Tamara Qaddoumi Explores Loss & Identity in Her New SIngle ‘The Murmur

A hypnotic new single that navigates grief, transformation, and self-discovery.
Mar 15, 2025
Tamara Qaddoumi returns with The Murmur, a deeply immersive track that takes listeners on a sonic journey through grief and harmony. Set for release on March 14, it serves as the first glimpse into her debut album, arriving April 25.
Born in Kuwait with Palestinian, Lebanese, and Scottish roots, Qaddoumi's music is shaped by her multicultural background and theatrical storytelling. The Murmur unravels the tension between sorrow and acceptance, shifting between delicate harmonies and layered soundscapes that pull the listener into an emotional unraveling.
Produced with Antonio Hajj, the track blends elements of trip-hop, dream pop, and electronic textures, weaving together haunting melodies with a sense of quiet intensity. It marks a new chapter in Qaddoumi's artistry, expanding on the experimental nature of her past work in Dust Bathing (2018), Soft Glitch (2021), and Sorry Signal (2024).
As the album's title track, The Murmur sets the tone for what's to come—a project that balances fragility and strength, all told through a sound that is both intimate and expansive.
Following the album release, Qaddoumi will embark on a European tour in May and June 2025, bringing her sound to audiences across Switzerland, Germany, and France.
The full album will be arriving April 25.

60 Killed in Bus Crash in Afghanistan

Israa Farhan Around 60 people have been killed after a passenger bus overturned and caught fire in Herat province, western Afghanistan, according to local media reports. Afghan police radio, citing local officials, confirmed that the bus was carrying travellers returning from a neighboring country when the accident occurred. Rescue efforts were hampered by the region's rugged terrain, making access to the crash site difficult and delaying medical assistance for the injured. Eyewitnesses reported that the blaze spread rapidly because the vehicle was transporting flammable materials, intensifying the scale of the disaster. This tragedy comes less than a year after two separate collisions on the Kabul–Kandahar highway in Ghazni province left 44 people dead and 76 others injured on 19 December. read more Gold prices rise, 21 Karat at EGP 3685 NATO's Role in Israeli-Palestinian Conflict US Expresses 'Strong Opposition' to New Turkish Military Operation in Syria Shoukry Meets Director-General of FAO Lavrov: confrontation bet. nuclear powers must be avoided News Iran Summons French Ambassador over Foreign Minister Remarks News Aboul Gheit Condemns Israeli Escalation in West Bank News Greek PM: Athens Plays Key Role in Improving Energy Security in Region News One Person Injured in Explosion at Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid Videos & Features Story behind Trending Jessica Radcliffe Death Video News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters Arts & Culture "Jurassic World Rebirth" Gets Streaming Date News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia Business Egyptian Pound Undervalued by 30%, Says Goldman Sachs Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Arts & Culture South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt News The Jessica Radcliffe Orca Attack? 100% Fake and AI-Generated

Israeli Army Orders Evacuation of Jabalia Residents as Preparations for Gaza Offensive Intensify

Ahmed Emam The Israeli army has ordered residents of the Jabalia al-Nazla area in northern Gaza to evacuate and head toward the southern part of the Strip, according to AlQahera News. The evacuation order comes as the military announced that five divisions, comprising tens of thousands of soldiers, will take part in a large-scale offensive on Gaza City. Israeli military statements, reported by AlQahera News, indicated that the preliminary phase of the Gaza invasion has already begun, with concentrated operations launched in the Zaytoun neighborhood and the Jabalia area. The developments mark a significant escalation in the conflict, raising fears of intensified humanitarian suffering in Gaza, where civilians are already facing dire conditions amid ongoing bombardments and restrictions on aid delivery. read more Gold prices rise, 21 Karat at EGP 3685 NATO's Role in Israeli-Palestinian Conflict US Expresses 'Strong Opposition' to New Turkish Military Operation in Syria Shoukry Meets Director-General of FAO Lavrov: confrontation bet. nuclear powers must be avoided News Iran Summons French Ambassador over Foreign Minister Remarks News Aboul Gheit Condemns Israeli Escalation in West Bank News Greek PM: Athens Plays Key Role in Improving Energy Security in Region News One Person Injured in Explosion at Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid Videos & Features Story behind Trending Jessica Radcliffe Death Video News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters Arts & Culture "Jurassic World Rebirth" Gets Streaming Date News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia Business Egyptian Pound Undervalued by 30%, Says Goldman Sachs Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Arts & Culture South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt News The Jessica Radcliffe Orca Attack? 100% Fake and AI-Generated
