
'The Social Network' is getting a sequel
The Facebook story is getting a continuation!
According to a report by Deadline, Aaron Sorkin, who wrote "The Social Network," is returning for a sequel.
He has already written the screenplay and will direct the project, which is based on the Wall Street Journal's "The Facebook Files," the report added.
Casting has yet to be announced. Previously, Jesse Eisenberg starred as Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.
"The Social Network" is a 2010 biographical film that tells the story of the founding of social media platform Facebook. It was a commercial and critical hit, sweeping awards at the 68th Golden Globe Awards including Best Motion Picture – Drama, and won three out of eight nominations at the 83rd Academy Awards. —JCB, GMA Integrated News

SB19, Aruma release Indonesian version of 'Mapa'

Netflix's 'Squid Game' concludes with Season 3 this Friday

'Blues Clues & You' host Josh Dela Cruz joins 'Into the Woods' cast
Josh Dela Cruz, best known as the host of 'Blues Clues & You,' is joining the cast of the Philippine staging of 'Into the Woods.' Theatre Group Asia announced on Friday that Josh is playing Cinderella's Prince or the Wolf. Josh is no stranger to the theater stage. He portrayed Aladdin on Broadway, performed in 'The King and I' with Lou Diamond Philipps, and in 'Merrily We Roll Along.' Based on James Lapine's book, "Into The Woods" is a musical that sees several fairy tales like "Jack and the Beanstalk," "Cinderella," and "Little Red Riding Hood" intertwine. More cast members include Lea Salonga as the Witch, her child Nic Chien as Jack, Arielle Jacobs as Cinderella, Mark Bautista as Rapunzel's Prince, Nyoy Volante as The Baker, Mikkie Bradshaw-Volante as The Baker's Wife, Eugene Domingo as Jack's Mother, Carla Guevara-Laforteza as Granny or the Giant, and many more. Tony Award winner Clint Ramos will serve as the overall artistic and creative director, alongside co-producers John and Joanna Echauz, and Samsung Performing Arts Theater Executive Director Chris Mohnani.
