'I lost, I think, like 60 pounds,' James revealed. 'I didn't even take vitamins. It cleansed everything out of me.'

Jelly Roll Deepfake Used in Car Contest Scam: ‘I Really Thought It Was [Him]'

A Springfield man says he was scammed out of money by a fake account using artificial intelligence to impersonate country music star Jelly Roll. Ronnie Flint told 2 NEWS he was stunned at how convincing the scam appeared, and he now wants to warn others before they fall victim. According to Flint, the ordeal began when he received a Facebook message claiming he had won $50,000 and a brand-new car. The account then sent him a video that appeared to show Jelly Roll asking him to cover shipping costs for the prizes. At first, Flint was skeptical—even after the page sent him what they claimed was the singer's official driver's license. But a second video shocked him. "When they sent the second video where he actually said my full name, that got me. I was like, wow, it really is Jelly Roll. He said my name." Believing the videos were real, Flint sent the scammers $70 in Apple gift cards, even though he's on a fixed income: "I even told him that I'm on disability. You know, this is all the money that I have for the rest of the month." A family member eventually warned Flint that it was a scam, and he filed a police report. However, the fake account has continued to message him, demanding more money. "They're thinking I'm going to send them another $30 on the 3rd, which ain't going to happen," Flint told 2 NEWS. "That's why I called you guys, because I want to put it out there because maybe somebody else already fell for it. I don't want them to fall for it the way I did." Audra McDonald claims fan followed her home, demanded autograph after ‘Gypsy' performance: ‘Big no-no'

Some people. Audra McDonald, 55, has revealed that a fan allegedly followed her home from the Majestic Theatre and demanded an autograph after one of her last 'Gypsy' performances. 7 Audra McDonald during the opening night curtain call for the new revival of the musical 'Gypsy' on Broadway at the Majestic Theatre in New York City on December 19, 2024. Audra McDonald/Instagram The singer and actress, who took her final bow in the hit Broadway play Sunday night, detailed the startling encounter in a lengthy Instagram video one day before her last show. McDonald said that the determined theatergoer 'snuck around and found' where she exited the venue and trailed her 'all the way' to where she was staying. She added that the fan 'came into the building, and was uncomfortably close' and 'when I finally got some security to help me, their response was, 'Hey, I've come all the way,' and named some town, some city that they came all the way from.' 7 Audra McDonald in an Instagram video shared on Saturday, Aug. 16. audramcdonald/Instagram 'That is crossing a big ol' boundary. And just want to call that out,' McDonald said. 'That's a big no-no. That's now messing with my safety. And it's not right.' McDonald used the scary encounter to share a lesson about theater etiquette and to clarify that while some Broadway actors greet fans outside after a performance, others do not. 'There are a lot of reasons that performers don't do the stage door,' the Tony winner explained. 'There have been shows that I've done it and shows where I haven't done it.' 7 Audra McDonald in an Instagram video shared on Saturday, Aug. 16. Audra McDonald/Instagram 'When you see an actor leave the stage door, if they don't stop, leave them alone,' she added. 'There is a reason that they're not stopping, and it has nothing to do with you.' Meanwhile, McDonald returned to Instagram on Monday to 'say goodbye' to Mama Rose, whom she portrayed in 'Gypsy' for an outstanding 28 previews and 261 regular performances. The 'Gilded Age' star, who first took on the role in 2024, became the first black actress to ever play Mama Rose on Broadway. It also earned her a 2025 Tony nomination for Best Actress in a Musical. 7 Audra McDonald performs a number from 'Gypsy' during the 78th Annual Tony Awards at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on June 8, 2025. 'I don't even have the words to express how much I love them all.' 'My head is full of gorgeous memories, my body is tired, and my heart is full of nothing but gratitude and love,' she concluded. Before McDonald's final 'Gypsy' performance, and before her startling encounter with a fan, the 'Beauty and the Beast' star was targeted by fellow Broadway stalwart Patti LuPone. 7 Audra McDonald performs a number from 'Gypsy' at the 78th Annual Tony Awards in New York City on June 8, 2025. REUTERS Lupone, 76, had bashed both McDonald and Kecia Lewis in a scathing sit-down with The New Yorker in May. After the 'Agatha All Along' actress said that McDonald was 'not a friend,' she called Lewis, 59, a 'bitch' who 'doesn't know what the f–k she's talking about.' McDonald addressed LuPone's vicious remarks during an interview with Gayle King on 'CBS Mornings,' and she said that she was 'surprised' by her colleague's comments. 7 Audra McDonald performs 'Rose's Turn' from 'Gypsy' during the 78th Tony Awards at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on June 8, 2025. 'I haven't seen her in about 11 years because I've been busy with life and stuff,' she added. 'So, I don't know what rift she's talking about. You'd have to ask her.' More than 500 Broadway artists then signed an open letter condemning LuPone over her comments against McDonald and Lewis.

Frances Tiafoe, Madison Keys among star-studded pairings in new-look US Open mixed doubles event

When it came to finding a partner for the newly formatted mixed doubles event at this year's U.S. Open, it seemed like a no-brainer for World No. 6-ranked Madison Keys. The reigning Australian Open champion is partnered with Frances Tiafoe, with whom Keys shares an almost sibling-like relationship. 'It was pretty easy. When they announced the new format and all of the things, he was kind of the first person that popped into my head,' Keys told The Post. 'I've known him for many, many years. We lived in the same apartment building for a very long time, and I feel like I basically had to try to keep him alive. I just really enjoy being around him. I really like giving him s–t and just kind of poking fun at him. And I feel like he's also obviously a phenomenal tennis player. 'It just felt like if I was going to do this, I wanted to do it with someone who I was going to just have the most fun with.' 3 Frances Tiafoe reacts during an Aug. 13 match. Getty Images 3 Madison Keys is pictured during an Aug. 13 match. Imagn Images Keys and Tiafoe are among the 16 pairings taking part in this year's event, which has gone through a drastic shake-up that has been met with intrigue and criticism. The tournament begins Tuesday with a field that was shrunk from 32 to 16 and includes some of tennis' top players in the world, including 10 major singles champions and a combined 54 Grand Slam titles among them. Carlos Alcaraz is playing with Emma Raducanu; Venus Williams will play with Reilly Opelka; and Jessica Pegula is teaming up with Jack Draper, to name a few. Jannik Sinner is slated to play with Katerina Siniakova, but after Sinner retired from the Cincinnati Open final on Monday due to illness, there is some question whether he'll still compete in the mixed doubles in Queens. The mixed doubles will take place over a two-day period — the first two rounds will be held Tuesday, followed by the semifinals and final Wednesday — all at Arthur Ashe and Louis Armstrong stadium, with the winning pair taking home a $1 million shared prize. Teams will only need to win four games in order to win a set, and there will be no advantage scoring. 3 Frances Tiafoe and Madison Keys are pictured after a December 2022 doubles match. AP In the final, it will remain a best-of-three-set match, but the team will need to win six games to clinch the set. The new format hasn't come without its critics, in particular, those deemed doubles specialists, who are missing out on getting to play in the revamped tournament. Sem Verbeek, the Wimbledon mixed doubles champion, told BBC that his 'heart is bleeding' over the format change for the U.S. Open event. While the superstar pairings will draw more attention, it leaves a lot of doubles specialists missing out on competing. 'I'm not going to actively root against it for it not to be a success,' he said. 'The positive I can think of is that there's going to be more people that can see the top single stars earlier in the tournament when they are maybe a bit more accessible to the public. But as a doubles athlete, my heart is bleeding.'
