Major country star says he is 'going into debt' over Las Vegas residency
The scale of Zac Brown's upcoming Las Vegas residency is coming with a hefty price tag. The 46-year-old country music sensation — who just announced his engagement — will play four shows at Sphere in December, coinciding with his Love & Fear album release. Speaking with Us Weekly in anticipation of the performances, Zac said he's 'just going into debt to make it happen.' He added about him and his band: 'It's a big moment in time and it's like, for us, I want to be among the names of the Grateful Dead and the Rolling Stones and the bands that take that lifelong career impact fan journey to be able to do that. This is our statement to try to step into that.' The music artist recently announced two more shows at Sphere, set to take place January 9 and 10. Zac is up for any challenge preparing for his gigs may present. 'Whatever adversity, I'm just like, "OK, bring it,"' he said with a can-do attitude. 'There's lots of forces that are always trying to distract you from what you're doing, and you just got to just keep plowing, keep going,' the star told the outlet. He also teased that concertgoers will feel 'every emotion that you can contain' upon the album's release and Las Vegas shows. The Georgia native wants his fans to 'feel this sense of awe' when they arrive at Sphere to see him perform. 'I hope they feel wonder,' the Tie Up hitmaker shared. 'Unpredictability is something we use in our live shows a lot. I love pulling out covers that no one would ever expect us to play, that's super fun. This is the same thing visually, sonically — everything we're doing.' And the musician gave details about the progress he's made so far. 'We have all the audio finished. We're putting the video pieces together, stitching it together. I'm finishing the story,' Zac said. 'I'm telling a lot of personal things about my life that I've never shared before. Everything that's hard that we go through as human beings always ends up making us better in some way,' he detailed. He expressed, 'Taking people on a journey through things that are uncomfortable and then creating that dissonance and then that tension and release is really the art of what we're doing. 'I haven't seen anything like what we're doing there. So, it's really exciting.' The update comes amid the singer's shock engagement to jewelry designer Kendra Scott. On Thursday the couple revealed to People that they are set to wed, just a few months after debuting their relationship on the red carpet at The American Music Awards in May. 'We are so happy and grateful that we found each other,' the duo shared with the outlet. Zac has five children with his ex-wife, Shelly Brown, while Scott has two adult sons with her ex, John Scott, and a young son with ex Matt Davis. The country crooner was most recently married to Kelly Yazdi from August 2023-December 2023.

Oasis dedicate song to Ozzy Osbourne as they begin series of gigs in London
Liam Gallagher told tens of thousands of fans of his pride as the band graced the stage at Wembley Stadium for the first time in more than a decade. Just three songs into their much-anticipated appearance, he declared the crowd was 'f****** beautiful', having bowed to the sea of raised arms before him. Liam and brother Noel played with their band for the first of seven nights at the stadium on Friday – with five shows over the next week and two more scheduled in September. It was the first time they had appeared together onstage at the London venue since July 12 2009, when they performed during their Dig Out Your Soul tour. Towards the end of the gig, they paid tribute to Osbourne. Lead singer Liam said: 'I wanna dedicate this one to Ozzy Osbourne, rock 'n' roll star.' The Black Sabbath star's death at the age of 76 was announced earlier this week. Oasis superfans in bucket hats and branded T-shirts had packed the Tube en route to the gig from earlier in the day, with international accents denoting the band's worldwide popularity. As with previous gigs Liam and Noel walked onstage hand in hand, opened with Hello and proceeded to belt out many of their classics including Some Might Say and Morning Glory. The packed-out stadium was in full voice throughout and at one point Liam threw a tambourine into the jubilant crowd, while later positioning one on top of his head. Despite pledging to concentrate on his vocals rather than talking – telling those gathered 'every time I open my mouth at these gigs I seem to get myself into a lot of trouble so I'm just going to do the singing' – Liam later engaged in some light football banter. The well-known Manchester City fan appeared to poke fun at Arsenal fans in the crowd, joking about their position in the Premier league. Phone camera torches lit up the stadium as darkness fell and crowd-pleasers Wonderwall, Don't Look Back In Anger and Champagne Supernova closed the gig. At various points Noel thanked the crowd, with Liam telling them they had been 'amazing', ahead of fireworks erupting into the London sky. Friday's show – the eighth of the tour – followed a five-night run of homecoming gigs in Manchester's Heaton Park and the two opening shows in Cardiff earlier this month. Following the first part of their Wembley stint, the band will head up north to Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium followed by Dublin's Croke Park. The group will head to Japan, South Korea, South America, Australia and North America later in the year. Oasis announced their reunion tour in August of last year – 16 years after their dramatic split in 2009 which saw Noel quit following a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris. While fans were excited at the Britpop band's reunion, many were left outraged after some standard tickets in the UK and Ireland jumped from £148 to £355. The controversy prompted the Government and the UK's competition watchdog to pledge to look at the use of dynamic pricing.

