Due to ongoing construction at the team's facility, the capacity for the team's training camp practices will be limited. Consequently, fans planning to attend a practice will need to first down load a free ticket, which will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis on Wednesday, June 25 at 10 a.m. MT on Ticketmaster. Fans will be limited to up to two practices.

Parking will also be available on a first-come, first-served basis at 13403 Broncos Pkwy beginning two hours before each practice. Seating will also be available on a first-come, first-served basis, primarily on the berm on the west end of the practice fields. There will also be some ADA seating available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Because the berm is not shaded, fans who attend practice are encouraged to wear sunscreen and stay hydrated. Fans can bring the same kind of small bags that are allowed at the team's stadium. Lawn chairs and umbrellas are not allowed at practice.

Some players will be available to sign autographs at the west end of the practice fields after each practice session. Fans should note that Denver's practice schedule is subject to change due to weather. Be sure to check the team's X page for the latest updates on the practice schedule.

The Broncos are set to play three preseason games in August before opening up the regular season at home against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, Sept. 7 (view the full regular season schedule).

When Cowboys report on Monday, will Micah Parsons show up?
The Cowboys don't care about winning as much as they claim to care about winning. If they did, they wouldn't consistently drag their feet when it comes to the contracts earned by key players. They've done it several times in recent years, from Ezekiel Elliott to Dak Prescott to CeeDee Lamb to Dak Prescott (again) to Micah Parsons. With the Cowboys reporting for training camp on Monday, the question becomes whether Parson will (like Elliott and Lamb) hold out or (like Dak) show up. The middle ground is to hold in — to show up and not practice until he has his deal. The last option would be a mistake, in our view. It would be a mistake because it would allow the Cowboys to keep dragging their feet, beyond Week 1 of the 2025 season. While a hold in avoids fines while also protecting the player from a practice injury, the team acquires all the leverage once the player reports. It becomes much harder for the player to walk out or to refuse to play, given the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. And it sets the stage for what happened several years ago between the Bears and linebacker Roquan Smith; at some point, it will be time to go to work, even if there's no new deal. We've seen what the Cowboys do, time and time again. Elliott and Lamb got what they deserved by staying away. And while Prescott showed up, his leverage came not from holding out but from the prospect of not getting a deal done. Faced last September with Prescott hitting free agency (and leaving behind a massive dead-money charge) in March 2025, the Cowboys blinked, making Prescott the highest-paid player in the league. If Micah shows up, the Cowboys won't have to blink. They can ride it out, paying him $24 million for 2025 and applying the franchise tag in 2026. At this point, it's not as if the edge-rusher market will go up before the end of the season. Why not make him continue to carry the injury risk for another year? That's why, if Parsons were my son, brother, nephew, cousin, client, or friend, I'd tell him to stay away. Sure, he faces (under the fifth-year option) daily fines of $40,000 and $1.33 million for each preseason game missed. They're waivable for players playing under their rookie deals. And the amounts are peanuts in comparison to the contract he stands to get. The only way for Parsons to get every penny he's owed at this point is to stay away. If he shows up, they'll try to lowball him. Especially since they'd love to change the well-earned narrative that they bungle these negotiations. Prediction: If he shows up, the Cowboys will eventually make him a final offer well below what he'd get if he holds out. And, if he doesn't take their last, best offer, they'll try to kick the can into 2026. Second prediction: if he doesn't show up, he'll get what he deserves not long before Week 1.

John Oliver-Branded Minor League Baseball Team the Erie Moon Mammoths Play First Game
The Erie Moon Mammoths, a minor league baseball team rebranded by John Oliver and his Last Week Tonight staff, made their debut Saturday to a record-setting crowd that included Oliver in attendance. Back in May, during a segment about minor league baseball teams and their frequent crowd-drawing promotions, Oliver invited teams to send in proposals about why they deserved a rebrand; nearly 50 teams sent in proposals, with Oliver ultimately opting for the Erie SeaWolves, as that Pennsylvania team and Detroit Tigers affiliate played nowhere near a sea. Despite their popularity, the Moon Mammoths will revert back to the SeaWolves for most games — this is just a minor league promotion, after all — but the Oliver-branded team will play three more times this season, Aug. 19 and Sept. 12 and 13. Moon Mammoths games are also planned for the 2026 season. 'I love minor league baseball. There is a special eccentricity to it,' Oliver said. 'It felt like a nice fit with our show because minor league baseball, as you know, is willing to try anything. That was proven by the fact that over half the league was willing to sight unseen, rebrand and put their trust in the hands of a group of people who are objectively untrustworthy. That's a bad decision, and it's that kind of bad decision making that I love about minor league baseball.'
