It's almost time for the 67th annual Grammy Awards! "Music's biggest night" is Sunday, Feb. 2, at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The awards will go on despite the wildfires that devastated L.A. in January. The Recording Academy announced plans to reimagine the show as a way to raise funds to support wildfire relief efforts and aid music professionals impacted by the wildfires.
As far as the nominees go, Beyoncé, the most-nominated artist in Grammys history, leads the pack with 11 nods — including Album of the Year. That category also features first-time nominees Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan and Charli XCX, alongside Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Andre 3000 and Jacob Collier. Kendrick Lamar, Charli XCX, Post Malone and Billie Eilish have seven nominations each. Swift received six.
Trevor Noah is this year's host, and the broadcast will feature performances by Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, Charli XCX, Doechii, Sabrina Carpenter and more. The 2025 Grammys will air on CBS and stream on the Paramount+ premium Showtime tier. Stars will hit the red carpet beginning at 6 p.m. ET.

Marvel's 'Ironheart' just got a new trailer — and now I can't wait to stream the new Disney Plus show

Marvel's "Ironheart" is just a few weeks away, and Disney Plus has just given us another look at what's in store in the form of a new trailer for the forthcoming six-part series. The first "Ironheart" trailer largely hinged on Riri's first "interview" for her gig working with "The Hood," before seeing her assembling her new suit (and then taking it for a spin and upending a speeding truck). This new one sees Riri talking about taking things apart and seeing "what they're made of," and the teaser very much seems like the theme of the show. Showing Riri meeting with Alden Ehrenreich's character (who concludes there "might be a hero in there"), the new trailer shows her building her suit and putting it to the best before turning to out-of-the-box thinking for her powers. In my opinion, it's a stronger teaser, one that better gives us an idea of Riri's mettle and sells the stakes that little bit more; the presence of that chaotic magic definitely makes proceedings that little bit more intriguing. I'm left with two big questions: what's the rest of that suit gonna look like when it's infused with magical powers, and what's happened to the figure that sure looks like Anthony Ramos' "The Hood" to make him appear as he does around the one-minute mark? Those expanding, thorny sigils creeping across his body can't be good news, right? Could Mephisto be making his MCU debut in "Ironheart"? I can't wait to find out. Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. Excited? "Ironheart" is getting a three-episode premiere on June 24 at 6 p.m. PT / 9 p.m. ET on Tuesday, June 24 (or Wednesday, June 25 in the U.K.). If you're not sure what to expect from the "Ironheart" show, Disney has already shared a synopsis for the new show. It reads: "Set after the events of 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,' Marvel Television's 'Ironheart' pits technology against magic when Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne) — a young, genius inventor determined to make her mark on the world — returns to her hometown of Chicago. "Her unique take on building iron suits is brilliant, but in pursuit of her ambitions, she finds herself wrapped up with the mysterious yet charming Parker Robbins, aka "The Hood" (Anthony Ramos)." In addition to Thorne and Ramos, "Ironheart" also stars Lyric Ross, Alden Ehrenreich, Regan Aliyah, Manny Montana, Matthew Elam, Jim Rash, Shea Couleé, Sacha Baron Cohen, and Anji White, among others. Dan Orlovsky and ESPN in agreement on a new deal: Sources

Dan Orlovsky, who hinted he may not return to ESPN, is expected to re-sign with the network and continue as a prominent football analyst, sources briefed on the contract talks said Tuesday. Orlovsky's new deal is not signed yet, but it has been agreed upon. He will continue to appear on 'NFL Live,' the second team on 'Monday Night Football' and all of his other daily talk show appearances, where he analyzes the NFL and college. Advertisement Orlovsky had talks to be on CBS' Big Ten broadcasts in place of the retiring Gary Danielson, but Orlovsky wanted to hear what ESPN would offer, making the timing not right for a decision. CBS ended up moving Charles Davis from the NFL to college after Danielson's final year in the booth. J.J. Watt is replacing Davis on CBS' No. 2 NFL broadcast team with Ian Eagle. After the Super Bowl in February, Orlovsky said on ESPN that 'you never know what the future holds,' as he gave thanks and mentioned he would not be on the network for a while. However, Orlovsky has since appeared on ESPN. ESPN declined to comment on Orlovsky's expected re-signing. Orlovsky, 41, joined ESPN in 2018 after a 12-year NFL career, where he served mostly as a backup. He rose through the ranks quickly and became part of ESPN's daily 'NFL Live' ensemble that also features Laura Rutledge, Marcus Spears and Mina Kimes. Additionally, Orlovsky pairs with Chris Fowler and Louis Riddick Jr. on ESPN's extra NFL games that its top team of Joe Buck and Troy Aikman don't broadcast.

Paramount Is Laying Off Hundreds of Employees

Paramount previously laid off 15% of its workforce last year. Paramount Global is cutting hundreds of employees, about 3.5% of its U.S. staff, according to a memo viewed by CNBC and Reuters. The memo, which said laid-off staff would be notified on Tuesday, was from the company's trio of CEOs — George Cheeks (CBS), Chris McCarthy (Showtime and MTV Entertainment Studios), and Brian Robbins (Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon). "These changes are necessary to address the environment we are operating in and best position Paramount for success." In August 2024, Paramount announced during its Q2 2024 earnings that it was laying off 15% of its U.S. workforce, around 2,000 employees. According to a regulatory filing, Paramount's workforce includes 18,600 full- and part-time global employees as of December 2024.
