44% of Student Enrollments Come from 11.20% Re-Inquiries, Reveals Meritto's Enrollment Index's Trends Report
Following the widely referenced launch of its industry-first Enrollment Index 2025, Meritto today released a Trends Report titled 'The Impact of Re-inquiries, Engagement, and Velocity in Student Enrollments', shedding light on a new frontier in enrollment intelligence. While the original index spotlighted the growing dominance of digital channels, this new report shifts focus to the quality of engagement, revealing how students who re-engage through multiple touchpoints contribute significantly more to enrollments than those who inquire just once.
Meritto Enrollment Index Trends Report
The new report underscores a striking trend: While first-time inquiries account for the lions share of total leads (88.8%), they contribute only 55.68% of enrollments, with a modest conversion rate of 0.63%. Whereas 44% of student enrollments are driven by just 11.20% of re-inquired leads.
Among re-inquiries, secondary inquirers, those who engage with an institution through secondary sources, convert at a rate four times higher (2.69%), contributing 24.52% of enrollments despite representing only 8.64% of total leads. Tertiary inquirers, though comprising just 2.56% of all leads, convert at an even more impressive 7.24%, delivering 19.80% of enrollments.
The report reveals the critical role that timing plays in student enrollment decisions. While the majority of applications are submitted within the first five days of inquiry, those submitted after 30, 60, or even 90+ days indicate significantly stronger intent. In fact, students who complete applications even after 90+ days contribute to 6.5% of enrollments.
To help institutions navigate this evolving landscape, the report introduces a refined behavioral framework, segmenting students into three distinct categories: The Prepared Mind, On the Fence, and Unaware. Each group requires a tailored approach, ranging from seamless, low-barrier application experiences for ThePrepared Mind, to personalized nudges for those On the Fence, and deeper, more engaging interventions for the Unaware.
'This Trends Report of the Enrollment Index reveals a powerful shift from volume-first approaches to intent-first strategies,' said Naveen Goyal, Founder & CEO of Meritto (A Product of NoPaperForms). 'As student behavior becomes increasingly non-linear, educational institutions need more than just leads, they need a framework that helps them identify high-intent leads early, re-engage effectively, and adapt to the evolving student journey. The insights shared here offer exactly that, helping institutions shift from assumptions to strategies grounded in real behavioral intelligence.' he further added.
The trends report underscores that the future of enrollment lies not in moving the fastest, but in engaging with intent and understanding student needs at every touchpoint. It calls on institutions to adopt dynamic, responsive engagement strategies that prioritize re-engagement, reduce mid-funnel drop-offs, and adapt to the unique rhythms of each prospective student's journey.
Where the first edition of the Enrollment Index provided a comprehensive roadmap for educational institutions to optimize their strategies by analyzing regional trends, top-performing channels, and key conversion challenges, this edition urges them to personalize and prioritize. It's a call to action for enrollment teams to move beyond funnel templates and towards dynamic, responsive engagement strategies grounded in student behavior, not assumptions. The report is now available for download at: Meritto Enrollment Index Trends Report.

