EXCLUSIVE Married At First Sight's Carina Mirabile risks a wardrobe malfunction as she leads the reality stars at Aura nightclub's grand reopening

Daily Mail08-06-2025
Sydney 's nightlife got its groove back last night as Aura – the club formerly known as ARQ – flung open its doors with a star-studded launch party on Saturday night.
A who's who of reality TV turned up in force, rocking plunging necklines and eye-popping outfits that ensured all eyes were on them from the moment they hit the carpet.
Married At First Sight star Carina Mirabile was impossible to miss, arriving draped in a dramatic chocolate-brown fur coat over a plunging black halter gown that left little to the imagination.
If the recent furor over her Fashion Week attire bothered her, Carina certainly didn't show it as she brushed off the controversy with a confident smile and bold beauty look.
The fur coat drama that saw an official complaint filed against her at Australian Fashion Week (where real fur is banned) was clearly yesterday's news.
From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop.
Carina had insisted at the time: 'It's not real fur, bought from a vintage store in New York. I wouldn't wear anything that's not ethically sourced.'
In a look this risqué yet refined on Saturday night, Carina signalled she's moved on and is dressed to impress.
The reality TV glam squad was out in full force.
Love Island's Margarita Smith also stunned in a strapless blush pink gown that hugged her curves, oozing Old Hollywood meets influencer chic.
Posing arm-in-arm with her were two Love Triangle bombshells bringing their own wow factor.
Marisa Salazar dazzled in a sheer blue lace dress that showed off a crystal-studded bra and plenty of leg, while Jazmin Burke turned heads in pink dress.
The trio's extreme cleavage and high-fashion flair set flashbulbs into a frenzy as they laughed and pouted for the cameras.
There was nothing shy about these ensembles, but the vibe remained playful and tastefully on-trend, proving that sheer lace and confidence can go hand in hand.
MAFS firecracker Cyrell Paule was spotted laughing and chatting with her partner, Love Island alum Eden Dally, the pair turning heads as a power couple among the VIPs.
Also in the mix were MAFS grooms Adrian Aranouzou, Ryan Donnelly, and Tony Mojanovski, who happily posed for selfies with partygoers – proving that once the drama of the show wraps, the bromance lives on.
Travel Guides fan-favourite Bri Auty also made an appearance, bringing her signature bubbly energy to the dance floor.
Not to be outdone, the style spectrum continued with an eclectic mix of edgy, elegant and retro vibes.
DJ Shiralee Coleman – who doubled as the night's soundtrack maestro - rocked a high-gloss black latex mini-dress adorned with dramatic chain accents.
With her glossy locks and fierce stance, Shiralee's look was part rockstar, and all attitude.
Meanwhile, socialite and fashionista Suzan Mutesi embraced bold colour, glowing in fuchsia satin that popped under the neon lights.
And '90s it girl Tali Jatali proved style only gets better with age - flaunting her toned frame in a peach crochet crop top and matching flared pants combo.
The nostalgic crochet two-piece put a fresh spin on boho meets clubwear, and Tali accessorised it with a megawatt smile, reminding everyone that she's still got it in spades.
Sydney's clubbers were reminded that they weren't just partying at a trendy new hotspot – they were witnessing the rebirth of an icon.
Aura stands on the site of the legendary ARQ nightclub, a Darlinghurst institution that ruled Oxford Street for 26 years as the epicentre of the city's queer nightlife.
Under its new name and a chic makeover, the venue paid homage to that legacy while ushering in a new era.

