So far, this has seen 22 players and two managers inducted into the coveted list since the inaugural inductions took place in 2021.
However, Giggs, the Premier League's most decorated player with 13 titles, holds the record for assists with 162 and for scoring goals in consecutive seasons (21) and is third on the all-time appearance list, is not included and has never been nominated.
The 51-year-old, who in 2012 was voted the league's best player at the 20 Seasons Awards, retired from professional football in 2014 after a 24-year spell with Manchester United.
The flying winger-turned midfield maestro also earned 64 caps for the Welsh National Team and represented Team GB at the London Olympics in 2012.

After hanging up his boots, he moved into coaching - initially as assistant to Louis van Gaal - before becoming the head coach of Wales in 2018.
But Giggs' career was thrown into chaos in November 2020 when he was arrested under suspicion of two counts of assault against his ex-girlfriend Kate Greville, and her younger sister, Emma.
Giggs always denied the charges but stepped down as Wales boss in June 2022 due to his upcoming trial on the case.
He was later cleared of assaulting Greville, who declined to co-operate with a retrial, in 2023, before also being cleared on further counts of coercive or controlling behaviour against her and common assault against Emma.

Giggs has been without a coaching job since the allegations came to light.
And asked whether he was bothered by his snub from the Hall of Fame list by former colleague Rio Ferdinand, Giggs told his podcast Rio Ferdinand Presents: "Not really.
Gary Neville reveals fear with Liverpool to become most successful English team ever
"No, I mean, I don't think about it until you just brought it up. I don't think about it.
"I think when you start off, you don't… These are the things that you're not striving for.
"You're striving off to win games and try and win trophies. That's the most important thing for me."
However, Giggs had a change of heart when Ferdinand revealed he had been inducted.
Giggs joked: "Now I am upset. Now I am... Jeez, what's going on? I'm going to look at the list now when I go home."
He then aimed another cheeky joke towards fellow Class of 92 member Gary Neville, asking if he had made it, to which Ferdinand replied: "No, I don't think Nev's on it yet.
"He'll get on it soon. He'll talk his way into it, won't he?"
The pair then spoke about legacy and how Giggs wants to be remembered, considering his recent controversies, with an eight-year affair with his brother Rhodri's wife also raising his notoriety.
He said: "I did want to entertain. I wanted to entertain in training. I wanted to entertain myself.
"So I wanted to… At United, you've got to win. But at the same time, if you can entertain and try things - you know, try little nutmegs, try little tricks, try and take players on…"
Former Man Utd stars to be inducted into the list include: David Beckham, Roy Keane, Eric Cantona, Peter Schmeichel, Paul Scholes, Rio Ferdinand and Andy Cole.
The shortlist of 2025 candidates is yet to be revealed.

Day of the Jackal author and former MI6 agent Frederick Forsyth dies aged 86
Author Frederick Forsyth, best known for writing thrillers including The Day of the Jackal, has died aged 86. Throughout his career, the English novelist and journalist sold more than 70 million books in more than 30 languages. Some of them included The Odessa File, The Fourth Protocol, The Dogs of War, The Devil's Alternative, The Fist of God, Icon, The Veteran, Avenger, The Afghan, The Cobra and The Kill List. More than a dozen of his titles have been adapted for screen, including 1971's The Day of the Jackal, which was made into a movie in 1973. Last year Sky released a TV version, which starred Eddie Redmayne as the titular character. It's now been announced the novelist died earlier today after a brief illness. His literary agents Curtis Brown said that the best-selling author was surrounded by his family as he died at home on Monday morning. Born in Ashford, Kent, in 1938, Forsyth completed his National Service in the Royal Air Force as a pilot. He then went on to pursue a career in journalism, joining Reuters in 1961 before moving to the BBC four years later. Working as an assistant diplomatic correspondent, Forsyth began by covering French affairs and the attempted assassination of Charles de Gaulle and then reporting on the Nigerian Civil War. After quitting his job and working as a freelance reporter, he released his first book, The Biafra Story, in 1969. Although he went on to write a string of hugely successful novels, he once said he only turned to writing fiction due to needing to make money rathe than any desire to become a novelist. Reflecting on writing The Day of the Jackal – his first full-length novel – Forsyth said he wrote it because he was 'skint, stony broke'. That book debuted to glowing reviews and won the 1972 Best Novel Edgar Award from the Mystery Writers of America. More Trending Decades later – in 2015 – he revealed that he'd been an informant for MI6 for over 20 years. Forsyth also narrated several documentaries, including Jesus Christ Airlines, Soldiers: A History of Men in Battle and I Have Never Forgotten You: The Life & Legacy of Simon Wiesenthal. His last book – 2018's The Fox – was released in 2018. Forsyth was appointed a Commander of the Order of the British Empire in the 1997 New Year Honours list for services to literature. Got a story? Spurs close in on Thomas Frank after making official approach to Brentford
Spurs sacked Ange Postecoglou on Friday, despite Europa League success, and quickly set their sights on Frank – who has gained admirers for his work over an impressive seven-year period at the west London club. After positive initial talks over the weekend, confidence started to grow on Monday morning that Frank would be the man to replace Postecoglou and Tottenham have now entered discussions with Brentford, PA understands. Following a review of performances and after significant reflection, the Club can announce that Ange Postecoglou has been relieved of his duties. — Tottenham Hotspur (@SpursOfficial) June 6, 2025 Frank's current deal with the Bees runs until the summer of 2027 and contains a release clause reported to be in the region of £10million. Brentford are eager to hold out for Frank's release clause, but they have started talks with Spurs over a compensation package which would soften the blow of losing the highly-rated Dane. The 51-year-old would take over a Spurs side which won the Europa League last month but finished 17th in the Premier League. Poor domestic form during the 2024-25 season cost Postecoglou his job as the Spurs board was forced to make 'one of the toughest decisions' it has had to make in dismissing the head coach who ended a 17-year trophy drought. 'It is crucial that we are able to compete on multiple fronts and believe a change of approach will give us the strongest chance for the coming season and beyond,' a club statement on Friday read. PA understands Tottenham have also relieved coaches Mile Jedinak, Nick Montgomery and Sergio Raimundo of their duties. A post shared by West Bromwich Albion (@wba) Ryan Mason left his role as Spurs first-team coach last week to take over as West Brom boss, which opens the door for Frank to bring in some of his own staff – with current Brentford assistant Claus Norgaard a long-term ally. PA understands another departure from Spurs this summer will be Scott Munn, who was made chief football officer at the club in 2023. Tottenham technical director Johan Lange has remained in post and is set to renew allegiances with compatriot Frank. Frank and Lange worked together at Danish club Lyngby before they both made their marks in the Premier League. Lange attempted to bring Frank to Aston Villa in 2022 when he worked at the midlands outfit. Former Brondby boss Frank has developed a strong reputation in English football since he took over Brentford, with his tactical nous and man-management skills often lauded by rival managers and pundits. After Frank guided Brentford to promotion in 2021, he quickly enabled them to compete strongly in the Premier League despite a modest budget and has been linked to a number of high-profile vacancies in recent years.