Russia's Kostroma Forges Stronger Cultural Ties with Egypt
Pasant Elzaitony In a significant step toward enhancing cultural exchange, the renowned Russian Kostroma Folklore Ensemble is making its debut visit to Egypt as part of a broader initiative under the BRICS Cultural Cooperation Program. The visit is supported by the Russian Presidential Fund and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, in collaboration with Egypt's Ministry of Culture. During their stay, the ensemble is engaging in a series of artistic and educational exchanges aimed at fostering mutual cultural understanding. Arseniy Matyushenko, Acting Director of the Russian Cultural Centers in Egypt, noted the importance of cultural outreach, stating, 'The Russian side is keen to strengthen communication with Egyptian cultural institutions.' He highlighted several collaborative activities, including a workshop with students from the Higher Institute of Ballet at the Egyptian Academy of Arts, as well as a joint rehearsal with Egypt's iconic Reda Folklore Ensemble that featured both Egyptian and Russian folk dance traditions. A press conference held at the Russian Embassy in Cairo brought together key cultural figures from both nations. Among the attendees were Russian Ambassador Georgy Borisenko; Yelena Tsarenko, Producer and Director of the Kostroma Ensemble; Khaled Galal, Head of Egypt's Cultural Production Sector; Hesham Gamal, Vice President of the Egyptian Academy of Arts; Enas Abdel Aziz, Director of the Reda Ensemble; and Maria Vishkina, Director of the College of Dance. Ambassador Borisenko remarked on the growing momentum of cultural exchange between Russia and Egypt, describing it as a 'rich and productive period of artistic cooperation.' Galal emphasized the significance of Kostroma's visit, calling it a reflection of the depth of bilateral relations and the shared commitment to cultural collaboration. Elena Tsarenko explained that the ensemble's tour is part of a wider initiative sponsored by the Russian Presidential Fund, aimed at deepening cultural ties with partner countries. The program launched this year in Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, and China, and is set to expand to Brazil, India, Ethiopia, and South Africa in 2026. It encompasses artistic workshops, joint performances, and cultural exchanges that encourage dialogue and understanding between nations. The ensemble's visit will culminate in a joint performance with the Reda Troupe, scheduled as part of the upcoming celebrations for Russian National Day. Tsarenko described the initiative as 'an important opportunity to bridge cultures through the universal language of the arts.' read more 2 Most Inspirational Green Projects in Egypt AEW Dynamite, WWE NXT to Strive over Viewership Tonight Egypt Marks 70th Anniv. of 2011 Revolution, National Police Day In Depth: WWE NXT Halloween Havoc In Depth: AEW Dynamite, WWE NXT Tuesday Viewership Strive Videos & Features WATCH: Egyptians Break Ramadan Fasts in Matariya Videos & Features GrEEk Campus Hosts Jobzella Fifth Career Fair Videos & Features 3 Iconic Ramadan Songs of All Times Videos & Features Top 4 Destinations to Visit in Upper Egypt News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt News Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly Inaugurates Two Indian Companies Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War Arts & Culture Zahi Hawass: Claims of Columns Beneath the Pyramid of Khafre Are Lies News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks News Shell Unveils Cost-Cutting, LNG Growth Plan Videos & Features Video: Trending Lifestyle TikToker Valeria Márquez Shot Dead during Live Stream Technology 50-Year Soviet Spacecraft 'Kosmos 482' Crashes into Indian Ocean

EGX Issues Warning to Listed Companies Over Non-Compliance with E-Voting Requirements
Taarek Refaat The Egyptian Stock Exchange (EGX) has issued a formal warning to several listed companies for failing to comply with regulations mandating the facilitation of electronic participation and voting in general assembly meetings. In a disclosure published on the EGX trading screens earlier today, the Listing Committee cited violations of a key provision in the Securities Listing and Delisting Rules, which requires listed entities to implement digital systems that allow shareholders to remotely attend and vote during general assemblies. The committee has given the concerned companies a 15-day deadline from the date of notification to submit a detailed plan outlining measures to ensure full compliance with the e-voting requirement. These measures must be in place before the next general assembly meeting convenes. The EGX emphasized that such violations must not be repeated, reaffirming its commitment to digital transformation, corporate transparency, and the protection of shareholder rights. Enabling remote participation is seen as a critical step in broadening shareholder engagement and ensuring equitable access to corporate governance processes. The move comes as part of Egypt's broader efforts to modernize capital markets infrastructure and align corporate practices with international standards. read more CBE: Deposits in Local Currency Hit EGP 5.25 Trillion Morocco Plans to Spend $1 Billion to Mitigate Drought Effect Gov't Approves Final Version of State Ownership Policy Document Egypt's Economy Expected to Grow 5% by the end of 2022/23- Minister Qatar Agrees to Supply Germany with LNG for 15 Years Business Oil Prices Descend amid Anticipation of Additional US Strategic Petroleum Reserves Business Suez Canal Records $704 Million, Historically Highest Monthly Revenue Business Egypt's Stock Exchange Earns EGP 4.9 Billion on Tuesday Business Wheat delivery season commences on April 15 News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt News Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly Inaugurates Two Indian Companies Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War Arts & Culture Zahi Hawass: Claims of Columns Beneath the Pyramid of Khafre Are Lies News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks News Shell Unveils Cost-Cutting, LNG Growth Plan Videos & Features Video: Trending Lifestyle TikToker Valeria Márquez Shot Dead during Live Stream Technology 50-Year Soviet Spacecraft 'Kosmos 482' Crashes into Indian Ocean