Pregnant Rihanna shows off unique maternity style in striped pajamas and quirky shoes while out in LA

Rihanna showed off her maternity style as she stepped out for an errand run in Los Angeles over the weekend. The 37-year-old Diamonds singer - who is expecting her third child with partner A$AP Rocky - was also joined by her son RZA, three, for the lowkey outing on Sunday. Back in May, the performer announced her pregnancy during the 2025 MET Gala as she unveiled her growing baby bump during the star-studded festivities. For her latest excursion, Rihanna sported a pink and white-striped pajamas set from her Savage x Fenty brand. She additionally slipped into a pair of pink ballet flats and easily carried a cream-colored purse over her left shoulder. A patterned scarf was placed on top of her head and the songstress further glammed up the look by adding flashy necklaces as well as a pair of black shades. An eye-catching watch was worn on her left wrist and Rihanna was also seen carrying a water bottle in her hand to help her stay hydrated. The singer was spotted strolling through the bustling city and at one point, she also stood closely next to her eldest son. The Grammy winner shares RZA as well as son Riot, two, with A$AP Rocky - whom she was confirmed to be dating in 2020. As she prepares to add another addition to their growing family, Rihanna has been showcasing her maternity style on various outings. Last week, the star put her growing baby bump on display wearing a pink hoodie as well as low-waisted denim jeans during an outing in Beverly Hills. She slipped into tan boots and opted for flashy jewelry while her dark locks were pulled up into a chic up do. And earlier this month, Rihanna opted for an eccentric ensemble and donned a $2,845 Spring/Summer 2001 Vintage Issey Miyake dress that was made of colorful material and a dramatic neckline. The star additionally wore a pair of gray and neon green sneakers to complete the look. The singer was spotted strolling through the bustling city and at one point, she also stood closely next to her eldest son The Umbrella singer previously opened up about her maternity fashion during a past interview with Vogue in 2022 when she was pregnant with her first son RZA. 'When I found out I was pregnant, I thought to myself, "There's no way I'm going to go shopping in no maternity aisle." 'I'm sorry - it's too much fun to get dressed up. I'm not going to let that part disappear because my body is changing.' She also added, 'I'm hoping that we were able to redefine what's considered "decent" for pregnant women. 'My body is doing incredible things right now, and I'm not going to be ashamed of that. This time should feel celebratory. Because why should you be hiding your pregnancy?' Rihanna announced that she is expecting baby number three while attending the star-studded MET Gala in May. She initially unveiled her growing baby bump before glamming up for the annual event in NYC, and later offered her thoughts on her pregnancy while walking the red carpet. 'I'm shockingly feeling okay and not too overwhelmed at the moment,' she told Entertainment Tonight. 'I mean at first it was kind of like, "Ahhh."' Rihanna also explained that she would continue to work on her ninth studio album and said there could possibly be 'a couple videos. But I can sing!' Her partner A$AP Rocky also gushed about the pregnancy news at the MET Gala while talking to the Associated Press. 'It feels amazing, you know,' the rapper told the publication. 'It's time that we show the people what we was cooking up. 'And I'm glad everybody's happy for us 'cause we definitely happy, you know,' he continued. Last month in July, Rihanna made her red carpet debut with her two sons as they attended the premiere of Smurfs in Los Angeles - and also opened up about her growing family during the event. During an interview with Extra at the screening, she opened up about her little ones joining her. 'I'm excited for tonight. Tonight is going to be fun. We get to watch the movie together for the first time. I get to watch it in its full completion. So, that should be interesting,' she expressed. When questioned how RZA and Riot feel about another addition to their growing family, Rihanna said they were 'delighted' followed by laughter. However, she remained coy when asked if she was possibly going to welcome a baby girl. 'You'll have to wait and see,' the songstress said, but later added that she has 'always wanted a girl.' And when asked if the name of her third child could also start with the letter 'R,' Rihanna replied, 'I mean, of course. It's tradition at this point.'

Whether worn as a shoulder bag, carried by the top handle, or styled as a clutch, Sloane transitions seamlessly from day to night. 'I needed to look the part, but I didn't want (nor could I afford) to spend $3000 to do it,' Upton says. With an Italian heritage, Upton knew high-quality leather didn't have to cost thousands, and so the idea for Vestirsi ('dressed up' in Italian) was born. 'I set off to my grandparents' hometown to find the best leather suppliers and the most skilled leather artisans, in the hope I could create this missing 'middle ground' handbag range myself.' ' Bella was one of the first bags I ever launched, and I poured so much thought into getting it just right,' Upton says. 'I wanted something that was elegant, functional, and affordable - a piece that didn't compromise. I had no idea it would take off the way it did.' The design has been a firm favourite for fashion editors and customers within the Vestirsi range - selling out repeatedly - and Upton says the latest design updates have made it more beloved than ever. ' Updating Bella to ensure it was adjustable and suitable for women of all heights, launching it in multiple sizes and transforming it to be a true 3-in-1 was all about listening to our community and giving them even more versatility - and the response has absolutely blown us away.' The Vestirsi handbag collection includes leather crossbody bags, clutches, totes, structured work bags, phone holders, and suede designs. The brand donates $1 from every sale to one of three Australian charity partners supporting women's mental health programs and initiatives. Customers can choose where the donation from their purchase is directed at checkout, selecting between Beyond Blue, Women's Community Shelters, or the Australian Childhood Foundation.

TV tonight: Tommy Fury reflects on the worst year of his life

9pm, BBC Three Tommy Fury – half-brother of Tyson – has had 'the worst year of my life'. Last August, Molly-Mae Hague publicly announced their breakup five years after meeting on Love Island and having baby Bambi together. It forced him to reassess his relationship with alcohol; the couple are now reunited. Good for him! But this fly-on-the-wall series is pretty uneventful until things finally spice up with a hilariously pathetic verbal spat between men at a pre-match press conference. Hollie Richardson 8pm, Channel 4More from Denise Van Outen's series in which she examines the pointless conundrum: could you swap the luxury supermarket for a weekly shop at the discount store? The Osbornes put it to the test this week, and they've got a big kids' party to buy supplies for. Uh oh. HR 9pm, BBC One'How hard can it be? Just make things smaller …' The remaining sewers are optimistic for children's week as they start by making dungarees. For the final task, they need to create an outfit inspired by what the young models want to be when they grow up – including a beekeeper, a politician and a circus ringmaster. HR 9pm, Channel 4The hairbuns are ginormous, the lipstick undefeatable and the anxiety never-ending as this hammy flight attendant thriller continues. Jo (Katherine Kelly) is busy juggling blackmailers' demands and efforts to get her son out of prison when she finds out she is due to become a grandmother. Hannah J Davies 9pm, Channel 5 The final episode of a series that has proved that life in the Roman city was anything but idyllic. Dan Snow and Kate Lister explore law and order, Pompeii style. Muggings and street fights were surprisingly common, despite horrific punishments that included crucifixion and being placed in a sack full of wild animals. Phil Harrison 10pm, Sky Max After his lunar jailbreak, Harry (Alan Tudyk) is back on Earth but stuck in doughy human form with zero access to his alien superpowers – hardly ideal when there is a killer Mantid on the loose. But while season four of this offbeat sci-fi has ramped up the peril, there is thankfully still room for slapstick and general silliness. Graeme Virtue And Then We Danced (Levan Akin, 2019), 1.50am, Channel 4'There is no sex in Georgian dance!' The strictures of tradition – choreographically and sexually – come down heavily on Merab (an affecting Levan Gelbakhiani), a student dancer at the Georgian National Ensemble, where a 'masculine' performance style is the rule. His attraction to new boy/rival Irakli (Bachi Valishvili), which may be mutual, further complicates his feelings about his art and life. Levan Akin's 2019 film – do check out his more recent trans drama Crossing – is a tender, troubling coming-of-age tale set in a world where difference is only tolerated at the margins of society. Simon Wardell Hi, Mom! (Brian De Palma, 1970), 3.10am, Talking Pictures TV This early Brian De Palma effort from 1970 shows the New York-based director playing around with some of his influences (Godard, Hitchcock) in a lively if slightly scattergun satire. Robert De Niro – himself not fully formed as an actor – plays a voyeuristic film-maker trying to make a movie by spying on his neighbours in the apartment block opposite. This devolves into a bizarre mockumentary about a radical theatre group staging an experience called Be Black, Baby, which features paint and an education in racial inequality. SW The Hundred Cricket: Trent Rockets Women v Manchester Originals Women 2.45pm, BBC Two. The men's match follows at 6pm. Tennis: US Open 10.15pm, Sky Sports Main Event Day one of the mixed doubles competition.