Johnny Depp makes surprise appearance at Alice Cooper's London gig as they perform Black Sabbath's Paranoid dedicated to Ozzy Osbourne
Johnny Depp joined Alice Cooper on stage at his gig in London's O2 Arena to honour the late Ozzy Osbourne in a special tribute on Friday night. Ozzy, nicknamed the Prince of Darkness, died on Tuesday at the age of 76 just weeks after he took to the stage for his final show with Black Sabbath, with his family confirming the devastating news. The Hollywood legend, 62, and rocker Vincent Damon Furnier, known by his stage name Alice Cooper, 77, paid tribute to the legendary musician as they performed Black Sabbath's Paranoid. Depp made a surprise appearance for the heartbreaking tribute, rocking out on his guitar to a medley of songs. Cooper screamed at the crowd 'Let's hear it for Ozzy!', before belting out some hits. Earlier this week, Cooper dedicated his Cardiff show to Ozzy as he took to the stage with his band in Wales. 'Well, we all know that time is going to take us rockers, but when the giants fall, it's really hard to accept,' he said on stage. 'Even though everybody saw it coming with Ozzy, it just took our breath away when it happened. 'So Ozzy and family - your records and your music and your legend and all that you brought - the humour to the rock business - will live on forever and we're gonna miss you man.' Elsewhere Cooper and his band said: 'The whole world is mourning Ozzy tonight. Over his long career, he earned immense respect among his peers and from fans around the world as an unmatched showman and cultural icon. 'I always saw Ozzy as a cross between the prince of darkness, which is the persona his fans saw, and the court jester. That was the side that his family and friends saw. 'He was and will continue to be a rock n roll legend. Rock n Roll is a family and a fraternity. When we lose one of our own it bleeds. I wish I would have gotten to know my brother Ozzy better. 'Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and the rest of the Ozzy brood - our prayers are with you tonight. A titanic boulder has crashed, but rock will roll on.' He signed off an Instagram post with: 'Rest easy Ozzy and we'll see you on the other side! - Alice, Sheryl, Chuck, Ryan, Tommy, Nita, Glen and our entire crew.' MailOnline revealed that an air ambulance was called to Ozzy's grand country home as paramedics battled to save his life for two hours. Friends told the Mail's Alison Boshoff that his heartbroken wife Sharon may now bury Ozzy in the gardens of the 350-acre estate in an intimate family funeral, as she is 'too frail' to go through a larger, public service, leaving friends 'terrified' for her. At the other end of London, Liam and Noel Gallagher paid homage to Ozzy at night one of Oasis gigs at London's Wembley Stadium on Friday. The Gallagher brothers respectfully honoured the legendary rock star by singing Rock 'N' Roll Star in front of a huge image of Ozzy. In videos shared across social media of the tribute, Liam said: 'Liam said: 'I want to dedicate this next one to Ozzy Osbourne, Rock 'N' Roll Star'.
