UN Confirms Over 100 Palestinians Martyred in Two Days at Gaza Aid Distribution Points
Farhan Haq, Deputy Spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General, stated Friday that more than 100 people were martyred and hundreds injured in Gaza over the past two days while attempting to access food at military aid distribution points.
During a daily press briefing, the UN official emphasized that no one should risk their lives to obtain food, stressing the imperative to protect civilians at all costs.
He called for unimpeded and sufficient aid distribution to Palestinians in Gaza, warning that months of deprivation have deepened the crisis.
Haq underscored the urgent need to remove obstacles hindering aid flow into Gaza and ensure humanitarian workers can perform their duties swiftly and safely.
Israeli enemy crimes against Palestinians awaiting aid in Gaza continue daily since the implementation of the "Israeli-American mechanism" supervised by the so-called "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation" on May 27.
Earlier Friday, Gaza's Health Ministry reported the total martyrs of the "bread queues" - aid seekers arriving at hospitals - has risen to 1,383 martyrs and over 9,218 injuries since May 27.
With American and European support, the Israeli enemy army has committed genocidal crimes in Gaza since October 7, 2023, resulting in 60,332 Palestinian civilian martyrs (mostly women and children) and 147,643 injured - incomplete figures as thousands remain trapped under rubble inaccessible to rescue teams

Gaza's Children: Thin bodies, Sunken eyes, lives tortured by Zionist starvation
Gaza - Saba: The starvation of children in Gaza on Wednesday is no longer a metaphor. It has become a deadly reality, produced by the crimes of genocide and starvation imposed by the Israeli enemy on more than a million starving children in the besieged Strip. As a result of the brutal starvation policy pursued by the Israeli enemy, the children of Gaza, whose bodies have been emaciated by hunger, are threatened with a slow death. The Palestinian Information Center monitors the lives of Gaza's children under siege, amid the devastation caused by the Israeli enemy. This photo shows a starving Palestinian girl sleeping under a tattered blanket in a shelter in the northern Gaza Strip. The starving child's mother has nothing to feed her but dry bread crumbs, and the only words to silence her starving daughter's cries are the silence of another starving mother. The World Food Program has documented more than 1,700 deaths among children since January 2024 due to hunger and lack of healthcare. According to the UN program's statistics, 90% of children in the Gaza Strip suffer from severe malnutrition, 82% of them go to bed hungry every night, and 34% of children under the age of five suffer from acute malnutrition. Malnutrition is evident in children's thin bodies, sunken eyes, and hair loss, and even more so in the mental and psychological deterioration of children whose only crime is that a brutal Zionist killer lurks around them. Infant mortality has risen alarmingly in the starving Gaza Strip, due to the lack of infant formula and the decline in mothers' natural milk production as a result of the starvation crimes perpetrated by the Israeli enemy. In a statistic no less disastrous than the previous one, deaths of children under the age of five increased by 45% compared to last year. While 68% of Gazan families rely on one meal or less per day, in many cases they forgo this meal in favor of their starving children. The psychological effects of the Israeli enemy on children are no less severe than the suffering they suffer from hunger. According to UN reports, thousands of children suffer from serious psychological disorders, most notably anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder, amid a near-total absence of psychological support and care programs. Starvation in Gaza is not natural. Rather, it is a genocide committed by a brutal enemy with American partnership, Western complicity, and suspicious international silence. The Israeli enemy is killing starving children seeking food outside aid centers, a crime it shares with the United States, just as it kills many others seeking aid. The Palestinian Center for Human Rights has revealed shocking testimonies from young boys released by Israeli forces after being arrested while trying to obtain food aid, facing the "death traps" it operates in partnership with Washington. Amid all the Zionist starvation and genocide targeting children in Gaza, a faint humanitarian voice emerges, one that does not measure up to the scale of the crime. This voice calls for the rescue of the starving children of the Gaza Strip, the immediate opening of humanitarian crossings, funding of nutrition programs, and the provision of baby formula and nutritional supplements. A UN report revealed that of the 14,750 children in Gaza suffering from malnutrition, 3,288 are suffering from severe acute malnutrition. According to a report by the Ministry of Health in Gaza on Tuesday, the total number of victims of famine and malnutrition has risen to 188, including 94 children. Palestinians in the Gaza Strip have been facing an unprecedented wave of hunger since the Israeli enemy closed the Strip's crossings in early March and imposed severe restrictions on the entry of food, relief aid, fuel, and medicine. Over time, Gaza residents have exhausted all food supplies, and shops have become empty. Finding a loaf of bread has become almost impossible, while available goods have seen skyrocketing prices. Death by starvation has become one of the most severe causes of death in the Strip. The Israeli enemy's crimes against Palestinians waiting for aid in the Gaza Strip have continued daily since the implementation of the "Israeli-American" mechanism, overseen by the so-called "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation," on May 27. Children of Gaza: Emaciated Bodies, Sunken Eyes, and Lives Ravaged by Zionist Starvation
