USA Today13 hours ago
The popular video game, NBA2K26, will be released very soon as everybody prepares for the 2025-26 NBA season. The game promises to add new features and continue to upgrade graphics and things of the like as the game's production team looks for improvements.
A big topic everybody looks for is ratings. The masses want to know what their favorite player's 2K rating is in the game and the official Twitter account released the top 100 rated players in the game. The Philadelphia 76ers have an early entry on the list in the form of Paul George.
George, a 9-time All-Star who had an injury-riddled first season with the Sixers, has a 2K rating of 81 as he looks ahead to the new season. Other notable players with an 81 rating are Washington Wizards big man Alex Sarr, Portland Trail Blazers high flyer Shaedon Sharpe, and New York Knicks swingman Josh Hart.
George was limited to 41 games with the Sixers and saw his numbers decrease across the board from his previous season with the Los Angeles Clippers. Recovering from an offseason left knee surgery, the Sixers hope George can return and give Philadelphia the dominant scoring it expects from him.

Luka Dončić set to practice with Slovenia on Monday

Luka Dončić suffered a knee contusion while playing with Slovenia in a friendly contest against Latvia. In his two quarters of play, Luka was magnificent. He scored 26 points, had five assists and four rebounds. The injury ended his night early and had Lakers fans all around the world concerned about the health of their young star. Luckily, the situation doesn't seem to be serious. This has been further confirmed with Slovenia stating that Luka would practice with the team on Monday via a social media post. They have another exhibition game coming up against Great Britain on Tuesday. Dončić's availability will be crucial if Slovenia is to make a run during their EuroBasket play. He is one of the best players on the planet and clearly the driving force for the team. Still, health is needed and Luka has to proceed with caution. Slovenia has a couple of exhibition matches left before they begin the tournament, so he'll have time to test out his knee in practice and potentially in one of the upcoming friendlies. The reality is that anytime a player participates in a competitive basketball game, there is a risk for injury. So, while the thought that Luka might get hurt playing in non-Lakers games is an unsettling one, fans will have to get used to it. Luka plays in virtually every Slovenia game that doesn't conflict with his NBA duties, and that trend continues now that he is wearing a purple and gold uniform. Hopefully, this is the last injury Luka suffers this summer and it continues to be an insignificant one. While Luka will practice with Slovenia, they have not stated if he will play against Great Britain. We'll have to wait and see if he is available for that game, or if they opt to give him some additional rest and have him ready for the following matchup against Serbia on Thursday. If Luka does miss any of these games, there's no need for concern. Having him play in every exhibition would be excessive. Even when he was 100% healthy, he missed Slovenia's game against Lithuania. or on Bluesky at .

Luka Doncic suffers injury scare during Slovenian exhibition game, reportedly avoids anything serious

This is what NBA teams fear when their best players suit up for their country. Luka Doncic had an injury scare while playing for Slovenia in a tune-up game for EuroBasket when teammate Gregor Hrovat fell into Doncic's knee. Doncic limped back to the locker room but has avoided serious injury, reports Dan Woike of The Athletic. Doncic did not return to the game, however, he did return to the bench to watch the end of the exhibition against Latvia. We'll see what the diagnosis is once the doctors do more tests (LCL sprain?). Doncic impressed in the first half, scoring 26 points with five assists and five boards. Lakers fans will be watching the rest of EuroBasket with concern... just like Bucks fans are watching the Greek side with Giannis Antetokounmpo, Nuggets fans with Serbia and Nikola Jokic, and the list goes on and on.

Bulls would have won '3 or 4' titles with healthy Derrick Rose, says star

Bulls would have won '3 or 4' titles with healthy Derrick Rose, says star originally appeared on The Sporting News A former Chicago Bulls standout is convinced his old team could have won multiple championships had MVP point guard Derrick Rose avoid his the ACL and meniscus tears that permanently altered his health trajectory. MORE NEWS:Insider roasts Bulls after NBA national broadcast schedule drop During an interview with Matt Peck of the "CHGO Bulls" podcast, former two-time All-Star power forward Carlos Boozer asserted that his talented Chicago teams could have gone all the way. "You can't replace a Derrick Rose, man. Let's be honest," Boozer said. "This guy was one in a million, one in a lifetime, to be honest. If he doesn't get hurt, he retires with three or four championships and obviously first ballot Hall of Famer. That's how much influence he had on the game of basketball and that also speaks to his talent level." Boozer was something of a consolation prize free agent signing for the Bulls in 2010, when LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, and likely Joe Johnson all signed elsewhere. A prolific post scorer in his day (he didn't have much of a jumper beyond the arc, but in his era that wasn't a dealbreaker yet), Boozer was a consistent double-double machine — although he never matched his All-Star prime with the Utah Jazz while in town. Chicago ultimately amnestied him in the summer of 2014. Across his four seasons with the Bulls, Boozer averaged 15.5 points on 49.1 percent shooting from the floor and 72.4 percent shooting from the foul line, 9.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 0.8 steals a night. "Think about his career, right?" Boozer added. "He's from Chicago, No. 1 pick in the NBA draft. Rookie of the Year that year. Second year, becomes an All-Star. Third year, becomes the MVP... His trajectory was off the charts." MORE NEWS:Bulls' $36 million guard predicted to be among biggest names dealt at 2026 trade deadline
