Hamdan district commemorates day of guardianship / al-Wilayah in Sana'a
Sana'a – Saba:
Residents of Wadi'ah and Bani Mukram sub-districts in Hamadan district of Sana'a governorate on Monday organized a speech event to commemorate al-Wilayah day, held under the slogan "And support those who support him."
Attended by local sheikhs and dignitaries, the speeches emphasized drawing lessons from Imam Ali's (peace be upon him) life of jihad, asceticism, courage, and sacrifices in support of the Noble Messenger and Islamic faith.
Speakers explained that the Islamic nation's current state of defeat stems from its abandonment of the principle of Guardianship and the Prophet's commandment on the Day of Ghadir.
The speakers stressed the need for the nation to return to the right path and strengthen its loyalty to God, His Messenger, Imam Ali, and the beacons of guidance to confront forces of evil and global arrogance.
The event also highlighted Yemenis' historical support for the Prophet and Imam Ali, their current confrontation with "global arrogance," and their backing of the Palestinian people and their resistance.
The commemoration included poetry and performances reflecting Yemenis' connection to Imam Ali and the Prophet's family.
