Bryce Huff thankful he landed with 49ers

Edge rusher Bryce Huff is happy to be back with 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh. Huff had 10 sacks playing for Saleh in 2023 when Saleh was the head coach of the Jets and turned that into a three-year deal with the Eagles as a free agent. Huff was not able to replicate that success in Vic Fangio's defense and he dealt with an injury before being inactive for the team's Super Bowl win. Advertisement After a mutual agreement to have Huff stay away from the offseason program as both sides looked for a trade, the Eagles dealt Huff to the 49ers last month. On Wednesday, Huff said he had his eyes on a reunion throughout the process. 'I had a few places in mind that I definitely wanted to get traded to," Huff said, via 95.7 The Game. "All I was doing is just working out, staying in my routine. Thankfully, it was to San Francisco.' Saleh said, via that Huff brings "speed off the edge" to the defense and that opposing coaches have to "account for his presence on the field" while discussing why the team made the move for Huff. Those traits served Huff and Saleh well in their first run together and the coming months will show if the second time will be the charm as well.

Thunder vs. Pacers: Live updates, highlights from Game 3 of the 2025 NBA Finals

The Oklahoma City Thunder-Indiana Pacers 2025 NBA Finals series is headed to Indianapolis for Games 3 and 4 of the series, currently tied 1-1. Game 3 is set for Wednesday, June 11 at 8:30 p.m. ET from Gainbridge Fieldhouse. This year's NBA MVP, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, & Co. are looking to build off a dominant Game 2 performance over the Pacers, besting Indy 123-107 after falling short in their first meeting. Advertisement Through two games in the series, SGA is averaging a whopping 46 points per game, including 5 rebounds and 5.5 assists, well out-performing Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton, who totaled just 31 points combined over two outings to SGA's 72. Still, there's no doubt that the Pacers wouldn't have been in a position for a tied series at this point without his stunning game-winning 3-pointer in Game 1. Haliburton has, no doubt, been the magic that's fueled the Pacers' miraculous postseason and kept them in it. He's shot a ridiculous 13-of-15 on shots to tie or take a lead in the last two minutes of a game this postseason, per ClutchPoints — precisely the reason he's earned his new nickname of "The Moment." One team will be a step closer to the NBA championship with a win Wednesday night. We'll soon find out which one. Date: Wednesday, June 11 Advertisement Time: 8:30 p.m. ET Location: Gainbridge Fieldhouse | Indianapolis, Indiana TV channel: ABC Follow along with Yahoo Sports for live updates, highlights and more from Thunder-Pacers in Game 3 of the 2025 NBA Finals:
