WWE RAW: Becky Lynch Humiliates Nikki Bella With John Cena Reference
Bella was embarrassed at Monday Night Raw in Brooklyn when Lynch referenced John Cena. Lynch, celebrating her SummerSlam win, humiliated Bella, sparking a confrontation.
Nikki Bella's appearance for Monday Night Raw at the Barclays Centre in Brooklyn, New York, on August 4 resulted in embarrassment for the WWE wrestler as she was subjected to a reference to the legendary John Cena. The incident saw women's Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch humiliate Cena's ex-girlfriend by mentioning his famous 'You can't see him" line inside the ring, amidst loud cheers from a packed crowd in New York.
As the feud unfolded at Raw, Lynch came out to address her triumph at the SummerSlam 2025, where she defeated Lyra Valkyria and defended her Intercontinental Championship belt. The result meant that Lyra could no longer challenge Lynch for the prized silverware as long as she remained champion. For Becky Lynch, however, Raw was an opportunity to express her desire to take on new competitors for the belt she proudly adorned. Just as the champion opened up about eyeing a fresh challenge for the title, Nikki Bella's music hit the arena.
speechless rn holy shhhhhhhh….. 😲😳 pic.twitter.com/UiVvMh8bvs — WWE (@WWE) August 5, 2025
Bella entered the ring and confronted Lynch, telling her she was proud of all her accomplishments and equally fine handing over the women's division to her after stepping away. But The Man turned out to be a disappointment and has handcuffed the women's division. Things took a personal turn when Nikki Bella called Becky Lynch a liar, just like her husband, stating that the only difference is that Seth Rollins' lies are a little more believable.
In response, Lynch claimed she and Seth are the greatest WWE couple of all time and tried to get under Bella's skin by sarcastically saying Bella and Cena could've held the tag. But the WWE Hall of Famer and her legendary ex-partner are no longer together. 'Oh wait, you can't see him anymore," Becky Lynch said, while doing the famous Cena move in front of her. As is known, Bella and Cena were in a relationship for several years, parts of which also played out fondly in WWE episodes, before the couple got separated in April 2018, just weeks before their wedding.
Fuming inside, Nikki Bella eventually challenged Becky Lynch for the Intercontinental Championship match. The segment then ended with Lynch punching Nikki in the face, providing a snapshot to fans of what to expect from their fight.

Anupam Kher breaks silence on Saiyaara dominating Tanvi The Great at box office: 'Agar paisa hi sab kuch hota...'
Comparisons and competition are unavoidable when two movies are released at roughly the same time. That's precisely what happened when Mohit Suri 's elegant romantic drama Saiyaara and Anupam Kher 's touching drama Tanvi The Great opened in theaters on the same day. Tanvi The Great failed to achieve the same level of commercial success as the latter, which dominated the box office with over Rs 500 crore and captured the hearts of the public with its music and youthful star cast. However, it isn't keeping Anupam Kher up at night. He believes that movies are about feelings rather than profits. When asked if he believes the Saiyaara craze is to blame for his film's poor performance, the veteran actor responded, "I don't believe that's true," in an interview with News18. 'A few years down the line, when someone will ask you what are your five favorite films are, you won't name the ones based on which of these movies made a business worth crores." The actor continued, "You'll name the ones which touched your hearts." 'Maybe Tanvi the Great didn't mint much money, but it is still priceless. I recently met a lady outside the theater who hugged me tightly and started crying, saying this was the best film she has ever watched," Kher added. Kher's remarks provided a much-needed break in a society that is fixated on numbers. 'You don't value everything based only on money. Agar paisa hi sab kuch hota, to phir log hamesha five-star hotel me hi khate na, dhaba koi kyu jata?" He revealed that he firmly supports his film in spite of the poor collections. 'My film is outstanding commercially," he stated. Tanvi The Great is subtly capturing hearts, while Saiyaara continues to rule the screen thanks to its box office power and Gen-Z appeal. Anupam Kher is the film's producer and director. He co-stars with Iain Glen. On July 18, 2025, Tanvi the Great was released in theaters.

Saiyaara Actor Varun Badola Takes Dig At Film's PR Team: 'They Went Overboard With IV Drips'
Saiyaara star Varun Badola reacts to viral theatre frenzy, saying PR team went overboard with IV drip stunts and bangles-breaking antics. Calls success real. Ahaan Panday's debut film Saiyaara may be breaking box office records, but not everyone is on board with how the film has been promoted. Veteran actor Varun Badola, who played Ahaan's father in the romantic drama, has taken a subtle yet scathing dig at the film's PR machinery. The Mohit Suri directorial, also starring Aneet Padda, has now crossed the Rs 500 crore mark globally, with over Rs 300 crore earned in India alone. While its box office run has been historic, Saiyaara also went viral for dramatic audience reactions — fans fainting, crying uncontrollably, tearing their shirts, and even showing up to theatres hooked to IV drips. While producer Akshaye Widhani and director Suri have maintained that the reactions were organic and not planted, Varun Badola offered a more grounded take in an interview with Screen. 'When we were working on the film, we hadn't thought it would get so big… But on the third day of the release, when the film blew up at the box office, we realized it had gone big. I still haven't watched Saiyaara," he revealed. Commenting on the viral videos, Badola didn't hold back: 'By the third or fourth day, the film was being talked about. I saw the euphoria on Instagram. Log jo chudiyaan tod rahe hai, chaatiyaan peet rahe hai (People were breaking bangles and beating their chests). I think the promotions team went a little overboard… putting IV drips. Those people must have been told to give content. Thank god, people didn't get their legs broken and go crawling to see the film." Despite his candid remarks, Badola acknowledged the film's real impact. 'It's okay. We understand promoting the film, but it's good only up to a certain level. However, the film cannot earn so much money just based on Instagram promotions. People have gone and seen the film, and they have loved it," he concluded. With Saiyaara continuing its golden run, Ahaan Panday has officially arrived in Bollywood. Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. Is Hulu shutting down? Are prices spiking? New Disney+ merger explained amid massive shakeup
Disney announced a merger with Hulu in a whopping $9 billion deal with Comcast. The streaming platform will be integrated into the Disney+ platform, the company confirmed on Wednesday. The merger will take effect in 2026. All Disney+ subscribers will be able to download a new app. The Hulu app will shut down in phases. Disney announced a merger with Hulu after a whopping deal with Comcast(Unsplash) Will subscription prices rise after the Hulu and Disney+ merger? Disney says subscribers will still be able to purchase stand-alone plans for Disney+ or Hulu, despite plans to discontinue the Hulu app. The current Disney-Hulu bundle costs $10.99 to $19.99 per month. How did subscribers react? The change has sparked backlash from longtime Hulu fans. 'I wish Disney would just go back to being Disney… instead of absorbing every other streaming service,' one X user wrote. 'Can we shut down Disney+ and keep Hulu instead? It's just an all around much nicer platform to use,' another one wrote on X, platform formerly known as Twitter. 'Disney will be phasing out the Hulu app later in 2026 to make Hulu apart of Disney+ fully. It's unknown if it will change the Disney bundle. As well, Star will be rebranded into Hulu for international regions later this Fall after almost 5 years of being introduced,' a third person tweeted. CNN's chief media analyst Brian Stelter called Hulu 'the fastest, user-friendliest streaming app out there' and urged Disney to adopt its technology. 'Today we are announcing a major step forward in strengthening our streaming offering by fully integrating Hulu into Disney+. This will create an impressive package of entertainment, pairing the highest-caliber brands and franchises, great general entertainment, family programming, news and industry-leading live sports content in a single app," CEO Bob Iger and CFO Hugh Johnston said about the media giant's quarterly earnings. Is Hulu shutting down? Yes and no. While Hulu will keep operating under the Disney+ domain, its main application will shut down. The move comes as Disney's ESPN struck a deal with WWE to stream marquee events—such as WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Royal Rumble, Money in the Bank, and Survivor Series—starting Aug. 21 for $29.99 per month. ESPN's new streaming platform launches in 2026. Disney has been pursuing full control of Hulu for two years, buying NBCUniversal's final one-third stake for $438.7 million in June, on top of an $8.61 billion payout in November 2023—bringing the total to $9 billion. From March to June 2025, Disney's streaming division reported $346 million in profit, up 6% from the previous quarter.
