Raytown man killed in Saturday afternoon crash: MSHP

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Troopers are investigating after a 56-year-old Raytown man was killed in a rollover crash Saturday afternoon.
According to a , just after 3 p.m., officers with the Raytown Police Department and troopers with MSHP were dispatched to the area of 53rd Street and Maywood Avenue on reports of a crash.
Gladstone home explosion leaves one dead, cause still unknown
Investigations revealed that the 56-year-old man had been driving a 2000 Chevrolet Impala when he drove off the left side of the road and overturned.
MSHP said the man was taken to Centerpoint Hospital, where he reportedly died just before 3:45 p.m.
At this time, the man's identity has not been released by law enforcement.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) boat report, a 57-year-old Shell Knob man has died following a watercraft collision around 1:45 p.m. on Table Rock Lake near Viola on Monday. 3-year-old drowns in Lake of the Ozarks MSHP says the crash occurred when a 61-year-old Cassville man was operating a 2015 Regal Open Motorboat with a 57-year-old Lone Tree, Colorado woman as an occupant. The watercraft collided with the 57-year-old man's boat while meeting on the Kings River Arm of Table Rock Lake. Serious injuries reported in wrong-way crash on Lodge Freeway in Detroit, police say

The Michigan State Police is investigating a wrong-way crash on Lodge Freeway in Detroit that left "some" passengers hospitalized on Sunday, according to the agency. The crash happened around 1:20 a.m. on the southbound side of the freeway near Grand River Avenue. Investigators say a 27-year-old man driving a Chevrolet Impala was driving northbound in the southbound lanes and hit a Nissan passenger car head-on. The impact allegedly caused several other crashes involving five vehicles. "Some of [the] passengers suffered serious injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment," Michigan State Police said in a post on X Sunday morning. The man driving the Impala showed signs of impairment at the scene, according to police. Troopers requested that a blood draw be performed on him.

Motorcyclist killed following crash in Gardner late Saturday morning According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the 38-year-old man of Freeman, Missouri was heading westbound on Missouri Highway 2 east of 263rd Street in Freeman in a 2007 Subaru when he went off the right side of the road around 2 a.m. The vehicle then struck an embankment, went airborne, struck a rock bluff and flipped before coming to a rest upright.