Gaza – SABA The death of children from hunger in Gaza is no longer a metaphor—it has become a deadly reality, the result of genocide and starvation policies imposed by the Israeli enemy on more than a million starving children in the besieged Strip. Due to the brutal starvation strategy employed by the Israeli occupation, Gaza's children—whose bodies have wasted away from hunger—are facing the threat of slow and painful death. The Palestinian Information Center continues to document the suffering of Gaza's children under siege and amid the destruction inflicted by the Israeli occupation. Among these is an image of a malnourished Palestinian girl sleeping under a tattered blanket at a shelter school in northern Gaza. The girl's mother has nothing to feed her but crumbs of dry bread. She has no words to soothe her child's hunger-induced crying—only the silence of a mother who is starving herself. The World Food Programme has recorded over 1,700 child deaths since January 2024 due to hunger and lack of medical care. According to UN statistics, 90% of children in Gaza suffer from severe food shortages. Some 82% go to bed hungry every night, while 34% of children under five years old are experiencing acute malnutrition. Malnutrition is visible in their skeletal frames, sunken eyes, and hair loss. More tragically, it manifests in the deteriorating mental and psychological health of children whose only crime is being the target of a brutal, inhuman Israeli war machine. Infant mortality has surged alarmingly due to the absence of baby formula and the inability of mothers to breastfeed—both direct consequences of Israel's starvation campaign. In another catastrophic figure, the death rate of children under five has risen by 45% compared to last year. While 68% of Gazan families survive on one meal or less per day, many forgo their own portions to give what little they have to their starving children. The psychological trauma inflicted by the Israeli occupation on children is no less severe than the physical suffering from hunger. According to UN reports, thousands of children are now suffering from severe psychological disorders, including anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress—conditions made worse by the near-total absence of support or mental health services. Starvation in Gaza is not a natural disaster—it is a crime of genocide, perpetrated by a monstrous enemy, enabled by American partnership, Western complicity, and global silence. Israeli forces have been killing hungry children seeking food in front of aid distribution centers. These killings are being carried out in concert with the United States, just as other civilians seeking assistance have been targeted. The Palestinian Centre for Human Rights has uncovered shocking testimonies from boys who were arrested by Israeli forces while attempting to collect food aid at what they described as 'death traps' operated jointly with Washington. Amid this ongoing starvation and genocidal campaign targeting Gaza's children, only faint humanitarian voices are being heard—voices that do not begin to match the scale of the crime. These voices call for immediate action: to open humanitarian corridors, fund nutrition programs, and provide infant formula and dietary supplements. A UN report revealed that among 14,750 malnourished children in Gaza, 3,288 are suffering from severe acute malnutrition. According to the Gaza Ministry of Health on Tuesday, the total death toll from starvation and malnutrition has risen to 188—94 of them children. Palestinians in Gaza are enduring an unprecedented wave of hunger since Israel closed all border crossings in early March and imposed harsh restrictions on the entry of food, aid, fuel, and medicine. As time passes, Gaza's residents have exhausted all food supplies. Shops have been emptied, bread has become nearly impossible to find, and the prices of what little remains have skyrocketed. Starvation has now become not just a cause of death—but one of the most brutal. Israeli crimes against Palestinians waiting for aid continue daily, particularly since the implementation of the U.S.-Israeli 'humanitarian mechanism' managed by the so-called 'Gaza Relief Foundation' began on May 27. UAE's largest Gaza aid ship carrying field hospital arrives in Egypt
The UAE's largest Gaza aid ship carrying a fully equipped field hospital and 7,166 tonnes of vital supplies has docked in Egypt's Al Arish Port on a major humanitarian mission. The Khalifa set sail from Khalifa Port in Abu Dhabi on July 21, loaded with 4,372 tonnes of food, 1,433 tonnes of shelter supplies, 860 tonnes of medical materials and 501 tonnes of health items. It is the eighth aid ship to be sent by the Emirates as part of the country's Operation Gallant Knight 3, a relief campaign launched after the outbreak of war with Israel on October 7, 2023. The Khalifa was met by a delegation of representatives from humanitarian and charitable groups, along with Ahmed Sari Al Mazrouei, secretary general of the Emirates Red Crescent, and Egyptian officials. The critical aid on board is to be transported from Egypt to the Gaza Strip, providing a vital lifeline to embattled Palestinians bearing the brunt of a worsening humanitarian crisis.
