Aquarius Money Horoscope Today
Finances today are stable, but you must stay alert to hidden expenses. A boundary here might mean saying no to lending or not investing in something just because someone else is doing it.
Think carefully. Be honest about what your current limits are. You are not being selfish by choosing long-term peace. Save where you can and spend only where it truly feels aligned. Boundaries in money are as sacred as those in emotion.

Your health may benefit today from mental clarity. You might feel the urge to detox from social noise, long phone calls, or unnecessary meetings. Listen to that call. Your mind wants peace. This will also help any issues related to sleep, anxiety, or mild headaches. Try herbal teas or slow breathing exercises. Avoid multitasking. Let your body experience one thing at a time. Your health improves when you claim your space gently but firmly.

Rains and low yield hike prices of ambia bahar oranges

1 2 Nagpur: Monsoon rains and fungal yellowing have severely affected the ambia bahar orange crop in the Vidarbha region, particularly in Amravati district. This has sparked concerns of a sharp dip in yield during the season, which typically runs from September to December. Experts estimate that only 25–30% of the expected crop is likely to be harvested this year. In this scenario, farmers who have managed to protect their orchards from weather adversities and infections are now hoping for higher returns. Local growers said that prices may soar to a record Rs4,000–Rs5,000 per thousand fruits, owing to intense competition among traders for high-quality produce. In Shirsgaon Kasba, Chandur Bazar taluka, traders not just from Amravati, Warud, Morshi, and Achalpur, but also from Sausar (Madhya Pradesh), Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh), and Rajasthan, have shown strong interest in purchasing orange orchards, said farmer Pushpak Khapre. "This high-rate buying has created a joyful atmosphere among orange growers. However, since only one-third of the crop remains across the entire orange belt, the benefit may not reach most farmers," Khapre added. "This year, while flowering occurred in many orchards, it did not translate into fruit production. In January, citrus psyllid disease caused the drying of tree tips during the flowering and budding phase, leading to a significant gap between the number of shoots and actual fruit development," he further explained. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like No annual fees for life UnionBank Credit Card Apply Now Undo Earlier this year, the price of mrig bahar oranges had touched Rs55,000 per tonne. Experts now predict that by September, high-quality fruits may fetch up to Rs60 per kilogram. In Amravati district, oranges are cultivated over 82,378 hectares, of which around 65,000 hectares fall under the Ambia Bahar season. However, the yield is expected to plunge this year due to February–March temperatures rising to 40°C — a crucial period for fruit setting. The heat led to poor fruit formation and widespread fruit drop. Farmers have demanded that the insurance trigger period under the restructured weather-based fruit crop insurance scheme be extended. "As oranges are an annual crop, insurance coverage should be available year-round. Losses due to strong winds should also be included in the scheme," said Khapre, who also serves as a district-level representative for the Fruit Crop Insurance Scheme. Shridhar Thakre, director of MahaOrange, admitted that ambia bahar orange crop will be less this year. "Compared to previous years, only 20–25% of Ambia Bahar oranges remain this season. Farmers should receive an average price of Rs40,000 per tonne for good-quality fruits," he said. Additionally, unseasonal rains in May adversely affected Mrig Bahar orchards, further disrupting farmers' financial cycles."

RWITC members divided over devpt of clubhouse

Mumbai: Following the much-awaited nod from the BMC to build a multi-storey clubhouse, the 1,800-odd members of the Royal Western India Turf Club (RWITC), who enjoy voting rights, are divided over how to proceed with the proposed development of the new state-of-the-art turf clubhouse at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse. Some members are of the opinion that should there be a proposal to sponsor the construction of the modern clubhouse from Adar Poonawalla , CEO of the Serum Institute of India , as is being rumoured, it should not be accepted. These members said a new membership programme should be unveiled which will provide enough money to achieve the target of a swanky clubhouse. Then there are others who are of the opinion that Adar should be allowed to sponsor the construction while the income generated through the new memberships will add to the coffers of the club. There are also some who said that apart from accepting Adar's offer, the new membership should be opened in phases. "This way, membership charges can be enhanced on the basis of responses that we get," said one of them. Meanwhile, sources say that Adar's rumoured initial offer to sponsor the construction of the clubhouse on behalf of his father Cyrus Poonawalla , is likely to get shared by his uncle Zavaray Poonawalla who now wants to be part of the legacy that his elder brother's family may wish to leave in the new clubhouse. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 5 Books Warren Buffett Wants You To Read in 2025 Blinkist: Warren Buffett's Reading List Undo According to sources, the RWITC managing committee has received a letter in this regard signed jointly by Adar and Zavaray. TOI tried to reach both Adar and Zavaray for their reaction, but there was no response from either of them. Two years ago, Zavaray's son Yohan had funded nearly Rs 12 crore towards the renovation work of the Pune Turf Club House. Zavaray, the younger brother of Cyrus Poonawalla, had contributed in helping not only the RWITC survive the ill-effects of Covid-19, but he also lent a helping hand to other racing clubs in the country in fighting Covid-induced financial setbacks. He has spent crores of rupees in various forms of sponsorships at other racing clubs in the country over the past six years and continues to do so. Meanwhile, RWITC sources say Cyrus Poonawalla has also now offered Rs 16 crore to sponsor the Indian Derby for the next four years. It is for the first time that the Poonawalla family has decided to associate with the most prestigious race in the country which is run on the first Sunday of Feb every year.

Nagpur district sports complex set for boost as Govt pushes special cabinet-approved funding

1 2 Nagpur: The Maharashtra govt will seek special cabinet approval to release additional funding for the long-delayed Nagpur District Sports Complex in Kamptee and Narkhed Taluka Sports Facility, with revenue minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule directing officials to fast-track both budgetary and CSR-linked support. Chairing a key meeting with Sports Minister Dattatray Bharane and top bureaucrats on Friday, Bawankule instructed the Sports Department to draft an ordinance enabling the use of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds for infrastructure development. "To ensure Nagpur's sports policy doesn't stall, all required resources will be mobilised through cabinet clearance," he said. The Nagpur District Sports Complex, being developed on 19 acres at Mouza Gada in Kamptee, initially received administrative approval for Rs26.38 crore in March 2016. This was revised to Rs85.43 crore in November 2023. So far, Rs22.39 crore has been released, and Rs10.10 crore spent, with Rs2.80 crore parked with the Public Works Department and Rs9.47 crore still lying in the committee's bank account. An outstanding amount of Rs60.48 lakh remains to be disbursed. The enhanced blueprint includes a 300-bed hostel for boys and girls, a multipurpose hall, 25m and 50m shooting ranges, solar panels, water tanks, and playing fields for kabaddi, volleyball, kho-kho, box cricket, and archery. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Up to 70% off | Libas Purple Days Sale Libas Undo Ancillary amenities include changing rooms and gymnasiums. A request has also been made for an additional Rs62.43 crore, over and above the current grant ceiling, to finish the expanded project scope. Although the revised plan received administrative nod last December, it came with a caveat — any added facilities would be built by the committee through independent funding. As per norms, exceeding the grant ceiling requires prior cabinet approval, which officials said will now be formally sought. Meanwhile, several core amenities like the 400m track, badminton hall, football and hockey grounds, gymnasium, office, store room, toilets, and compound wall have been completed and will be handed over to the Public Works Department within a month, a statement issued by Bawankule's office said.
