Seth Rollins Expects To Be 'Out For An Extended Period'
While speaking on the Rich Eisen Show, Rollins detailed the moment the injury occurred and the steps he has taken since. He noted that the full extent of the injury is still unknown due to swelling, but based on how he feels, he is preparing for a long recovery.
"When I landed, I felt my knee kind of pop and buckle," Rollins said. "Monday, I was in Birmingham, Alabama where our specialists were at. We took a look at the knee through imaging.
It was a little too swollen, so we'll take another look hopefully in a week or two so that we can get a firm diagnosis and go from there. I'm not a doctor, but I know my body, and what I feel is that this is gonna have me out for an extended period of time."

Sights Set On A WrestleMania Return
Despite the setback, Rollins is already looking ahead to a potential return during WWE's biggest season of the year. He stated that while there is no firm timeline, he is optimistic about making it back for WrestleMania. It was also reported that the injury forced WWE to change the planned ending of his match against LA Knight on Saturday.
"I've always got WrestleMania in the back of my mind," Rollins said. "I'm like, can I make it back for WrestleMania season? I feel good about that, but beyond a firm timeline, I just don't know until we get a better answer on the MRI."
Rollins' injury comes at a pivotal time for his on-screen faction. This past Monday on Raw, Roman Reigns made his surprise return to WWE, attacking Rollins' stablemate Bron Breakker.
With Reigns seeking revenge against Rollins and Paul Heyman for the events of WrestleMania 41, Rollins' long-term absence leaves a major question mark over how the storyline will proceed.

WWE star Roman Reigns shuts down 6th kid rumors during hiatus
The post WWE star Roman Reigns shuts down 6th kid rumors during hiatus appeared first on ClutchPoints. Before making his epic return during Monday Night RAW on July 14, 2025, there were reports that WWE's Roman Reigns had his sixth kid while on hiatus. However, the 'Only Tribal Chief' has debunked those rumors. He took to TikTok to address the rumors. The caption of his post read, 'Five and done,' indicating he will not have another kid anytime soon. He also wrote, 'Addressing the rumors…' over the video. 'I'm done,' Reigns said. 'They [said] I was trying to catch up to Jacob [Fatu] or something? Five and done. I've done my job. I procreated. No more.' Reigns then fired back at those who called his hiatus a 'vacation.' He reassured them that he was still working when he wasn't seen in WWE. 'It wasn't a vacation! It was school 'til June, and then we started tutoring. Don't feel bad for me. Don't ever feel bad for me,' he responded. So, it does not appear those rumors are true. Reigns appears to be back in WWE for the long haul after his three-month hiatus. Expect to see a lot more of him leading into SummerSlam. How many kids does WWE Superstar Roman Reigns have? Reigns has five kids with his wife, Galina Becker. Their first daughter was born in December 2007. They then had two sets of twin boys in 2016 and 2020. His WWE career started in 2010 when he signed with their developmental brand, Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW). Reigns previously aspired to be an NFL player, going undrafted in the 2007 NFL Draft. After brief stints with the Minnesota Vikings and Jacksonville Jaguars, Reigns played a season in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He debuted in WWE in 2012 as part of the Shield with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. They remained together until Rollins turned on his stablemates in 2014. Once he became a singles star, WWE never looked back with Reigns as their top star. They pushed him when the audience rejected him. After his return in 2020 after taking a hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Reigns reinvented his character. He debuted the 'Tribal Chief' persona that he still uses today. During his 'Tribal Chief' run, he had a 1,316-day reign as Universal Champion. Along the way, he won the WWE Championship, unifying the titles. He eventually lost them to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40. UFC legend reveals Brock Lesnar's ‘banned' WWE status
The post UFC legend reveals Brock Lesnar's 'banned' WWE status appeared first on ClutchPoints. According to former UFC Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier, WWE star Brock Lesnar is on the 'banned list' amid his indefinite hiatus. If this is true, this could spell the end of Lesnar's professional wrestling career. During an interview on the MIghycast podcast, Cormier debunked the idea of facing Lesnar in WWE (1:13:00 mark). He claimed Lesnar was on a 'banned list,' though he didn't specify if it was from WWE, UFC, or their parent company, TKO. 'I mean, Brock is on the banned list right now,' Cormier revealed. 'Brock got into so much trouble… I ain't telling you on-air what Brock did, [but] Brock is in so much trouble.' That makes it sound like Lesnar will not be coming back to WWE anytime soon. Whether he is 'banned' from WWE or TKO altogether, it does not look good for him. Why is WWE star Brock Lesnar on the 'banned list'? Lesnar has not been seen in WWE since August 2023. He faced Cody Rhodes in the rubber match of their feud at SummerSlam. Afterward, he raised Rhodes' arm, seemingly passing the torch to the 'American Nightmare.' While he was supposed to return at the Royal Rumble in January 2024, Lesnar was pulled from his plans. This was due to a former WWE employee, Janel Grant, filing a lawsuit against Vince McMahon. Initially, Lesnar was not specifically named in the lawsuit. However, it was heavily implied that he was involved, as McMahon tried to traffic Grant to Lesnar during his contract negotiations to return to WWE in 2021. Later, in February 2025, Lesnar was officially named in the lawsuit. WWE and TKO have continued to withhold Lesnar from returning to the ring. It is unclear if he will ever get back in the squared circle. It would almost be a surprise at this point. Since coming back to wrestling in 2021, Lesnar has predominantly been a babyface. This was a drastic change from his previous tenures, during which he usually played the heel. Lesnar feuded with Roman Reigns over the Universal Championship upon his return. Their longstanding feud culminated at the 2022 SummerSlam event. After that, he had matches with Bobby Lashley, Omos, and Rhodes. Phil Mickelson's Attitude Toward Scottie Scheffler Evolves After The Open
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Phil Mickelson's relationship with Scottie Scheffler is taking an interesting turn. What began earlier this season as a streak of subtle jabs aimed at the World No. 1 is now turning into a steady stream of praise from the six-time major winner, who seems increasingly comfortable tipping off his cap to Scheffler's brilliance. (Photo by) More The tension escalated back to January, when the World No. 1 was recovering from a palm injury from last year's Christmas dinner. Returning with a cold start and five straight winless appearances, he invited questions about his form, and that's when Mickelson predicted that Scheffler would not "win in 2025 before the Ryder Cup." But the PGA Tour pro flipped the narrative in May, winning the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow. Mickelson, who missed the cut that week, was quick to acknowledge his misfire and congratulated Scheffler. Fast forwarding to Sunday, the 29-year-old added another major to his resume, winning the Open Championship at Royal Portrush, carding a total of −17 under par. He finished four shots ahead of Harris English, and a full 11 ahead of Mickelson, who tied for 56th. The victory gave Scheffler his third leg of the career Grand Slam, leaving only the U.S. Open to complete the set. Hours after the win, Mickelson once again tipped his cap. "Congrats to Scottie Scheffler on another impressive victory. So many iron shots were amazing and what a putting performance," he posted on X Sunday afternoon. Congrats to Scottie Scheffler on another impressive victory. So many irons shots were amazing and what a putting performance. 👏👏 — Phil Mickelson (@PhilMickelson) July 20, 2025 That post came shortly after Kevin Kisner revived Mickelson's early-season prediction. But this time, Lefty didn't duck the jab. Instead, he responded with a lengthy message. As for next, the 55-year-old will tee it up next at LIV Golf UK, set to take place at JCB Golf & Country Club from Friday to Sunday.
